공작기계 기본설계를 위한 지능형 설계시스템 개발 (Development of Intelligent Design System for Embodiment Design of Machine Tools(I))

  • We present a framework of an intelligent design system for embodiment design of machine tools which can support efficiently and systematically the machine design by utilizing design knowledge such as objects(part), know-how, public, evaluation, and procedures. The design knowledge of machining center has been accumulated through interview with design experts of machine tool companies. The processes of embodiment design of machining center are established and represented by the IDEF0 model from the field surveys. We also introduce a hybrid knowledge representation so that the system can easily deal with various and complicated design knowledge. The intelligent design system is being developed on the basis of object-oriented programming, and all parts of a design object, machining center, are also classified by the object-oriented modeling.

  • Recently, the conventional concept of a machine-tool in manufacturing systems is changing from the target of integration to the autonomous manufacturing device based on a knowledge evolution. Subsequently, a machine-tool has been the subject of a cooperation through an advanced environment where an open architecture controller, high speed network and internet technology are contained In the future, a machine-tool will be more improved in the form of a knowledge evolution based device. In order to develop the knowledge evolution based machine-tool, this paper proposes the structure of knowledge evolution and the scheme of a dialogue agent among agent-based modules such as a sensory module, a dialogue module, and an expert system. The dialogue agent has a role of interfacing with another machine for cooperation. To design of the dialogue agent module in M2M(Machine To Machine)environment, FIPA-OS and ping agent based on FIPA-OS are analyzed in this study. Through this, it is expected that the dialogue agent module can be more efficiently designed and the knowledge evolution based machine-tool can be hereafter more easily implemented.

  • 연삭가공은 나노스케일(Nano-scale)의 미소한 입자 절삭날을 이용한 가공으로, 공작물의 표면을 경면(Mirror surface)으로 가공할 수 있어 제품의 최종 마무리공정으로 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 연삭공정에 있어서는 공구(연삭숫돌)의 수명이 다하거나 가공계(Machining system)가 불안정해지면 채터진동과 연삭버닝 등의 현상이 발생하여 가공물의 표면품위를 저하시키는 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 원통플른지 연삭공정을 대상으로 공작물에서 발생하는 음향방출 신호와 연삭기 주축 모터의 동력 신호를 연삭가공 중에 검출하고, 이를 신경회로망에 적용하여 연삭가공 상태를 진단하는 시스템을 구축하고, 그 성능을 평가하였다.

  • 제4차 산업혁명은 IoT(Internet of Things) 빅데이터(BigData) 인공지능 등 다양한 기술들의 융합을 통하여 스마트 공장(Smart factory) 구현을 목표로 새로운 산업화를 시도하고 있다. 스마트 공장 실현을 위해서 다양한 이종기계들 간의 유연한 데이터 교환 방법이 가능한 통신 기술이 필요하고 표준 기술을 기반 생산 장비의 확장성이 고려될 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이종기기를 포함하는 다수의 생산 설비로부터 데이터를 수집 및 통합하고, 모든 생산 장비를 감시할 수 있는 MTConnect기반 이종 공작기계 상태 정보 및 가공 정보 관리시스템을 제안한다. 개발된 시스템 기술은 유연 자동화 생산 라인의 핵심 기술로서 오류 검출, 가공 상태 관리 등 무인 자동화 라인의 중요한 정보를 제공 및 관리하는 기술을 제공할 수 있다.

  • Interactive Measuring part Program Generating Tools (IMPPGT) realized on the FANUC 15MA using touch trigger probes and interactive macro functions os the CNC were developed for an intelligent measuring and inspection systems on the machine tools. Menu driven measuring and inspection functions of the IMPPGT were studied and implemented on the CNC through the macro executer and ROM writer. In order to automate measurement and inspection procedures in machine shops measuring G Code system was also proposed. Using the developed measuring G Code system on the machine tool untended measurement and inspection operation was able to be realized in FMS lines.

  • dynamic modelling method is applied to the driving simulation which has the calculable model of engine, transmission, vehicle. And driving pattern is used for database by actual tests and analyzed in neural network system. The simulation is compared to real test results and structures to the tracked vehicle powertrain.

The Geometry Prediction of Back-bead in Arc Welding

  • This research was done on the basis of assumption that there is a relationship between welding parameters and geometry of the back-bead being a gap in arc welding. Multiple regression analysis was used as method for predicting the geometry of the back-bead. The analysis data and the verification data were used for the formation of multiple regression analysis. The method was used to perform the prediction of the back-bead.
