  • In recent days, mart or department which have large parking lots provide service for finding parked cars using NFC and GPS technology. In case using NFC, users should directly tap NFC tag, and GPS does not work inside the parking garage. In this paper, garage parking indicator system using becoan served push notification is described. By using this system, users can automatically be aware where they parked car when they enter into the huge parking lot. This system overcomes the weakness of the existing parking indicator systems, such as using NFC tag system and using GPS system.

  • In the paper, we propose an intelligent automatic parking assist system. To realize an automatic parking, first, the prospective parking position and the location of a vehicle should be recognized. Second, the system should compute a path which introduces the parking position precisely with avoiding any obstacles. Third, the handle should be controlled so that the vehicle moves through the path. To calculate the location of the vehicle and its surroundings, the system applies the camera image method to transforming input images to the plane map. It also uses the inertial navigation method which recognizes the position and the direction of a moving vehicle by using a kinematic model of the vehicle. To generate a path of the vehicle, the simple path method and the Bezier spline method are tested. The divided arc method which generates multiple paths is also tested. We apply a method which makes the system choose the best path with multiple objective functions. We introduce the virtual road method, as a solution for the problem of mechanical time delay, to have the vehicle followed the designated path.

  • The final step of driving a car is parking, which is the most difficult part for people learning to drive. Parking in narrow parking spaces is difficult for both ordinary drivers and beginners. To solve this problem, the development of SPAS (Smart Parking Assist System), ACC (Automatic Control System) improves the convenience of drivers. In addition, parking assistance systems have been developed to recognize more accurately the surrounding environment to the driver using the ultrasound, camera, thermal camera, and radar. This paper proposes the reverse turning radius to process images as if the camera is located in the center of the vehicle regardless of the actual camera position. In addition, it generates the parking guidelines through verification using the vehicle.

  • IoT (Internet of Things) technologies have largely contributed to our smart living environment. The smart parking system is one of the prominent services that IoT supports. To identify the parked vehicles, the previous parking system use special identifying devices, the RFID tags carried by the users, and the high quality camera to recognize the vehicle license numbers. However, the previous methods cause cost inefficiency and unfriendly usages. To address these problems, we propose a smart parking system based on ultrasonic sensors and Bluetooth communication. The proposed system decides the available slots by using the sensor motes located in the parking spaces. Also it recognizes the location of the parked vehicle using Bluetooth RSSI between a Smartphone and the sensor motes. In addition, based on these converging technologies, it can support the parked routes of vehicles for users. To evaluate the implemented smart parking system, we applied the RSSI transform equations and the recognition rate for parked vehicles. As a result, the accurate rate of transformed distances could be measured.

  • Recently, the number of illegal parking is increasing as the number of cars are increasing. Especially, people who use residential parking permit program are in trouble because of illegal parking. The most typical example is that people who use residential parking permit are damaged in expense, etc and various social issues such as legal actions are caused by illegal parking. In this paper, we discuss about the arduino design for the system and uploading the location information to use the location information for a parking system.

  • Recently route guiding system using GPS is spread widely. In the parking management system of complex mall, RFID is mainly used to control status of parking lots. However, in a case that a vehicle only with RFID tag enters into small market-populated district with service of parking lots, there is no parking route guiding system optimized with information of real tine status of parking lots and the system only with GPS can't provide a function of using real time status of parking lots. This paper proposes a location recognizing method of RFID tag object for parking control system to integrated several parking lots in the business district and database-linked route guiding system optimized for parking. The proposed location recognizing method makes the search of optimized parking route possible by abstracting decoding order of tag and antenna number and recognizing direction of tag linked with database. Ihe implemented system that is composed of RFID tag, reader, middleware, server, parking lot clients and mobile clients shows that the proposed method works well and it will be useful for integrated parking control system.

  • This paper is a parking management system which uses mobile terminal equipment by the client. From the Web server, the client will be served about the information concerned with the location o( parking lot, parking time, and payment after accessing the parking management web site. After the sensor which is set in the parking lot perceives the information about the client's car, it will inform the client of the parking place. This system is designed to control the large and complex parking lot and serves a very convenient interface to the user.

  • 본 논문에서는 주차장의 주차 공간 정보와 블루투스 비콘 정보를 활용하여 IoT 기반 스마트 주차정보 시스템을 구현하였다. 주차장의 주차 센서는 주차 정보를 실시간으로 서버에게 전달하며 차량 운전자는 스마트폰 앱을 실행하고 주차장에 진입한다. 스마트폰은 그 주차장의 블루투스 비콘 신호를 이용하여 주차 위치를 자동으로 인식하며 주차하려는 층의 주차 정보를 한눈에 확인할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에는 무선 랜 기반 위치 추적 시스템을 이용하여 실내에 주차된 자동차 위치에 도달하기까지의 방향과 거리 정보를 제공할 수 있는 앱 어플리케이션 설계를 제안한다. 기존 WPS 기능에 삼각측량법을 더하여 정확도를 높이고 실내에 주차된 차량의 위치 관리가 용이하게끔 하는 것을 목적으로 두었다. 이를 위해 WPS와 전파의 세기를 이용한 삼각측량법을 적용하여 설계한 알고리즘을 제시한다. 프로그램 코드 개선 및 구체화는 해당 알고리즘을 가상 환경에서 구현하였다. 스마트폰의 동기화 센서를 이용하여 실시간으로 DB 서버를 접속함으로서 시간 차이로 인해 측정된 위치 정확성이 저하되는 문제를 보정하였다. 따라서 제안한 앱 어플리케이션은 GPS 통신이 불안정한 실내 및 지하에 주차된 자동차의 위치를 사용자가 찾아내는데 효율성을 제공할 수 있다.

  • With the advent of autonomous cars, we explored the problems which will soon arise while parking in car parks. These include structure of parking lot suitable for autonomous cars, finding the closest parking slot available, and navigation to the location. We provide an initial solution, wherein we use a central server and the graph of the parking lot to guide cars to the closest parking slots available. Our experiments have shown that the proposed method is effective for the controlled parking for self-driving cars.
