Evaluation of Waterway Dredging Work using Spud Dredge Process Management System (스퍼드 준설선 공정관리시스템을 이용한 항로준설작업의 평가)

  • The most important point when we engage on waterway dredging work is supplying safe navigational passage to the vessels underway by narrowing dredge work area and removing submerged dangers. In order to meet this end it is necessary to use auxiliary equipment for shifting actively and mooring and adopt automation of dredging work by integrating information on real time position, dredging depth, and work information. The dredger with a spud control system in this study, by the way, is able to employed on continuous dredging work with the narrowest working area allowing wide and safe passages to vessels underway, by moving the dredger to the working zone with the spud controlled automatically. Furthermore, it has been improved definitely compared with the existing dredging process management system such that it shows the track of spud and working depth on the electronic navigation chart of window, together with the final outcome of dredging work. The test dredging work at the entrance of Busan North Port for system evaluation showed that actual working time available was twice of the one by the existing anchor system, and that it reduced $38\%$ of time for preparation work and one man power.

  • Efficiency of dredging work depends on the types of equipment used, the sediments encountered, whether the work to be performed is new or for maintenance, pre and/or post hydrographic surveying and so forth. Among those, surveying accuracy which is directly determined by the control of the dredge's position and depth surveying accuracy being surveyed at the dredging point are important factors. The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated process management system for pump dredge. The system is composed of 4 sub-systems such as LADGPS for dredge positioning dredging point determination, tidal gauge and angular depth sensor for depth determination, and GIS and ENC process management. The process management system for pump dredge developed was installed on the pump dredge "EUNJIN PD-2" but is now producing work data for comparison with performance of the existing dredge. The data retrieved from the pump dredge process management system up to now shows similar result from the grab dredge management system which was developed previously. It is easy to operate, achieves good accuracy with only 45cm unevenness, reduces working perioa by 20 percint,. More precise evaluation of the system comes later after the dredging work is completed.completed.

  • 본 논문에서는 도로 지하에 매설되어 있는 2m${\times}$2m 정도 규격의 박스형태 암거의 좁은 공간에서 원활하게 준설작업을 할 수 있는 준설시스템의 개발을 하고자 한다. 준설시스템의 작업과정은 지하에 매설된 암거의 내부를 �렵罹만� 원격 조정하여, 오염된 슬러지 준설 작업을 수행하는 준설기와 슬러지를 지상으로 반출하는 유압식 듀얼 이송스크류 슬러지 배출 차량 및 지상으로 반출된 슬러지의 수분을 제거하는 슬러지 탈수 처리 장치로 구성되어 있다.

  • 연안이나 하천 등에서 공사 시 준설작업으로 인해 많은 양의 부유토사가 발생되며 발생된 부유 토사의 이송 확산은 수환경에 변화를 초래한다. 따라서 준설작업에 있어 부유토사물의 이송 확산 범위를 사전에 예측하고 대비책을 세우는 것이 중요하다. 부유토사는 준설작업 시 Cutter Head가 해저면에 닿는 순간부터 작동을 멈출 때까지 계속하여 발생하며, 이러한 과정들이 반복되면서 많은 양의 토사가 발생한다. 이렇게 발생한 부유토사는 수체흐름에 따라 움직이는데 조류가 있는 연안에서는 시간에 따라 흐름이 달라지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 2차원 수치모형인 RMA2, RMA4를 이용하여 부유토사의 확산과정을 모의하고 준설현장에서 부유토사흐름을 실측하여 비교하였다.

  • In this paper, we develope the bucket driven dredger for sludge treatment in box type culvert. The dreadger is opererated in $2m\;{\times}\;2m$ box type narrow culvert under the road, and controlled using remote controller on the remote zone. In order to operate under dangerous environment, we develope the bucket drived dredger, and we will commercialize the result.

  • 최근 해양에너지플랜트 및 도서지역을 연결시키기 위한 해저 파이프라인 및 통신, 전력 케이블 매설공사가 빈번하게 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 연안항로를 가로지르는 해저케이블 매설공사에는 준설장비를 동원하여 해저부를 굴착하고 케이블을 부설한 후 상단을 덮어 보호하는 일련의 작업과정이 행해지며 이 과정에서 해저저질의 상태, 준설심도, 조류 또는 연안류의 흐름강도, 수심, 통항선박 등 다양한 조건에 따라 단면의 굴착심도 및 폭이 결정되며, 작업의 순서 또는 방법에 따라 여굴의 정도도 변하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 서해안 실제해역에서 연안 도서를 연결하는 전력, 통신망의 개통을 위한 해저케이블 부설과 관련한 굴착단면의 실태를 실제 현장여건과 관련해서 적정단면과 준설물량의 산정을 다루어 해저환경변화에 대처하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대상해역에서 주요설계 지침에 따른 해저부 굴착단면의 평가와 적정단면을 검토하였으며, 이 단면에 따른 준설 적정물량을 산정하여 작업공정에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 근래 소규모항만이 흩어져 있는 연안도서해역에서는 빈번한 폭풍의 내습으로 신규 외곽시설을 포함한 항만정비사업이 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이들 항만의 경우 늘어나는 물동량에 대응하기 위해 수역시설 및 부두의 배치에 변화를 가져오고 일부 항만의 경우 만입구, 항내, 수로 등 특정해역의 준설이 다양하게 이루어지고 있어서 개발과 유지 준설에 따른 정온도의 검토가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 바람, 파랑상호간 간섭, 흐름과의 상호작용, 쇄파 및 구조물에 대한 반사를 반영하여 수치실험을 수행하고 특히 준설작업의 규모, 방향에 따른 정온도에서 결과에 차이를 나타내어 평면배치계획에 수정을 기할 수 있게 되었다. 수치실험에는 50면 재현빈도 심해설계파 내습시 영역을 광역, 중간역, 상세역으로 하여 네스팅 기법으로 개방해역조건을 반영하였으며 외곽시설에서 해수소통 개구부의 변화에 대한 영향을 분석하였다.

  • In order to perform scientific evaluation of dredge results, it is needed to construct the system which is able to manage and evaluate the work process by monitoring in real-time the dredge process such as dredge ship position, dredge depth and dredge volume. This research aims to develop the hydrographic dredge surveying system adding water depth measurement method to both precise positioning and navigation methods using GPS, which allows a high rate of measurement and long distances between the control point and dredging points, operate in all weather conditions, and does not require line of sight to points. We constructed Beacon DGPS-based hydrographic dredger guidance and position management system and developed the operation program which makes the dredge operation perform as monitoring work situation in real-time. It is expected that this developed system will be able to contributes to reducing ultimately the cost in hydrographic dredging or hydrographic construction industries.

A Study on Mixing Behavior of Dredging Turbidity Plume Using Two-Dimensional Numerical Model (이차원 수치모형을 이용한 준설 탁도플륨의 혼합거동 연구)

  • The numerical simulations were performed to analyze the advection-diffusion processes of dredging-induced turbidity plume using RMA2 and RMA4 models in Bunam reservoir, Seosan, Chungnam. Field survey was also performed to measure the turbidity using the multi water quality monitoring system (YSI6600EDS). In the field survey, the vertical and horizontal distributions of the turbidity were measured during the dredging operation in Bunam reservoir. RMA2 model was used to simulate the velocity distributions in both the whole domain and the 2nd part of Bunam reservoir. RMA4 model was also used to simulate the concentration distribution in only the 2nd part of Bunam reservoir, where the dredging work were conducted. The comparison of the simulation results with the field data for the advection-diffusion of the turbidity plume using the concentration ratio concepts shows that the numerical model can be applied to analyze the environmental impact of dredging works.
