  • 급속한 도시화 및 지구온난화로 인한 집중호우로 홍수피해가 해마다 증가하고 있다. 홍수피해를 최소화하기 위하여 4대강 중심의 홍수예경보시스템이 구축되는 등 다양한 제도적 장치가 마련되고 있으나 중소하천이 분포되어 있는 도시유역에서의 홍수예측기능은 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 중소 도시하천에 적용 가능한 실시간 도시홍수예측서비스 시스템(Realtime Urban Flood Forecasting Service, U-FFS)을 개발하였다. 경기도 성남에 위치한 탄천을 대상유역으로 선정하고 실시간 강우 및 수위관측소를 설치하여 수문데이타를 수집하였으며 이를 바탕으로 수위예측모형을 구축하였다. 모형구축에는 이미 국내외 학계에서 그 정확도가 입증된 바 있는 Data-driven 모델의 일종인 ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System)를 이용하였다. 개발된 수위예측모형은 지정된 시간에 자동으로 작동 가능한 실행파일로 프로그래밍되어 최종적으로 홍수예측 웹서비스와 연동된다. U-FFS는 집중호우 발생 시 최종 유출구의 30분, 1시간, 2시간 후의 수위 예측값을 웹 상을 통해 제공함으로써 언제 어디서나 홍수예측 정보를 누구나 손쉽게 획득할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 시범운영 결과, 30분 및 1시간 후의 수위 예측은 정확도가 매우 뛰어났으며 2시간 후의 수위 예측의 정확성은 다소 떨어지는 것으로 확인되었으나 전반적인 홍수예측 판단에는 무리가 없을 것으로 예상된다. 본 시스템의 홍수예측모형은 생성 및 수정이 간편하여 그 활용성이 매우 높을 것으로 기대된다. 특히 안전함을 지향하는 각종 U-City나 홍수피해가 빈번한 도시유역에 적용하면 기존 시스템과 차별화된 실시간 홍수예측 서비스가 가능해져 홍수피해를 최소화할 수 있을 것이다. 취수구 직경 D의 3.3배를 벗어나지 않는다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.링 목적으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 영상수위계는 한강홍수통제소 관할의 전류, 청담대교 등 4개소 낙동강 홍수통제소 2개소, 지자체 등에 적용되었으며, 적용 결과 비교적 안정적이면서 정확하게 수위를 측정하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 기존 CCD 카메라 이외에 CCTV를 이용한 영상수위계를 개발하여 영상의 화질 개선뿐 아니라 하천화상 감시 기능을 강화하였다.소류의 섭취율은 높았다. 집단간의 상관도를 보면 교육별로 김치, 장아찌, 콩이 각각 p>0.5 수준에서 유의한 차가 없었고, 나머지는 유의한 차가 있었다. 연령별로는 멸치가 유의한 차가 없었고(p>0.5), 수입별로는 콩이 유의한 차가 없었다(p>0.5). 4. 영양지식(營養知識) 검토 가정생활(家庭生活)에 필요(必要)한 일반적(一般的)인 영양지식(營養知識)은 대체적으로 낮은 편이었다. 어린이 영양, 편식의 해로움, 비만증의 해로움, 임신부 그리고 수유부 영양에 대하여는 일반적으로 알고 있다고 하였으며, 그다음으로 이유기 영양, 어린이 발육에 필요한 식품, 식품과 영양소와의 관계, 우유의 성분, 노인영양에 대하여 잘 알고 있는 비율이 낮았으며, 인체의 영양소, 식단작성여부, 간식의 이론, 식품감별법에 대하여는 가장 낮은 비율을 나타냈다. 각 영양지식은 교육정도가 높을수록 영양지식이 높았고, 교육별 집단간의 유의한 차가 나타났다. The Survey of Housewives' Perception for the Development of Refrigerated Convenience Foods for Koreans (한국형 냉장편의식 개발을 위한 주부들의 인식 조사)

  • To provide basic information for the development of refrigerated convenience foods for Koreans, 492 house-wives residing in Seoul and Kyunggi Province were surveyed concerning satisfaction of buying precooked convenience foods, frequency of using them, preferred Korean dishes, and willingness to buy the convenience foods if they are developed. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS package program. The satisfaction mean score of the marketed precooked convenience foods was 2.73 out of 5 and the housewives were least satisfied with feed additives and sanitation factors. The factors affecting satisfaction in purchasing were sanitation, taste, variety of type, nutrition, price, and food additives for side-dishes sold refrigerated or at room temperature, and taste, sanitation, variety of type, price, nutrition, and food additives for frozen prepared foods in order respectively. The frequency of using the precooked convenience foods was generally low but that of using the pickled dishes, Jokbal Soondae, and frozen prepared foods was relatively high. The answer of 'the thought that meals should be prepared in households' was the primary reason for avoiding using the precooked convenience foods and 'no time to cook' was the most frequent answer among the reasons for using them. Currently, the precooked convenience foods were used for snacks mainly, but the usages to be expected to increase were for lunchbox, main dishes, snacks, side dishes, special occasions foods, and leisure foods in order. Based on preference and buying priority, the dishes needed to be developed as refrigerated convenience foods among Korean dishes were identified. The result showed that 'preference' was not consistent with buying priority and the housewives perceived the factor of 'convenience' more importantly than 'preference' in purchasing the convenience foods.

119 Rescuers' image of Citizens (일반시민의 119구급대원에 대한 이미지)

  • This study was analyzed the 119 rescuers' image of citizens to provide a fundamental material to improve 119 rescuers' image effectively. This research design was a descriptive study. Data were collected from November 9, 2011 to December 9, 2011, and analyzed by SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program. Among the 4 subcategories of the image, occupational image was found the highest value($3.17{\pm}0.36$), and the social image($2.81{\pm}0.48$) was found the lowest. There were statistical different between age($p$ <.001), occupation($p$ <.001), whether or not the emergency first response education is completed($p$ <.05), and whether or not 119 emergency service is received($p$ <.05). In the result of multivariate regression analysis, adjusted $R^2$ value was 0.120. The model fit 12.0%. Occupation (students, housewives and office workers) and those who completed emergency first response education were showed a positive image of 119 rescuers. There is a need to compare and analyze the image of 119 rescuers in accordance with whether or not 119 emergency service is received and the satisfaction with the emergency service under the control of the general characteristics(sex, age, occupation, economic level, etc.) of subjects.

A Study on the Present State and Activation Plan for the Home Economics Education from a Life-long Education Point of View (가정과 교육에서의 평생교육 현황과 활성화 방안)

  • The purposes of this study were to determine the relationship between school education for life-long education and home economics education. to analyze the present state of the life-long education programs through the school in terms of the home economics education, and to understand the role and obtainable qualification of the home economics teachers as the life-long education leader. The results of this study was intended to provide as fundamental materials for direction and plans for life-long education programs in terms of home economics educations. This study was conducted through the analysis of the literature on life long education and the working reports for-16 model schools nationwide for life long education. The results are as follows : 1. The objectives and contents for programs should be developed systematically on the relationship with society. 2. The structure of programs should be developed by characters of organizations, school levels, and regions. 3. Programs should be classified by the purposes and constructed systematically. 4. The subject of programs should be all the members of a family, not only house wives or female adults. 5. The compensation system should be followed for the home economics teachers participating on the program of life long education. 6. Various opportunities for education should be provided to the home economics teachers who want to obtain the qualification as a family-life educator.

Study on the Eating Habits and Practicability of Guidelines for Reducing Sodium Intake according to the Stage of Change in Housewives (주부의 나트륨 저감화 행동변화 단계에 따른 식행동 특성 분석 및 저나트륨 식사 방법의 실천용이도에 관한 연구)

  • This study was intended to investigate the sodium-related perception, dietary behavior, and practicability of methods for reducing sodium intake(RSI) according to the stage of change in consumers. The survey was conducted to 770 housewives, among them 553 subjects who answered the key questions for the stage of change were categorized into 'Maintenance (M)' stage (maintaining reduced salt intake for more than 6 months; n = 287, 51.90%), 'Action (A)' stage (maintaining reduced salt intake for less than 6 months; n=139, 25.14%), and 'Pre-Action (P)' stage (not starting reduced salt intake; n = 127, 22.97%). The subjects in M and A were significantly older than those in P (p < 0.01). The scores of desirable dietary habit and dietary balance were the highest in M followed by A and P. When eating out, the subjects in P considered 'price' more and 'healthiness of food' less than those in M and A did. Among the guidelines for RSI, 'Avoid Processed Foods', 'Eat enough vegetables and fruits' and 'Add little amount of dipping sauce for fried food' were selected as the three easiest items to perform. With regard to the sodium-related perception, the subjects in M considered eating-out food to be more salty than homemade dishes, read nutrition labels more, avoided table salt or dipping sauce for fried food more, and had 'own low-sodium recipe' than those in P (p < 0.001). It is suggested that practicability of actions for RSI and the stage of change should be considered to develop effective personalized education program and nutrition guidance.

Expenditure Behavior types of Urban Housewives (도시주부의 지출행동유형연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the expenditure behaviors of housewives into some types and to identify the characteristics of the types focucing on diverse expenditure behaviors of urban households. In this study it is assumed that the expenditure behaviors are classified by there factors-(1)the orientation of money saving (2)the orientation of time saving and (3)the orientation of others. The present study suggests following three questions. (1). Can the expenditure behaviors of urban housewives be classified according to the orientation of money saving the orientation of others? (2) What distictions exist among the types? (3) Which variables are useful in classifying the expenditure behaviors? For empirical analysis the data of the study was collected from 650 housewives living in Seoul. The statistical methods adopted for data analysis are frequency percentage mean Pearson's correlation coefficient factor analysis cluster analysis one way ANOVA Duncun's multiple ran e test and discriminant analysis. As the major findings 4 types were extracted, According to the level of each dimensions the names for the each type were given as "the type of attaching importance to money saving" "the type of attaching importance to time and appearance" "the type of attaching importance to money saving and time" "the type of attaching importance to money saving and time" "the type of attaching importance to money saving and time" "the type of attaching importance to money saving and appearance" In "the type of attaching importance to money saving" the significant portion of housewives have high school degrees and compared with other types this type includes more husbands having sales and service job 55% of housewives of "The type of attaching importance to time and appearance" have graduate or higher degrees. The significant part of earned incomes range from 3 million won to 5 million won. The rate of housewives employed in the professional job is higher than other types. In "The type of attaching importance to money saving and time" the rate of the employment of housewives in this type is the highest among the types. In "The type of attaching importance to money saving and appearance" the significant portion of housewives have graduate degrees. In the jobs of he spouses the management job is major. The consciousness of belonging to the middle class is higher than other types. In this type the level of education is high but that of income is not. The result of the discriminant analysis says that the earned income and the consciousness of belonging to a calss are the most critical variables to classify the expenditure behaviors into 4 type The accuray of the classification of the discrimination equation composed of these variables is 47,5% The accuracy is improved by 10%.

A Study on the Determinants of Housewives' Caregiving Behavior to Their Elderly Parents-in-Law : Estimation of Covariance Structure Models for Fathers-in-Law and Mothers-in-Law (노인부양행위의 결정요인에 관한 연구 : 시부 및 시모에 대한 공변량구조모형 분석)

  • This study is designed to find out the determinants of housewives' caregiving behavior to their elderly parents-in-law. For this purpose, a tentative path model, constructed with major socio-demographic variables in the caregiver's family as exogenous variables, is proposed to account for caregiver's behavior to elderly parents-in-law. The model is estimated with data collected from a probability sample of housewives in Kwangju, Korea. Estimation of the model, separately for caregiver's fathers-in-law and mothers-in-law, in terms of maximum likelihood(ML) procedures in LISREL8 reveals that housewives' educational attainment, father-in-law's age, father-in-law's health status, and family size have statistically significant causal. effects on care giving behavior to fathers-in-law, and that housewives' educational attainment, mother-in-law's age, family size, and caregiving attitude have significant causal effects on caregiving behavior to mothers-in-law. Comparison of the two estimated models indicates caregiver's educational attainment, caretaker's age, and family size are prominent determinants of caregiving behavior that can be commonly generalized to the two models. Except for these common determinants, however, a nonnegligible amount of differences is identified between the two models. The findings are discussed and interpreted with suggesting some salient theoretical and policy implications.

A Comparison of Growth Development and Nutrient Intakes between Double Income Families' and Full-Time Housewives' Preschool Children (맞벌이 가정과 전업주부 가정 미취학 자녀의 신체발달과 영양섭취상태 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the comparison of growth development, bone mineral density and nutrient intakes between double income families' preschool children(DIFPC) and full-time housewives' preschool children(FHPC). Subjects were 111 preschool children. Anthropometric characteristics and bone mineral density in right forearm were measured. The questionnaire was composed of health status, life style, dietary behaviors, and dietary intakes and was completed by the children's mothers. The average age of the DIFPC(n=60) was 53.02 months and that of the FHPC(n=51) was 54.80 months. The birth height and weight of the subjects were 50.47㎝ and 3.27㎏ for DIFPC and 50.85㎝ and 3.36㎏ for FHPC, respectively. The average height, weight, % body fat, and obesity index were 108.50㎝, 18.35㎏, 15.35%, 96.71% in DIFPC and 111.46㎝, 19.64㎏, 16.80%, 97.31% in FHPC, respectively. The bone mineral density in forearm of two groups were 0.24g/㎠ in all. The infant feeding method was significantly different between DIFPC and FHPC; 58.9% of DIFPC was fed formula, while 44.4% of FHPC was fed breast milk(p<0.05). Proportions of children for their regular meal were 59.4%, 89.6%, and 61.0% for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, respectively. The major reasons for irregular meal were lack of time and poor appetite for breakfast and snacks for lunch and dinner. Most of the children answered they have snack over once a day, and 60.0% have unbalanced diet. The intakes of energy, calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin B1, niacin, and vitamin C did not meet the Korean RDAs. The intakes of K and vitamin A for DIFPC were significantly higher than those of FHPC(p<0.05, p<0.05). In conclusion, double income families' preschool children more have a low frequency of breast feeding and low intakes of micro nutrients, such as K and vitamin A than full-time housewives' ones.

The Housewife's Current Use and Demand for Processed Rice Food Products (주부 소비자의 쌀 가공제품 이용실태 및 요구도 조사)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the current use and the demand for processed rice food products by full-time and working housewives in a metropolitan area. Out of 330 questionnaires distributed, 300 were analyzed(90.9% response rate). It was revealed that more than half of the respondents(54.0%) had used processed rice food products, regardless of their occupation. Most respondents stated that they used rice food products because of the variety of the products, digestibility and the taste. The development necessity for processed rice food products was analyzed, showing that rice cake(3.86), rice sauce(3.64), and rice cookie(3.89) had the highest score in each category. The average demand for education and promotion of rice food products was 3.89; among 7 items, menu recipe using rice flour was highly demanded(4.18) by the respondents. Approximately 43.0% of the respondents agreed that the internet is the most effective method for learning about rice flour cooking, and the respondents who have used processed rice food products(59.5%) were more likely to attend education programs compared to housewives who have not used processed rice food products (44.5%)(p<.05). Full-time housewife(59.4%) had a greater tendency to participate in the education program than working woman(44.4%)(p<.001). The findings suggested that various processed rice flour products with convenience to use and prolonged shelf-life will be needed.

Deterioration Assessment and Structural‐Reinforcement of Stone Lantern of the Four Guardian Kings in Beopjusa Temple, Boeun (보은 법주사 사천왕석등의 비파괴 훼손도 평가 및 구조보강)

  • The stone lantern of the four guardian kings in the Beopjusa temple at Boeun was mainly made of biotite granodiorite consisting of porphyritic-textured potassium feldspar and included in ilmenite series. A base stone made of alkali granite was buried, after founded its place during an earlier restoration process. Cracking and break out are noticeable on this object. In addition, discoloration, salt crusting, and epiphytes were observed. The lantern was vulnerable in terms of physical and structural stability caused by cracking in the front and back of the light chamber and in the non-horizontal direction. According to the conservational condition of the stone lantern, structural reinforcement was carried out based on calculations, including those on the position, size, and anchor length of the titanium stiffener. Chemical and biological pollutants were washed off without damage to the surface of the stone material. Oxygenated iron pieces were replaced with titanium. Ethyl silicate was applied to the surface of the lantern for consolidation and smooth drainage.
