The purpose of this study is to suggest the developmental strategies of information literacy program based on the integrated topics to promote inquiry abilities of middle school students who take part in the free semester system. To that end, the content of the 2015 revised curriculum on a national level was analyzed to develop 6 inquiry themes that incorporate Korean, Social Studies, Music and Art. The instruction and learning guide were consisted of three stages of forming a background knowledge, researching and creating and evaluating the conclusion of the research. The detailed activities for research step were consisted of the four steps of recognition of the problem, information analysis and interpretation, compilation of information and evaluation for each activity. Among the themes "environment" and "appreciation" were applied to a public library and a middle school library as a trial. The trial application saw that students took an interest in programs that subject themes are link with various topics. They were also very satisfied with such programs.

This study indicates that it is necessary to have characteristic information the information experts recognize-that is to say, experimental and inherent knowledge only human being can have built-in into the system rather than to approach the information system by the linguistic, statistic or structuralistic way, and it can be more essential and intelligent information system. As this study proves that the cited primary legal information within the secondary legal information functions as the index which represents the contents of the text because of the characteristics of legal information, the automatic indexing in the secondary legal full-text databases can be possible without the assitance of the experts. In case of the establishment, amendment or repealing of law, change of index terms can be possible through revising the legal text cited in the secondary legal information full-text databases. Even when we don't input the full-text about retrospective documents, automatic indexing is also possible, and the establishment and the practice of expert knowledge and integrated databases are possible in case of the retrospective documents.

Based on the analysis of historical backgrounds and terms of Taekwondo, this study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of cataloging records related to Taekwondo in 53 national libraries of each country. The results are as follows. To begin with, while most of the Taekwondo-related records are concentrated in some specific national libraries such as the United States, Germany, Republic of China, United Kingdom, and Spain, there are four libraries that do not have one. Second, the title keyword of Taekwondo-related records was 93.5% for the term that directly meant Taekwondo and 6.5% for Korean martial art, Korean art of self-defense, and Korean karate etc. The frequency of materials by language is 38.7% for English and 8~9% for German, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean, respectively. The Roman translation for Taekwondo is 50.3% for 'Taekwondo', and 18.5% for 'Tae kwon do'. Third, the subject heading of Taekwondo-related records was 86.9% for 'Tae kwon do' or 'Taekwondo' etc. 7.6% for 'karate', 5.7% for general subject heading, and 12.0% for blank. This means that some national libraries misunderstand Taekwondo as karate.

This study analyzed the effects of comic book reading program on Korean proficiency and acculturation of youth with immigration background, by conducting a six-month reading program with five teenagers with immigration background. Ten comic books were selected from published by School Library Journal, based on the themes - that are related to the lives of youth with immigration background - and interests of participating teens. According to the literacy skills test conducted before and after the reading program, the participating teens' Korean proficiency has generally improved, particularly in the areas of interpretation and vocabulary. In terms of writing, grammatically incorrect sentences, phrases, and expressions have declined. Most participants showed stable adjustment to Korean culture, but one participant who felt still insecure of her ethnic identity deeply empathized with one of the characters of the books, and shared the difficulties of living as an outsider of a society. The participants of this research learned or rediscovered the joy of reading through this comic book reading program; at the end of the program, many of them expanded their interest in reading novels, books without any illustrations.

Object tracking in a real time image is one of interesting subjects in computer vision and many Practical application fields during the past couple of years. But sometimes existing systems cannot find all objects by recognizing background noise as object. This paper proposes a method of object detection and tracking using adaptive background image in real time. To detect object which is not influenced by illumination and to remove noise in background image, this system generates adaptive background image by real time background image updating. This system detects object using the difference between background image and input image from camera. After setting up Minimum Bounding Rectangle(MBR) using the internal point of detected object, the system tracks object through this MBR In addition, this paper evaluates the test result about performance of proposed method as compared with existing tracking algorithm.

This study suggests some ideas for improvement of mixing classification and illogical subdivisions arrangement of Statistics in Social Science and Mathematical Statistics in Natural Science on KDC. We investigate the characteristics, educational system, and curriculum of Statistics in Korea. Besides, we compare and analyze classification systems such as KDC, DDC, LCC, NDC and Research Fields Code by National Research Foundation of Korea. As a result, Statistics in Social Science is relocated and integrated with the subfield of Natural Science according to the academic background. Existing social statistics topics are subdivided into statistical research methods complementing social science research methods. The heading 'Probabilities, Statistical mathematics' in Natural Science is changed to 'Statistics', and the subdivisions are expanded and revised.

This study mark a high complexity of the field, which is further enhanced by the fact, that these discussions are transposed into religious education and professionalism research relating to religious education teachers. It seriously considers very unique semantics and practice of leadership emerge then, crosswise and as a background to the educational hermeneutics. Obviously, besides didactic implications, professional ethical implications in an elementary sense are also at play here. The researcher will proceed in four steps: Firstly, I examine aspects of professionalism theory, into which, secondly, professional ethical considerations are entered in their significance for the topic of leadership, then deepen this through discourse-theoretical considerations before finally, fourthly, perspectives are opened up.

The purpose of this study is to explore the meanings of the features of university students with regard to their smartphone usage in order to establish the culture of good smartphone use. In-depth interviews were conducted with nine university students. The collected data were analyzed qualitative method. As a results, five theme and 18 subthemes of characteristic of smartphone usage were identified. Those themes include 1. background of smartphone usage, 2. attachment to smartphone usage, 3. building of my own the world, 4. emergence of new human relation, 5. burden of smartphone usage. This study provided practical suggestions and follow studies for good smartphone usage.

In recent years, Korea's archives management is reestablished as an academic subject. This study presents the interdisciplinarity and the research trend of Archives management in Korea. For the study, 681 articles from Journal of Records Management & Archives Society of Korea and The Korean Journal of Archival Studies published between 2000 and 2015 is analyzed. In this articles, author's background (agency, job, discipline) and subject is extracted. Cross-tabulation analysis and network analysis are used as major methods. The summary of the study is as follows: First, there are distinct difference between two journals about researcher's backgrounds. Second, joint-research is gradually increasing and the majority of co-authors are belong to the university. Third, two journals show different research trend. Finally, each institution have different interest about specific subjects.

The importance of business ethics has been increased as time goes on. However, there are lacks of education and research in business ethics, domestically and internationally. Especially, in Korea, there are not many universities which teach business ethics as formal curriculum and there are not sufficient researches on business ethics. Also, the level of education of business ethics is only restricted to the type of case discussion and research of business ethics is focused only on one topic, corporate social responsibility which is only one of various and important topics in business ethics. Accordingly, as a qualitative research, this paper presents some directions that are essential to education and research in business ethics, discusses what has been educated and researched in business ethics, and proposes what are necessary for the future of education and research in business ethics. Based on this research, various researches which investigate various topics in business ethics are possible in the future.
