  • 터널은 긴 선상구조물로서 사전지질조사에 의해 설계에 필요한 정보를 정밀도 높게 구하는 것이 매우 어렵다. 따라서 터널시공 중 암반 및 지질상황을 관찰하고, 터널주변 지반의 거동을 계측하여 지반에 적합한 지보공을 설계ㆍ시공하는 것이 필수적이다. 이를 위해서 터널시공 중 정량적인 암반분류와 계측(일상관리계측과 대표단면계측)이 주기적으로 실시되고 있지만, 이러한 결과를 어떻게 시공에 반영하느냐는 터널의 합리적인 시공에 있어 매우 어려우면서도 중요한 문제라 할 수 있다. (중략)

  • 일반 교량에 주로 사용되는 콘크리트 바닥판 시공을 위해서는 동바리, 거푸집 등을 설치하고 철근 배근 후 콘크리트를 타설하는 방법이 사용되어왔다. 그러나 기존 콘크리트 바닥판 시공은 계절 및 기후의 영향을 많이 받는다. 또한 시공과정에서 많은 인력이 요구되고 시공 안전성 확보를 위한 노력이 필요한 실정이다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 최근에 프리캐스트 바닥판을 이용한 교량 시공이 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 프리캐스트 바닥판은 공장에서 선제작한 후 현장에서 조립하여 시공한다. 따라서 프리캐스트 바닥판 시공은 계절 및 기후의 영향을 최소화 하여 공기를 단축할 수 있고, 공장제작에 따른 양호한 품질도 보장된다. 또한 인력이 적게 요구되면서 시공 안전성도 확보할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 기존의 프리캐스트 바닥판은 패널의 폭이 좁고 외측 캔틸레버부의 시공 시 별도의 지보공이 필요한 단점을 갖고 있었다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 장폭 외측 프리캐스트 바닥판이 제안되었다. 장폭 외측 프리캐스트 바닥판은 패널의 폭을 늘려서 장폭의 바닥판을 만들고, 가설구조물을 이용하여 지보공 없이 시공이 가능하게 고안되었다. 본 연구에서는 장폭 외측 프리캐스트 패널 캠버 조정에 사용 될 가설구조의 현장적용을 위하여, 실험 후 유한요소해석을 수행하여 비교 및 검증하였다.

  • 터널에서의 암반분류/평가는 지보패턴결정 뿐만 아니라 터널주변암반에 대한 설계정 수 산정 및 물성평가에 있어 매우 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 암반분류는 각 국 또는 주요기관 별로 분류안이 만들어져 있으며, 현재 RMR분류와 Q-system이 가장 활발히 적용되고 있다. 본고에서는 터널설계단계에서 암반분류방법과 지보패턴결정과정을 고찰하였으며, 도로설계를 중심으로 적용현황을 분석하였다 또한 실제 터널시공시 암반분류 및 판정에 의한 지보공 변경사례를 살펴봄으로서 시공 중 암반분류/평가의 의미를 고찰하였다. 그리고 암반분류요소들에 대한 통계분석을 실시하여 암반분류요소들간의 상관관계를 분석하였다.

Tunnel Instrumentation on the Lattice Girder using Load Cells (로드셀을 이용한 격자지보 계측)

  • The use of lattice girder is increased rapidly as a substitute for H-steel ribs at the tunnel sites in Korea. Ground loads acting on the tunnel are supported by shotcrete and lattice girders. To assess the safety of the tunnel, it is essential to obtain field measurements for the lattice girders; however, lattice girder measurements have rarely been performed at tunnel sites, and the method of measurement is not well established. In the present study we suggest a load cell method for the instrumentation of tunnels with lattice girders. Actual measurements of ground loads acting on lattice girders are presented for a specific tunnel under construction.

A Study on Strength Characteristics of Yieldable Steel Arch Supports (가축성 강재 지보의 강도특성에 관한 연구)

  • The brief results of laboratory and field tests of yieldable steel arches are represented. The test supports were fabricated with three U-sectional beams which are 25.8 kg/m of Glocken profile. The structural analyses of semi-circular and arch supports were conducted to find out shape factor of U beam to be 1.35 and the location of 2nd plastic hinges. Load capacity of arch supports under crown loading were examined as a function of leg length. Yieldable characheristics of test supports were investigated with various bolting torque of connection part. Determination method of bolting torque were also studied. Finally, test supports were installed in-situ with torque of 21 kg .m, which showed a typical yielding procedure.

  • It is very important to control the final load that acts on a support system, in tunnel engineering. A reliable analysis is needed to carry out technically reasonable design and safe construction. Also, a series of procedures of construction and the rock-support interaction behavior must be considered. Most existing studies have been performed as the limited analysis based on the simplified assumption. In this study, through the analysis of a circular tunnel using a 2-D finite differential code, the rook-support interaction behaviors in the variation of rock and stress conditions are analyzed and compared with the results from the closed form solutions. Consequently, more realistic rock-support interaction curves are obtained by including the effects of initial stresses and rock condition. These cures are very useful to predict the required support pressure in the initial design stage.

Evaluation on the Applicability of a Lattice Girder for a Support System in Tunnelling (격자지보의 터널지보재로서의 현장 적용성 평가)

  • NATM(New Austrian Tunnelling Method) uses a support system of shotcrete, rockbolt and steel support, which are installed after tunnel excavation. Recently, a lattice girder among these support system is used in tunnelling. A lattice girder is a new steel support developed in Europe for the replacement of an existing H-shaped steel set, which is reported to have some problems in installation. This is a triangular shape welded with steel rods and is a light-weight support system which enables fast and easy installation of porepolling. The major advantage of a lattice girder is the good bonding with shotcrete. In this study, to evaluate the applicability of a lattice girder in tunnelling in Korea, field tests were performed at a high speed railway tunnel with a large section. Also, features of lattice girder in field tests were compared with those of a H-shaped steel set respectively. Field tests proved that a lattice girder fully supported the initial earth pressure developed right after excavation and limited ground deformation effectively.

An Experimental Study on Load Bearing Capacity of Lattice Girder as a Steel Support in Tunnelling (터널 지보재로서 격자지보의 하중지지력에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • It has long been recognized that the H-beam steel rib has many shortcomings when used as a steel support in tunneling. One of the major shortcomings is the shotcrete shadow created behind H-beam flange which eventually reduces the load bearing capacity of shotcrete shell. In many European countries, plate girder as the H-beam steel rib has been replaced by lattice girder which has many advantages over the H-beam steel rib. Successful application of the lattice girder as a steel support requires a thorough investigation on the load bearing capacity of the lattice girder. Therefore, laboratory bending and compression tests were conducted on lattice girders with the aim of investigating the load bearing capacity of the lattice girders. The results of tests show that the load bearing capacity of laIn twice girders is higher than that of H-beams, which indicates that the lattice girder can be effectively used as a support in tunneling.

  • In domestic cases, the standard support pattern of 2-lanes road tunnels is presented because construction experience and high degree various data was abundant. But, it is not desirable to apply standard for 2-Arch tunnels that the precedent and measuring data is insufficient existing support pattern blasting plan and interpretation of separate way concerning specific terrain and rock quality. In this study, behavior according to load distribution ratio and Unsymmetrical Pressure about standard support pattern which is applied in design and construction of 2-arch tunnels was analysed and the examination of blasting vibration has influence on the center wall is conducted as a consequence reasonableness of support whether or not with presumed support pressure and ground reaction curve method. In result appropriateness of standard support pattern, support quantity is proper but considers specific terrain and rock quality condition when design and construction of further step 2-arch tunnel standard support pattern must be decided by considering terrains, soil properties and construction condition of the objective tunnel.
