환경설계를 통한 범죄예방이론(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design : CPTED)은 어떻게 지속 가능한 발전의 수요에 따라 융합할 것인가라는 문제에 있어서 아직 현단계 제3세대 이론의 발전 과정을 지속하고 있다. 게다가 국제적으로도 논쟁과 토론을 많이 일으키고 있다. 더욱 주목할 만한 것은 그 논쟁과 토론하는 관점이 이론 모델 및 이론 모델 속의 원칙 간의 상호 작용 관계에 무시 못 할 영향을 일으켰다는 것이다. 본 연구는 이론 발전의 전체적 맥락을 파악한 후 CPTED이론 발전의 정체성이 환경과 환경 사용자 상호 간에 다양한 이해의 차원과 교류의 방식을 제공한다. CPTED 이론 발전의 정체성을 기초로 해서 CPTED 범죄 예방 디자인 패턴은 지속 가능성의 다양한 차원을 연결시켜야 하며, 거주적합성을 디자인 목표의 출발점으로 삼고 Top-down 패턴에 의거하여 환경의 안전성에 대해 조정해야 한다는 관점을 명확히 했다. 그러나 단지 기존 물리적 설계 방법으로 상향식(Bottom-up)의 패턴을 사용해 환경을 개선해서는 안 된다. 그래서 본 연구는 정체성을 핵심으로 하향식의 범죄 예방 디자인 패턴을 결합해, 이를 이론 모델의 재구성으로 시각화 제안을 제기했다. 이는 어떤 단계의 성과나 원칙의 응용에 보충하는 것이 아니며, 따라서 CPTED의 이론적 모델과 지속 가능한 발전에 참고와 자료를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the planning features of apartments that are people-friendly, nature-friendly and ones that improve the quality of the apartments through sustainable design characteristics found in the apartment community space. This study found the sustainable design characteristics through the case of 8 environment-friendly apartment in the Seoul-Gyeunggi area. Sustainable design was categorized into three areas a) social sustainability b) economic sustainability c) ecological sustainability. The major findings are summarized as follows: First, socially sustainable design which included plans for various types of squares, spaces for pedestrians showed high application of universal design plans. While, plans to maximize open spaces that facilitate the social exchanges among residents showed low application. Second, economically sustainable design showed high application in terms of access to public transportation and bicycle storage facilities. However, planning factors such as alternative energy facilities, recyclable materials, reuse of rainwaterand heavy water showed low application. Third, environmentally sustainable design included high application of promenades, artificially created green space and various types of water space. On the other hand, nature study centers, biotope and environment friendly parking space showed low application.

애경의 대표적인 세탁세제 '스파크'가 2008 팬타어워드(PENTAWARDS)에서 생활용품 카테고리 내 1위인 플래티넘상을 수상, "어느 나라를 막론하고 언어가 필요 없이도 제품의 용도를 아주 명확히 알 수 있는 진정한 유니버설 디자인"이라는 극찬을 받는 등 열광적인 호응을 얻었다. 글로벌 패키지디자인 공모전인 팬타어워드는 세계의 유수한 회사들과 디자인 전문업체가 참가하는 패키지 디자인 어워드로 이번 디자인 어워드에는 세계 39개국에서 6백88점의 작품이 출품, 국내 기업 중에서는 애경이 수상했다. 애경산업 디자인센터 정영수 대리에게 수상 소감 및 스파크 패키지디자인에 대한 견해를 들어보았다.

본 연구는 지속 가능한 친환경 화장품 패키지에 관한 사례 연구이다. 최근 전 세계적으로 환경 문제가 대두되면서 친환경 패키지의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 국내 화장품 업계는 이러한 변화에 발맞춰 지속 가능한 패키지 디자인을 출시하고 있지만, 한정적이다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 사례 각 5가지 선행 연구를 바탕으로 지속 가능한 패키지 기준을 나누어 분석하였다. 연구 결과 국내에는 국외와 비교하여 지속 가능 패키지의 소재와 디자인이 다양하지 않다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 소비자 주도의 친환경 캠페인이 부족하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구를 기점으로 삼아 앞으로 더 나은 지속 가능한 화장품 패키지에 대한 연구가 계속해서 이루어지기를 기대한다.

Considering the need for a clothing product design strategy for the sustainable growth of outdoor brands, this study analyzed an outdoor consumer survey applying selected sustainable elements, reflected the results in design planning, suggested prototypes, and presented a design strategy. The consumer survey was conducted from July 19 to July 25, 2022, and 216 respondents were used for analysis. As a result of the outdoor consumer survey analysis of selected sustainable elements, the most preferred outdoor design concept involved the keywords 'zero waste' and 'transformable design' from a sustainable economic perspective. An outer jacket design was then created focusing on these two keywords and a prototype was produced. The SCD (sustainability, consumer, designer) design strategy was presented as a strategy for sustainable growth of outdoor brands, and the key factors of this strategy are as follows: (a) application of sustainable design elements, (b) reflection of consumer opinions on sustainability, (c) designers' sustainable mindset and decisions.

Various methodologies have been proposed in discussions of sustainability to meet the needs and sustenance of both civilization and the ecosystem. Among them, the modern concept of biomimicry is emerging as a way to meet both the concepts of sustainable 'development' and 'society', due to its philosophical position encompassing the human-centered world view and the non-human-centered view of ecocentrism. Therefore, in the field of design in which it is necessary to take responsibility for environmental and social problems, this could be a good way to solve these issues. Biomimicry design can generally be divided into three stages: form, function, and ecosystem. From the point of view of ecological sustainability, ecosystem imitation is the most advanced and appropriate design approach that can solve the problems or even prevent them. Accordingly, this study derived a biomimicry design approach in the ecosystem imitation stage based on the concepts of biomimicry, ecological sustainability, and ecological aesthetics. The detailed approaches are 'imitation of the natural providence', 'imitation of the ecosystem's creation process', and 'imitation of the ecological cycle'. This study investigated and presented cases, such as the design imitating the ecological mechanism of microorganisms and the work using mark-making based on the derived design approach, because it could be too conceptual and idealistic by itself. Through this, we explored a method of applying and visualizing the concept of biomimicry in textile design at the ecosystem imitation level and showed its feasibility, although it still has difficulties in practical use.

The purpose of this study is to establish the idea of sustainable slow design by analyzing literatures and preceding cases, based on the external elements of a design including forms, the methods of expression, materials and colors. This study reviewed the previous literature of books and pictures related to the research for case studies and content analysis. fashion books, magazines, and web-sites published from 2000 to 2005 were analyzed for this research. The sustainable slow design trends in fashion can be summarized as follow. The first is a timeless style which has sustain ability in design independently of the versatile fads and relies on functionality, serving the purpose of design. One of the examples is both clothes designed by Burberry and suits by Chanel. The second is a hand-touch style which the more time for outputs can be positively tolerated, in favor on eco-friendly design through the techniques of manual arts. The third is a renewable design which the combined values of design with reuse and renewal result in recreation of past ecology as shown in the technique of designs by mix & match. The forth is a transformable design which features the multi-purpose and multi-forms, eventually extending the lift cycle of products. As a result of analysis of the four designs above, it can be inferred that the representation of past styles, the mixture of old design with new design, the appropriate combination of conventional fabrics with advanced ones, the ecological trends of sports look was emerging.

본 연구의 목적은 지속가능 PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) 활동과 성능에 관한 관계를 분석하고자 한다. PLM 활동의 효과를 알아보기 위해서 전통적인 PLM 활동과 지속가능 PLM 활동을 고려하여 S-PLM 프레임워크를 디자인 했다. 또한 제조기업의 PLM성공 요소를 추적하고 각 성공요소들간의 관계를 이해하기 위해 경로 분석을 실시하였다. 본연구의 결과는 4가지로 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 제품정보, 제조정보 그리고 엔지니어링정보와는 지속가능 성과와 아무런 연관이 없다. 둘째, 지속가능 활동과 성과 간에는 양의 상관관계가 존재한다. 셋째, 전통적이 PLM활동과 지속가능 PLM활동 요소는 혁신성과요소를 포함하고 있다. 넷째, 지속가능 성과는 경영과 비즈니스 성과에 영향을 끼친다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지속가능 PLM의 구축 메카니즘과 활동 요소간의 영향도를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 기대효과로는 융복합적 PLM을 구축하고 운영하는데 혁신적인 성과가 창출되고 효율성이 나타나게 된다.

The purpose of this study is to arrange the design elements and methods for sustainable community. After made the concept of sustainable community clear in the contemporary architecture and urban design, this study examines rural ecovillage, urban demonstration project, co-housing, new urbanism and urban village, and ecological township as the application modes of sustainable community. Through the cases of the application mode, the design elements for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: the symbiosis system with the nature, permaculture and edible landscape, identity, the technology for saving of resources and energy, the traffic system for the reduction of private motor use, mixed use development, and the housing with diversity. And the design methods for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: strategic planning, visioning, community action planning, workshops and charrette, environmental evaluation, and participation techniques.
