This study compares the parafovea preview effect of adolescent group and adult group with different ages using eye tracking experiment. Also, this study confirms that the starting point parameter of the one boundary diffusion model can explain the data obtained through eye tracking experiments. In two experiments, parafoveal information processing was examined using the boundary technique. In Experiment 1, reading times were compared between the conditions given high frequency words preview versus masking preview. In Experiment 2, the condition in which low frequency words were given to parafovea preview information and the condition in which parafovea preview was masked were compared. We found that both the adolescent group and the adult group showed a parafovea preview effect. Also, first fixation, single fixation, and gaze duration of the two groups were different based on the word property shown in the parafovea. The first fixation data obtained in the two experiments were divided into quantiles and fitted into one boundary diffusion model. From the results, we argue that the parafovea preview information processing in the reading was described as the starting point parameter of the one boundary diffusion model.

혁명과 퇴폐라는 양극적 문화형태는 어디까지나 중심이 아닌 주변문화의 형태인 것이다. 그렇다면 중심은 없고 주변문화만 왕성했던 지금까지의 청년문화는 어떤 방향에서 중심문화를 잡아나가야 할 것인가가 이제 과제가 된다. 중심 없는 주변문화의 극성은 청년문화의 실종인 동시에 우리 모든 문화의 구조적 취약점이다.

This paper focuses on the relationship between center and periphery by discussing the circulation of rare resources, such as bronze, stamped hard pottery, and proto-porcelain. The discussion includes two parts: the internal Shang culture region and the region outside of Shang. Within the Shang culture region, all the resources mentioned above were brought from different places to the Panlongcheng site and then transferred to Zhengzhou Shang city. On the other hand, they also produced and consumed the resources in a special way, which indicates a certain degree of independence. Outside the Shang region, bronze products and maybe even raw copper resources were circulated from Zhengzhou Shang city to the Chengyang site, while stamped hard pottery and proto-porcelain were transferred to Zhengzhou through the Panlongcheng site. Resource circulation was bi-directional. Thus, this resource circulation was one of the key factors to building the relationship between center and periphery.

The newly adopted Korea Geodetic Datum (a.k.a. KGD2002) calls for massive reengineering work on geospatial dataset. The main focus of our study is placed on the strategy and system implementations of the required data reengineering with a keen attention to integrated approaches to interoperability, standardization, and database utilization. Our reengineering strategy includes file-to-file, file-to-DB, DB-to-file, and DB-to-DB conversion for the coordinate transformation of KGD2002. In addition to the map formats of existing standards such as DXF and Shapefile, the newly recommended standards such as GML and SVG are also accommodated in our reengineering environment. These four types of standard format may be imported into and exported from spatial database via KGD2002 transformation component. The DB-to-DB conversion, in particular, includes not only intra-database conversion but also inter-database conversion between SDE/Oracle and Oracle Spatial. All these implementations were carried out in multiple computing environments: desktop and the Web. The feasibility test of our system shows that the coordinate differences between Bessel and GRS80 ellipsoid agree with the criteria presented in the existing researches.

본 논문에서는 영상을 자동적으로 객체와 비객체 영상으로 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. 객체 영상은 객체를 포함하는 영상이다. 객체는 영상의 중심 부근에 위치하고 주변 영역과는 상이한 칼라 분포를 가지는 영역들로 정의한다 영상 분류를 위해 객체의 특징에 기반하여 세 가지 기준을 정의한다. 첫 번째 기준인 중심 영역의 특이성은 중심영역과 주변 영역간의 칼라 분포의 차이를 통해 계산된다. 두 번째 기준은 영상 내의 특이 픽셀의 분산이다 특이 픽셀은 영상의 주변영역보다 중심 부근에서 더욱 빈번하게 나타나는 상호 인접한 픽셀들의 칼라 쌍에 의해 정의된다. 마지막 기준은 객체의 핵심 영역 경계에서의 경계 강도이다. 영상을 분류하기 위해서 신경 회로망 학습을 통해서 세 가지 기준들을 통합하도록 한다. 900개의 영상들에 대해 실헝한 결과 84.2%의 분류 정확도를 얻었다.

이 연구에서는, 움직임이 커서 확실하게 움직임의 변화를 확인할 수 있는 입 주변의 움직임보다 움직임이 세밀하고 다양해 표현하기가 까다로울 수 있는 눈 주변의 움직임에 있어서 눈 주변의 세밀한 움직임의 근육을 잡는 것과 움직임의 기준정, 또 타겟들의 적절한 조합이 중요한 요소가 된다고 보고 절기에 근거를 두어 블렌드쉐이프를 적용하여 표정 타겟을 만들어 눈 주변의 표정에 대한 연구를 하여 3D얼굴 애니메이션에 적용시키는 방법으로 페이셜 애니메이션 중에서도 눈 주변의 움직임을 중심으로 제안한다.

In the process of reading, readers can process information not only within the fixated region, known as the fovea, but also in the parafoveal region to the right of the fovea. While the parafoveal semantic preview effect has been confirmed in eye-tracking experiments using boundary techniques, research on how the parafoveal preview effects differ depending on the degree of semantic relatedness is still limited. This study investigates the parafoveal preview effects as a function of semantic relatedness with the target word. The experiment utilized Korean-Chinese bilinguals and presented mixed-language sentences as experimental stimuli. Four parafoveal preview conditions were applied to the target words in each sentence: (1) Korean identical condition, where the parafoveal word was the same as the target word (e.g., "나라," meaning "country" in English), (2) Chinese synonymous condition, where the parafoveal word had the same meaning as the target word (e.g., "国家," also meaning "country" in English), (3) Chinese semantically related condition, where the parafoveal word was semantically related to the target word (e.g., "政权," meaning "political power" in English), and (4) Chinese unrelated condition, where the parafoveal word was semantically unrelated to the target word (e.g., "围裙," meaning "apron" in English). The study explored the parafoveal preview effect in terms of the degree of semantic association with the target word. We found the most pronounced preview effect in conditions where the preview and the target word shared the same meaning, and we also observed preview effects in conditions where the semantic relatedness with the target word was relatively weak. This study suggests that the degree of semantic relatedness between the parafoveal preview word and the target word can influence readers' reading processes. It contributes to a better understanding of readers' eye movements and comprehension processes, with potential implications for the development of effective reading strategies and educational methods.

본고에서는 TDX-1의 주변정합장치로 구성되는 가입자 회로, 애널로그 중계회로, 디지틀 중계회로의 기능 및 설계에 대한 특성과 측정 결과를 중심으로 기술하였다. 또한 TDX-1시스팀의 현장운용중 발생되는 가입자 서비스 및 운용자 불편사항을 수집 분석하여 현재의 정합장치에 대한 설계 검토 보완과 향후 TDX-10의 주변정합장치 개발에 활용토록 할 예정이다.

주변국들의 군사혁신 추세는 현존하는 북한의 위협과 함께 한반도 주변의 안보환경을 매우 불안정하게 하고 있다. 우리는 주변강국의 군사혁신 추세를 대칭적으로 따라잡기는 어려우므로, 작지만 정보화, 과학화, 정예화된 당찬 군사력을 확보하고자 우리의 현 능력을 최대한 활용하여 정보통신 및 전장관리체제, 해상.해중.항공전력별 무기체계 발전, 부대구조의 재편성 및 전력운영개념의 발전분야를 중심으로 지혜로운 군사혁신을 추진해야 할 것이다.
