This paper has analyzed contents of copyright education in Informatics textbook in middle school curriculum and has proposed ways to enhance copyright education. In this paper, we have analyzed Informatics curriculum, authorized textbook, and teacher's guide book for middle school revised in 2007 and have extracted contents and systems of copyright education in Informatics course. We examined studies on the copyright education and analyzed on the basis of interest, understanding, usage, and practice of copyright. As a result, copyright education has turned out to be focused on 2nd level of information society and information technology. We found that copyright education was necessary both directly and indirectly in various parts and levels in that it is an optional subjects. This paper suggests the possibility of copyright education in Informatics curriculum for middle school and the copyright education is expected to be reinforced.

According to the 2007 national curriculum amendment, new 'informatics' textbooks have been used since 2010 as a textbook for middle school first graders and will eventually be used in other grades. However, only a few studies that have evaluated the 'informatics' textbooks, have been performed. What is worse is the fact that none of the evaluating tools even exist. Therefore, we propose the criteria of selecting 'informatics' textbooks in middle school. Its contents can be summarized as follows: First, this paper classifies previous studies on textbook evaluation into general criteria of selecting textbooks, method of textbook analysis based on how inquisitively students can learn and previous studies which analyzed existing secondary school 'informatics' textbooks and propose the criteria of selecting 'informatics' textbooks in middle school. Second, using the proposed selection criteria for 'informatics' textbooks and other evaluation criteria, five kinds of informatics textbooks were analyzed. Furthermore, it is expected that we can use the selection criteria as a material to choose the new 'Information science' textbooks, and to suggest alternative directions of future studies in the area of evaluating 'Information science' textbooks.

제17차 교육과정에서는 ICT 활용교육을 기본적인 정보소양 능력을 바탕으로 학습 및 일상 문제해결에 정보통신 기술을 적극적으로 활용하여 자연스럽게 학생들의 정보소양을 함양시키도록 함에 따라 이러한 웹기반의 ICT 활용교육에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 지금까지의 중학교 컴퓨터 교과의 ICT활용교육에 대한 연구는 각종 멀티미디어나 웹기반 교수-학습매체들의 개발을 강조하였으며 실질적인 활용방안에 대한 연구는 미비하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 중학교 컴퓨터교과의 ICT활용교육에 대한 중학교 컴퓨터교과의 실태를 분석하여 자기주도적 학습을 위한 문제해결력 향상에 대한 교수-학습모형을 제시하고 웹 기반 교수학습매체를 개발하여 학습의 효과와 학업성취도를 평가하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze common inquiry tasks of middle school history textbooks and find out it's implications on teacher librarians' educational information services. There are 84 common inquiry tasks according to examinations of inquiry tasks related to world history in 18 kinds of middle school history textbooks. Results of the analysis show that almost all of common inquiry tasks of world history make middle school students who should resolve them research the pictures and reading materials included in the textbooks individually and verbalize under the information literacy process. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills" for middle schools, the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce history studies teachers' burden of running the class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of information analysis and interpretation, synthesis and organization and evaluation of their information literacy process and results.

The purpose of this study is to verify learning components to be taught in each grade of middle schools, to propose hierarchical structures on algorithm content, and to resolve overlapping across related subjects. In order to verify learning components, four criteria were proposed. To evaluate practical application, they were implemented into The Proposal of Curriculum Revision on Computer Education in Middle School on MPE website. It was found that there was content overlapping between 'problem solving methods and procedures' in the middle school Informatics Curriculum and 'regulation and problem solving' in the Elementary Mathematics Curriculum. So it is needed to find a way to differentiate the contents of 'problem solving methods and procedures' from the other related subjects.

At the Information Age, the significant influence of computer education taking role of computer literacy education as well a information literacy education has been magnified. Since 2000, the 7th curriculum reform has been influenced on Korean education system. Therefore, this paper suggests to implement in textbook duvelopment of cumputer education based on the 7th curriculum reform focused on middle school education. It includes the design of textbook, its contents and organization, various teaching-learning situation method, and evaluation including real situational problems fashioned to the educational paradigm shift.

중학교 기하교육의 목적은 학생들의 수학적인 상황을 보는 기하학적인 직관과 논리적 추론능력의 향상이다. 그러나 이 두 가지 모두 만족스럽지 못한 실정이다. 본 고에서는 중학교 기하교육의 문제를 직관기하와 형식기하의 단절이라는 보고, 직관기하에서 증명의 학습요소를 미리 학습하여 직관기하와 형식기하를 연결하자는 대안을 제시한다. 이를 위해 7-나 교과서의 증명요소를 분석하고자 하였다. 관련문헌을 검토하여 7가지 증명의 학습요소를 선정한 후, 교과서를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 기호화를 제외한 다른 증명의 학습요소는 매우 빈약한 것으로 나타났다. 직관기하 영역에 대한 교과서 구성이 개선될 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다.

There exist many differences between the revised Informatics curriculum in 2007 and the current Informatics curriculum in junior-high school. The revised Informatics curriculum emphasized on the computer science principles and problem solving ability instead of the application program usage. Since the revised Informatics curriculum introduces a new section called 'Problem-solving methods and procedures', which is not included in the current computer curriculum, the development of achievement standards and assessment standards were needed in this section. This paper developed the achievement standards and assessment standards in 'Problem-solving methods and procedures' section in order to give the guideline of the teaching strategies and evaluation methods in the revised Informatics curriculum.

The purpose of this study is to analyze inquiry tasks of textbooks in middle schools social studies under the information literacy process and find out teacher librarians' educational information service on the side of information literacy education. Results of the analysis show that middle school students who carry out the inquiry tasks of social studies should select sources, seek its' related information and create their products through writing reports or presentation. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills", the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce social studies teachers' burden of class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of suitable materials seeking strategies for solving their task, understanding and synthesizing the information and evaluating their process and result. Therefore, it is necessary to activate collaborative teaching between the teacher librarian and the social studies teacher based on the information literacy.

In this study, the contents of the revised curriculum in 2007 for the area of 'Information Society and Information Technology' in 'Informatics subject matter for middle school have been analyzed. In addition, evaluation standards have been suggested based on the achievement standards, which have been detailed according to the analyzed results in the study. Since the suggested achievement and evaluation standards have been developed based on the revision of the curriculum, the results in this study are expected to be helpful especially in 2010 for teaching and learning activities such as setting up the educational objects for teaching and learning, developing evaluation methods, improving the teaching and learning methods, setting the level and range of teaching and learning area, and etc.
