In order to improve the problem of parking which is getting worse day by day, the municipality carries out a survey on the actual situation of the parking lot supply and demand periodically according to the related law. However, in the existing evaluation method, the parking demand that occurs under the condition that the demand is suppressed by the parking supply and regulation due to the limit of the survey method is investigated. In addition, the analysis is conducted only for the present year, and prediction and analysis of future parking problems are limited. Therefore, we propose a method to evaluate the status of parking supply and demand, which is differentiated to improve the problem of the existing evaluation method. As a result, comparing the existing method with the improved method, it can be seen that the improved evaluation method can be useful for establishing the long-term parking policy for the improvement of parking problems.

A parking facility choice model. which can be applied to analyze of the driver's parking behavioral changes in response to the local government's parking policy changes and to predict parking demand by the facility types, is developed. Under the context of the stated preference discrete choice model, socioeconomic variables and parking alternative characteristic variables are introduced as explanatory variables. A parking facility choice model for the shopping trip purpose is derived using multinomial logit model and nested logit model and the stated preference data collected in Taegu metropolitan area. The result shows that the sign of all the estimated parameters are logically consistent and the model's goodness of fit is reasonably good. As a result of the elasticity analysis of the model, the elasticity of parking cost is highest, and the elasticity of walking distance between parking place and the destination is higher than parking place searching and ingress time. This means that the parking places are supplied around the destination in the form of small-size parking place. The findings in this study is expected to provide a fundamental data for various short-term parking policy analyses and for parking facility's demand estimations.

The aim of this paper is to analyze parking characteristics and demand of A general hospital(A hospital) based on data on entries·exits in parking lot and to improve parking service to patients and visitors without building new parking spaces. To improve the quality of parking service we analyze average parking duration, parking turnover, peak hour, parking index and parking demand of A hospital. Using the results of this research we can improve parking regulations and operate a parking lot smartly. Other hospitals of similar size of A hospital can also refer to these results to improve parking service and build a smart parking system.

Conventional parking survey has been usually performed by a person, which has a lot of problems such as decreased mobility, data input error, longer time and expensiveness. Therefore, this study attempted to develop an automatic parking survey method using lately commercialized equipments that were highly efficient imagery interpretation equipments, GPS, and infrared lighting fixtures. In addition, this study developed a parking analysis software that enables to modify and save data, and analyze survey data by the automatic parking survey method. When parking survey is conducted using automatic parking survey method, surveying accuracy is influenced by the running speed of a surveying vehicle, the photographing angle of an imagery interpretation equipment, the gap between parking vehicles and the distance of a surveying vehicle to parking vehicles. Therefore, this study drew optimum conditions by testing on each items for accuracy improvement, and developed a parking analysis software for systematic storage and management of parking survey data, supporting the parking analysis and output the parking analysis result.

In spite of continuous implementation of the transportation demand management (TDM), the profuse use of car at the peak-time has caused chronic traffic congestion in the Seoul downtown area. This study makes a comparative analysis on the effectiveness of commuting cost subsidy system for public transit user with other policy instruments such as an increment in fuel tax and park cost. This study not only follows standard guidelines of stated preference methodology to guarantee objectivity, but also uses sample enumeration method and non-Parametric bootstrapping method to secure reliability of empirical results. As a result of empirical studies, the conversion effect of car to public transit is superior to other two Policy instruments. Also. an increment in fuel tax and park cost is income-regressive from the equity aspect in a wage bracket, but commuting cost subsidy system for Public transit user is Income-progressive As a fundamental research on commuting cost subsidy system for public transit user, this study is likely to Provide Policy-makers with quantitative information useful in establishing Public transport Policy to Promote the use of the public transit.

Attached parking lots installation criteria is determined by use, total floor area, etc. according to the Parking Lot Act and local government ordinances. However, with traffic demand increase inconvenience about use of culture and assembly facilities have been raised. When planning number of parking lots for cultural and assembly facilities, legal parking lots and unit parking lots are used, but this causes inconvenience and traffic problems on the surrounding roads, because reality and convenience are not considered. Therefore, this study intend to present an realistic number of parking lots calculating equation for movie theater in Gwangju Metropolitan City. After investigating number of parking lots, number of screens, number of seats, total floor area, bus route and illegal parking for a cultural facility in Gwangju Metropolitan City, prediction model for calculating number of parking lots was presented using SPSS regression analysis. As a result of comparing prediction model and unit method, the prediction model was be closer actual cumulative parking space, so prediction model verification was completed. Based on the model verified in this study, Realistic number of parking lots will be installed. However, due to limitations of research on specific areas, research on various facilities should continue in consideration of regional, population, and urban characteristics

This study will examine the social issues and consumer awareness of sharing parking through the method text mining. In this experiment, the topic by keyword was extracted and analyzed using TFIDF (Term frequency inverse document frequency) and LDA (Latent dirichlet allocation) technique. As a result of categorization by topic, citizens' complaints such as local government agreements, parking space negotiations, parking culture improvement, citizen participation, etc., played an important role in implementing shared parking services. The contribution of this study highly differentiated from previous studies that conducted exploratory studies using corporate and regional cases, and can be said to have a high academic contribution. In addition, based on the results obtained by utilizing the LDA analysis in this study, there is a practical contribution that it can be applied or utilized in establishing a sharing economy policy for revitalizing the local economy.

Recently, serious parking problems are occurring due to the difficulty of securing sufficient parking space, and it may lead to other traffic or social problems. In order to solve the parking problem in areas and districts beyond a certain range, a study on-roads and off-street parking lots reflecting regional characteristics is necessary. Therefore, this study establishing a parking demand calculation model for use as a basic study in establishing on-road and off-road characteristics. In order to conduct the study, Dong-fu, Daegu Metropolitan City was divided into dongs, and parking facilities and parking demand were investigated. The survey time was divided into daytime and nighttime on weekdays, and the types of vehicles were divided into three types: passenger car, small trucks and buses, large trucks and buses. As explanatory variables for calculating parking demand, the total floor area of buildings for each of six purposes was used, including detached houses, apartment houses, neighborhood living facilities, cultural and assembly facilities, business facilities, and sales facilities. As a result of the correlation analysis, among the six explanatory variables, the total area of neighborhood living facilities showed a significant correlation with on- and off-street parking demand. A regression analysis model was constructed using the total area of neighborhood living facilities as an explanatory variable, and statistically significant results were obtained.

일본의 국립공원정책을 참고하고 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 세 가지 측면에서 나타나는 문제점에 대한 개선방안을 제시해보면 첫 번째 보전적인 측면은 용도지구 및 공원구역의 전면적인 재조정, 두 번째 이용적인 측면은 교통, 주차시설의 확충 및 도로체계의 재조정, 자연학습공간의 설치 및 환경교육(해설) 프로그램의 개발, 세 번째 관리적인 측면으로 도립공원 재원확보, 관리 인력의 증원 및 전문 인력의 배치 등을 들 수 있다. 나아가 공원구역의 전면적인 재조정으로부터 지역주민들의 의견수렴을 충분히 거친 후 자연보존지구에 대한 보존대책을 수립한 다음 도립공원 해제방안도 적극적으로 고려하여야 할 것이다. 그러나 보다 중요한 것은 일본의 환경정책을 예로 들었듯이, 환경보전적 측면에서 오히려 역행하고 있는 현행 우리나라 자연공원 정책이 전환되어야 한다는 것이다. 이에 환경보전적 측면을 중시한 자연공원법의 조속한 개정과 생물다양성을 관점으로 한 자연공원정책이 전개되어야 할 것이다.
