This study was conducted to figure out measures to improve abandoned mine area residents' life satisfaction from the viewpoint of ecosystems. The subjects of this study were 195 residents aged at least 30 years and structured survey were used collected from April, 3, 2014 to 20. The levels of abandoned mine area residents' mental health were measured using the general mental health scale and the residents' life satisfaction was examined using a life satisfaction scale. The abandoned mine area resident's life satisfaction was a little higher than the middle and their future life satisfaction was shown to be the lowest. Out of the microsystemic factors, mental health degree contributing to the quality of life and those with lower depression and anxiety showed higher life satisfaction. None of the mesosysystemic factors, were not found to influencing the quality of life. Out of the macrosystemic factors were found to be mine area special law in influencing the quality of life. In order to improve the life satisfaction of the mine locals seem to need practical strategies related for maintaining a healthy mind and continued implementation of the economic revitalization policy.

The purpose of this study is to provide to alternatives to improve the relationship of local community resident of the rural-urban consolidation districts in analyzing the case of Jeollanamdo Suncheon city that has consolidated for around 10 years since 1th January 1995. The method of this study is to survey 335 number of Suncheon residents. The evaluation criteria about relationship of local community resident. used in this study were the unity of residents, the reconciliation of residents, and the satisfying degree of public administrative services. According to this survey. aspect of reconciliation of residents, access of administrative organ, unity of residents. satisfying degree of residents and administrative information are showed a little the positive effect. But locational preference of disgust facilities are appeared ordinary and negative sight.

This study examines Korea's revitalization policy on the ancient capital cities, which has been set out for preserving and improving living quality of the local communities. Since it was established, the policy has faced with constant challenges such as the lack of funding for preservation and revitalization of local communities. This study aims at providing a set of recommendation on the problems on the policy. In order for the study, it takes objective and empirical analysis on the problems of the policy by executing survey on the satisfaction level of the stakeholders and policy-makers on the present policy. The survey has displayed that the government needs to 1. subsidize more budget, 2. set out a policy to reduce the inconvenience of local communities 3. establish a supportive program to help the present promotion policy. In addition, the survey analysis has proved that the elements of revitalization policy affect to the increase of satisfaction. It concludes with a set of recommendation, 1. to secure sufficient budget to implement the policy; 2. to reduce a restriction of individual rights; 3. to promote the supporting program of local community; 4. to establish governance system with officers, experts, residents, and research institutes.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of local community resident-participation factor on the local community resident-participation determinant and the formation of social capital. Accordingly, questionnaire method was used for 389 residents in A-dong that have participated in community building projects in Busan region to analyze their demographical factor & residential area factor and local community resident-participation factors of satisfaction of neighborhood environment, satisfaction of administrative support, local attachment and neighbor connectedness effects. The analysis results showed that first, the satisfaction of outside support and neighbor connectedness were found to be the main factors. Second, the satisfaction of outside support, local attachment and neighbor connectedness showed meaningful effects in the state where these factors were controlled. Third, the effects of each social capital sub-element were verified and the results showed that while trust and network had meaningful effects on satisfaction of outside support, local attachment and neighbor connectedness effects, norm of reciprocity showed meaningful effects on gender, house ownership status, local attachment and neighbor connectedness, thereby showing differences. Based on these study findings, implications and suggestions were presented.

When the military before this study, soldiers and local people are dissatisfied with the elements, which satisfy the element that satisfies both parties to find out what could be the previous business that tries to propose measures to the Department of Defense. The results are as follows. First units on the previous business for the difference between soldiers and residents' satisfaction is as follows. Soldiers (3.75), the accountability (4.11) and effort, while important castle residents (3.33) the adequacy (3.64) and communication is of paramount importance in the satisfaction level of availability to be analyzed. Second, the relocation of troops on the Male and Female satisfaction on the differences are as follows. For men, military men (3.73) and accountability efforts, residents (3.40) the adequacy and availability critical deadlines while communicating the case of a woman soldier woman (3.85) the adequacy and close human relationship, social security (3.30) interest on the accountability and communication many to be analyzed. Third Position: Occupational differences in satisfaction are as follows: If a soldier's professionalism and accountability, and conflict from the outset of the adequacy of the officers, while the lowest was from the outset. If the efforts of residents and farmers who emphasize the responsibility and the least amount of conflict, while owners and tenants, operating the adequacy that were relatively important.

This study aims to investigate the factors influencing the life satisfaction of North Korean defectors in the ongoing situation of difficulties. Specifically, it examines the impact of the digital informatization level, and social capital on their life satisfaction and aims to verify the mediating effect of social capital in the relationship between the digital informatization level and life satisfaction. To achieve this, a structural equation model was utilized to validate the research model using data from 679 North Korean defectors who participated in the 2021 Report on the digital Divide. The research results confirm the direct influence of the digital informatization level and social capital of North Korean defectors on life satisfaction. Additionally, the study identifies the mediating effect of social capital in the relationship between the digital informatization level and life satisfaction. Based on these research findings, recommendations are proposed for enhancing the life satisfaction of North Korean defectors.

Residents of the municipalities in administrative services are recognized as active objects and active customers who purchase the public services. This study analyzes, by quantitative approach of surveys, the residents' awareness of the quality of five policy content areas. The results show that awareness of the quality of the five contents areas is substantially below average. Lessons and implications of this study for management leadership are presented.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between local residents and tourist groups in the relationship between the motivation for visiting and the satisfaction of Chung Nam Dae which is the leading tourist attraction in the Chungbuk region. We obtained 200 validated samples each of the local residents in Chungcheongbuk-do Province and the tourists from outside of Chungcheongbuk-do Province with experience of visiting Cheongnamdae through the survey using the questionnaire organized through literature research. The analysis result showed that the relationship between motivation and satisfaction varied depending on the overall sample, local residents, and tourist and that the natural relaxation and convenience had a positive impact on satisfaction in all groups. There was a difference in the influence between motivation and satisfaction between the two groups. Four motivational factors, including natural relaxation, convenience, historicity, and relationship had the significant influence on satisfaction for the local residents while two motivational factors, including natural relaxation and convenience, had the significant influence on satisfaction for the tourists. Based on the results of the study, we presented the theoretical and practical implications and suggested follow-up studies.

This study explores how social media influences individual's social development and well-being. Social media is discussed as an effective tool when individuals lacking social and psychological resources are trying to expand their social networks. This study focuses on the social media use of North Korean defectors, who, in general, have closed social media networks in the South Korean society. This study tries to analyze empirically the effect of social media use on North Korean defectors' satisfaction with our society. In particular, this study focuses on how the use of social media influences satisfaction with their life in South Korea at different levels of their emotional states. This study explores that the relationship between social media and satisfaction with their life in South Korea varies based upon the degree of self-esteem and anxiety. This study expects that social media might provide greater benefits for those who are experiencing low self-esteem and high anxiety. In addition, this study conducts the same analysis for the general public and then compares its results with the survey on North Korean defectors. According to the results of North Korean defectors' survey, the impact of social media use on satisfaction with their life in South Korea was greater for those with high anxiety than for those with low anxiety. Meanwhile, the impact was greater for those with high self-esteem than for those with low self-esteem.

The purpose of this study is to present policy implications for future urban regeneration projects by deriving factors that affect residents' life satisfaction by region. To this end, a survey was conducted and multiple regression analysis was conducted using the Changsin/Sungin-dong, Haebangchon, and Garibong-dong regions where the general type of neighborhood regeneration project of Seoul was conducted. As a result of the analysis, it was found that life satisfaction increased when autonomy among the local governance factors in Changsin/Sungin-dong and autonomy and network in Garibong-dong increased. When examining the factors of regional regeneration capacity for each region, in terms of local identity, landscape characteristics in all three regions had a significant effect on the life satisfaction of residents. In the case of local communities, it was found that the satisfaction with life of residents increased when individual competence in Changsin/Sungin-dong and participation capacity and relationship competence in Garibong-dong increased. In terms of local assets, natural and social assets in all three regions had a significant effect on the life satisfaction of residents. Therefore, it is judged that the relationship between the influence of residents' life satisfaction in the general type of neighborhood regeneration project for neighborhood regeneration will be a meaningful data in promoting the urban regeneration project.
