최근 네트워크 기술이 발달함에 따라 실시간 스트리밍 서비스의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라, 스트리밍에 있어 복잡성 및 대기시간 등의 문제점을 해결하고자 공통 미디어 포맷에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 또한, 통신망을 활용한 고품질 AV(Audio-Video) 콘텐츠 전송이 가능해짐에 따라, 국내 UHD(Ultra High Definition) 방송 전송 표준은 방송망과 통신망을 활용한 하이브리드 서비스 규격을 제정하였다. 하이브리드 서비스는 통신망을 활용함에 따라, 방송망 관련 부가 데이터 및 사용자 맞춤형 콘텐츠 제공과 같은 다양한 서비스가 가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 국내 지상파 UHD 전송 표준인 MMT(MPEG Media Transport)와 모바일 망에 특화된 기능을 제공하기 위해 제안된 Mobile MMT의 시그널링 메시지를 활용한 콘텐츠 삽입 기술을 제안한다. 또한, 이종망 환경에서 콘텐츠 삽입 기술 시스템 모델 및 서비스 시나리오를 제안하고, 제안한 시스템 모델 기반의 검증플랫폼을 통해 제안 기술의 타당성을 확인한다.

This article was to study the following three purposes. First, to identify and describe the platform strategies, content strategies, and management challenges that currently define the South Korean terrestrial broadcasting business. Second, to analyze from various angles the business area of global media group, in terms of platform strategies, content strategies, and management challenges. Third, to suggest how Korea's terrestrial broadcasting industry can become competitive with media groups. Looking at the digital conversion process and strategy as well as terrestrial broadcasting in each country, when digital switchover point and Action Plan, and the similarities in values and the role of digital terrestrial broadcasting times there are differences may be found.

This study explores the factor which effects user's viewing on online in the situation of increasing viewing via OTT. After analyzing how the amount of news coverage and viewing rate affects user's active viewing, higher the number of views, In case of groundwave programs, if number of news coverage is high, hits of view and the number of comments is also high. While viewing rate, the number of views, the number of comments are independent of each other. In case of TV channels of comprehensive programming and cable TV, there is a interaction effect of viewing rate and the amount of news coverage. This study highlights the importance of the amount of news coverage when viewers is watching video on web.

The purpose of this study is to confirm violence regulation of television. Television programs that infringed the standards of violence and were sanctioned, were analyzed in terms of broadcasting violence standards and the level of sanction imposed, according to network and cable television. The results show that both network and cable television were mainly imposed on sanction of caution and recommendation. And violation of article 36 was most. But there were differences in violation of articles 36, 39, 51 between network and cable television.

The purpose of this study is to search the correlation between real-time viewing and OTT VOD usage. The study is based on the ratings and VOD download data, collected from TNmS and pooq. And this study focused on the ratings, 2049 ratings, OTT VOD download over the past 7 days, OTT VOD download over the past 30 days. The results showed that there were positive correlation in all genres(drama, entertainment, current affairs). First, there was a correlation between ratings and OTT VOD download over the past 7 days, between 2049 ratings and OTT VOD download over the past 7 days. Next, there was a correlation between ratings and OTT VOD download over the past 30 days, between 2049 ratings and OTT VOD download over the past 30 days. Finally, there was somewhat different among rankings of the ratings and VOD download.

지상파 디지털방송에서는 기존 아날로그 방송에 비해 뛰어난 품질의 영상/음성 서비스가 제공될 뿐만 아니라 신문이나 잡지에서 볼 수 있었던 프로그램 정보를 TV 화면상에서 바로 받아 볼 수 있는 EPG(Electronic Program Guide) 서비스와 각종 데이터 서비스도 함께 제공된다. 이러한 EPG 정보와 함께 수신기에 필요한 각종 시스템 정보를 수신측에 전달하려면 ATSC(Advanced Television Systems Committee)의 PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol)에 따라 정보를 가공하는 장비가 필요하며 데이터 서비스를 위해서는 ATSC A/90의 송출 규격에 따라 데이터를 가공하는 장비가 필요하게 된다. 데이터서버 시스템은 PSIP의 생성과 데이터의 스케줄링을 담당하는 Data/PSIP 제어기와 데이터를 ATSC 송출 규격에 맞추어 가공하는 데이터 인젝터로 구성된다. 데이터서버 시스템은 방송 편성 정보를 담고 있는 KBS 편성 DB, 각종 콘텐츠를 관리하는 콘텐츠 DB, 그리고 실시간 독립정보 서비스를 제공하기 위한 실시간 어플리케이션 에이전트와의 인터페이스를 갖추고 있다. Data/PSIP 제어기와 데이터 인젝터에서는 편성된 PSIP 정보와 콘텐츠 데이터를 ASI(Asynchronous Serial Interface) 인터페이스를 통해서 다중화기로 전송한다. 다중화기는 PSIP 정보와 인코딩된 데이터 정보를 A/V TS(Transport Stream)와 함께 다중화하여 최종적으로 디지털 데이터 방송용 TS를 출력시킨다.

최근 데이터 방송은 새로운 콘텐츠의 부재로 어려움을 겪고 있지만 사용자 중심의 서비스와 플랫폼을 지향하는 웹 2.0의 개념과 기술의 도입을 통해 콘텐츠 활성화에 기여할 것으로 보인다. 그에 대한 기대와 요구가 있으나 구체적인 구현 사례는 존재하지 않으므로 이에 본 논문에서는 웹 2.0으로 각광받고 있는 RSS를 통해 웹에서 지속적으로 업데이트가 이루어지는 최신 정보를 별도의 수집과정 없이 데이터 방송서비스를 생성하는 시스템을 개발했다. 지상파 DMB 데이터 방송의 경우 실시간으로 업데이트가 이루어지는 콘텐츠의 경우 지속적인 반영이 어렵지만 RSS를 통해 콘텐츠를 생성함으로써 저작 단계 및 시간을 줄여 보다 웹의 다양한 내용의 최신 정보를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있다.

최근 급속하게 발전하고 있는 컴퓨터, 인터넷 분야의 디지털 기술과 함께 방송 환경도 기존의 아날로그 방식에서 디지털 방식으로 바뀌어 가고 있다. 최근 이러한 디지털 방송 환경의 도입으로 A/V 프로그램의 고화질 서비스 제공과 더불어 다양한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 방송망을 통해 전송할 수 있는 데이터방송 기술에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 현재 실시간 운영체제(Real Time O/S)를 이용한 독립형 데이터방송 셋톱박스들의 성능은 Java 나 XML을 기반으로 저작된 콘텐츠들을 처리할 수 있으나 MPEG-4와 같은 객체 기반의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 처리하기에는 연산 능력의 한계를 가지고 있다. 그러나 앞으로 데이터방송 서비스의 발전 방향은 시청자가 직접 방송 내용에 대해 활발하게 상호 작용을 할 수 있는 대화형 방송 서비스로 발전할 것이다. 이러한 대화형 방송에서 사용되는 콘텐츠는 복잡하고 계산량이 많이 요구되며 이를 처리하기 위해서 셋톱박스는 높은 연산량을 가진 다양한 멀티미디어 기능을 처리할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 디지털 지상파 데이터방송시 ATSC-DASE 기반의 콘텐츠와 MPEG-4 콘텐츠를 수신하고 처리할 수 있는 PC 기반의 고성능 셋톱박스에 대한 설계 방안을 제안한다.

This paper purposes to identify who is/are in charge of KBS broadcasting programming in view of freedom of broadcasting and interest of audience under the circumstance that Blue House put pressure on KBS to refrain from reporting Sewol Ferry disaster. For this purpose this study has reviewed prior theses, books, journals, laws, and cases, etc. It is analyzed that principal agents in charge of freedom of broadcasting journalism and programming are KBS employees in charge of producing broadcasting programs and KBS chief programming officer, who is appointed by KBS CEO. KBS CEO, who can easily be influenced by governmental pressure in terms of KBS structure, should avoid interfering with programming and producing directly or indirectly for freedom of the press and public interests.

A present experimental broadcasting is service compatible to delivery left view and right view of a dual stream for backward compatible with 2D device. It has a limitation of quality for a transmission of dual stream in terrestrial bandwidth 19 Mbps. This paper proposes adjunct terrestrial-3D broadcasting system which can provide a stable quality beyond a limitation of quality from fixed bandwidth. It proposes the system that composes a high quality stereoscopic video through synchronizing Real time broadcasting and Non Real Time broadcasting Regardless of the terrestrial bandwidth. So this paper tries to analyze each technique of Real-Time broadcasting and NRT broadcasting, and verify this proposal through the technique of an algorithm that we can implement NRT adjunct high quality 3DTV system and the experiments.
