Industrial cluster is adopted as a key policy for the development of regional and national economies in many developed or under-developing countries. The industrial cluster is basically concerned with knowledge sharing and exchanges among diverse functions such as firms, research institutions, and universities in a regional or innovation-network context. Therefore, activities to promote knowledge sharing and exchanges in an industrial cluster become very important activities to reach to the original purpose of an industrial cluster. In this study, factors affecting performance of those activities to promote knowledge sharing and exchanges in an industrial cluster are defined and the effects are examined through empirical study. For this research, surveys on enterprisers and employees in industrial cluster were conducted and statistical analysis methods such as correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and canonical correlation analysis were adopted for analyses.

This research explores the role of personal performance expectation, task-technology fit, perceived rewards, shared vision, usefulness of knowledge sharing, top management support, organization culture, organizational commitment, KMS self-efficacy as antecedents which affect knowledge sharing activity as a consequence and investigates relationships among variables considering characteristics. The results show that members' perceived personal performance expectation, task-technology fit, perceived rewards, shared vision, usefulness of knowledge sharing, top management support, organization culture, organizational commitment, KMS self-efficacy has a positive effect perspectively on knowledge sharing in a organization. Especially, the fact that perceived members' task-technology fit, perceived rewards, usefulness of knowledge sharing is more important than other variables was confirmed. The results of this study, knowledge-sharing activities of the enterprise, members of the organization's business strategy for the activation process is expected to help.

Regional innovation cluster is closely related to promoting innovations through activities for knowledge sharing and exchanges among organizations in an adjacent regional context. However, performance of activities for knowledge sharing and exchanges are basically influenced by cultural characteristics of the industries or regions where the organization belongs to. Therefore, knowledge management strategies in a unit of a regional cluster need to consider the cultural characteristics of an industry or region and in turn different activities need to be adopted according to cultural characteristics. This study explores the relationship between cultural differences and the performance of the activities to promote knowledge exchanges in a regional innovation cluster. For this study, factors reflecting cultural characteristics of diverse industries and regions were extracted and the relationships with the performance of the activities promoting inter-organizational knowledge exchanges were analyzed through statistical method.

In the Knowledge-based economy, it is inevitable for companies to implement knowledge management(KM in short) to improve management performance. In order to better understand the KM, it is necessary to examine the relationship between success factors of KM and KM performance in agribusiness sector. This study empirically analyzes the impact of success factors of Knowledge Management on companies' management performance in agribusiness cluster. From the survey data of 43 companies located in Sunchang fermented soybean products Industrial cluster, the study finds that four factors- learning culture, network, knowledge sharing and knowledge creating- influence management performance in a positive way. It also examines whether Industrial cluster strategy functions as a moderator between KM success factors and companies' performance. Furthermore, this study concludes that Sunchang fermented soybean Industrial cluster has not reached to the final stage of KM and suggests elements for further improvements.

연구개발에 필요한 정보의 생성 주기가 빨라지고 그 양이 방대해지는 것은 물론 다양한 주제와 분야의 연구가 진행되면서 연구자간의 연구 교류와 연구 성과물에 대한 공유의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 연구자각 개인들이 컴퓨터에 소장하고 있는 지식정보는 연구자에 의해 생성되거나 또는 핵심자원으로 선별 분석된 것이므로, 개인이 소장하고 있는 지식정보 자원의 효율적인 공유와 유통은 연구자들의 연구를 촉진시키고, 결과적으로 해당 분야의 연구협력의 기회를 증진시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 URI 기반 과학기술 온톨로지로 표현된 성과물을 대상으로 연구자, 기관, 지역 간의 연구 활동은 물론 다양한 관점에서 성과물정보를 제공함으로써 연구자들의 연구 활동을 지원하는 정보유통 인터페이스를 설계하였다.

The latest several studies show that Wiki is a very efficient tools for collaborative learning in the distributed environments. Even though Wiki supports efficient knowledge sharing between group members, there are still some problems to be solved for collaborative learning. Since the structure of group contents becomes more complex and the links between pages are dynamically changed, each member of group has difficulties to perceive the changed contents and links on group pages. We designed the adaptive navigation system to guide individual browsing paths of each member through the calculating of friendship and the state of pages. At first we developed the relation model between member and each pages by the historical log that stored the change of pages and the activity of members, and then we implemented the adaptive navigation system using the model. Experimental results show that this adaptive system is very effective to share the group knowledge and to promote collaborative learning activities.

Companies are actively engaged in various innovation activities and intellectual property rights activities such as patents in order to survive in a fiercely competitive global environment. The purpose of this study is to understand the factors that influence corporate patent-related activities on business results. For this reason, we conducted a questionnaire survey of patent practitioners and R & D personnel of Chinese companies, and analyzed the causal relationship using PLS analysis tools. As a result of the analysis, it was found that compensation and obstacle factors have a significant effect on information sharing (collaboration)... It was found that information sharing (collaboration) has a significant impact on technology complementation (improvement) and corporate image. It was also found that technical complementation (improvement) and corporate image have an impact on management results. The results of this study will be able to find and strategically utilize the factors that promote and encourage companies to develop their patent activities.

한국경제의 선진권진입(先進圈進入)은 국민이 선진국의 생활수준을 향유할 수 있는 국가경쟁우위(國家競爭優位)의 확보를 의미한다. 국가경쟁우위를 확보하기 위해서는 (1)국내기업의 핵심역량(核心力量)이 배양되고 과학기술하부구조(科學技術下部構造)가 확충되는 등 지식집약산업의 중추기능(中樞機能)이 집적되어야 하고, (2)정보공유(情報共有)와 공동학습(共同學習)을 실현하는 혁신주체간의 네트워크도 형성되어야 한다. 세계기업(世界企業)을 지향하는 국내기업들이 90년대에 무형경영자산(無形經營資産)에 대한 장기투자를 확대하기 시작하여, 2000년대에는 핵심역량의 축적이 가속될 것이며, 2010년대에는 한국계 다국적기업 중에서 기업내(企業內) 세계분업(世界分業)을 전개하는 초우량기업(超優良企業)이 나타날 것이다. 2010년대에는 초우량기업을 중심으로 연구개발(硏究開發)네트워크와 생산분업(生産分業)네트워크가 구축되고 과학기술하부구조가 확충되는 등 세계기업이 고부가활동(高附價活動)(상품기획 연구개발 엔지니어링 등)을 배치하는 입지조건(立地條件)이 구비될 것이다. 특히 차세대(次世代) 원천특허기술(源泉特許技術)의 확보를 위한 기초 응용연구의 국내기반도 확충될 것이다. 중소기업분야에서도 지식집약화에 경영자원을 집중적으로 투입하면서 세계시장을 대상으로 입지를 선정하고 네트워크를 활용하는 것이 보편화될 것이다. 중소기업의 조직화(組織化) 공동화(共同化)를 통하여 지식집약화와 세계화에 요구되는 경영자원의 축적이 가속되고 기능적 상호보완으로 혁신활동(革新活動)의 상승효과(相乘效果)를 증폭시키는 네트워크의 형성도 촉진될 것이다. 중견 중소기업의 업종은 특정지역에 군락(群落)을 이루고 기능(機能)의 집적(集積)과 네트워크의 형성을 통하여 지역산업(地域産業)으로서 세계시장에서 경쟁우위를 확보하게 될 것이다.

Online collaborative teaming, which has emerged as a new type of education in knowledge-based society, is being discussed actively in the areas of action learning at companies and project-based learning and inquiry-based learning at schools. It regards as an effective method for improving learners practical and highly advanced problem solving abilities, and for stimulating their absorption into learning through pursuing common goals of learning together. Different from individual learning, however, collaborative learning involves complicated processes such as organizing teams, setting common goals, performing tasks and evaluating the outcome of team activities .Thus, it is difficult for a teacher to promote and evaluate the whole process of collaborative learning, and it is necessary to develop systems to support collaborative learning. Therefore, in order to monitor and promote interaction among learners in the process of collaborative learning, the present study developed an extensible collaborative teaming supporting agent (ECOLA) in online learning environments.

In domestic university libraries, the difference between the knowledge resource collection activities on campus is depending on the size of the university, and their collection is concentrated on some types of digital resources. In recent years, the main universities in developed countries has developed actively in social openness and share activities of their knowledge resources, through the OA-based institutional repository, for the purpose of image improvement and competitiveness as a knowledge production base. This study examined ways to improve the relevant regulations in order to effectively collect and systematically manage the knowledge resources from graduate school, research institutes, center for teaching and learning, e-learning center, museum, press, a variety of campus organizations, so as to enhance the role of the library as the right manager of knowledge resources on campus. To this end, this study, considering the improvement of relevant regulations, investigates the operating situation of the library regulations of 176 universities and suggests necessary improvement methods in order to facilitate the digital legal deposit and expand its scope.
