  • The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect eating disorder of female adolescents. Collecting data from 297 female adolescents, we carried out logistice regression on SPSS Win 20.0. The significant predictors of eating disorder for female adolescents were BMI, body-shape satisfaction, subjective body-fatness, experience weight control (diet control and exercise), self-control, and body esteem. The results of this study may help to design a school health nursing program which treats female adolescents eating disorder.

  • Objective : The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between subjective sleep problems and various types of traumatic events of patients with depressive disorder. Methods : A total of 411 patients diagnosed with depressive disorders were recruited in this study. The participants filled out Life Time Events Checklist (LEC), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). We used the independent t-test and analysis of covariance to compare each component of PSQI between depressive patients with and without traumatic experiences. Results : The groups of patients who experienced a serious accident at work, home or during recreational activity, sexual assault, other unwanted or uncomfortable sexual experience, life-threatening illness or injury, and sudden, unexpected death of a near and dear one showed lower scores in a few components of PSQI. Sleep disturbance was a common problem in all five groups. Lower subjective sleep quality and longer sleep latency was observed in three groups. There were no differences in the other components of PSQI among groups. Conclusion : This study showed that various types of traumatic events may have different effects on subjective sleep quality as a consequence of the traumatic event which they had experienced.

  • Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate the influence of field practice on subjective well-being and domains of life satisfaction in paramedic students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 143 paramedic students from March 5 to 31, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of subjective wellbeing, openness to experience, and domains of life satisfaction. The statistical analysis was done with SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: The number of field practice had a lesser influence on degree of life satisfaction and positive emotions. Field practice did not influence negative emotions. Those who were open to experience tended to have higher degrees of personal satisfaction and competence irrespective of field practice. Conclusion: Openness to experience can enhance the life satisfaction and competence against the stressful conditions paramedic students experience in field practice.

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between sleep quality and periodontal disease-related symptoms among Korean adolescents. Methods: This cross-sectional study was based on the 16th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey (2020). A complex sample logistic regression was performed to identify the relationship between sleep quality and periodontal disease-related symptoms after adjusting for all covariates. Results: In model II, to estimate the adjusted odds ratio (AOR) for all covariates, students who answered "not at all sufficient", indicating sleep quality, were at higher risk of experiencing periodontal disease-related symptoms than those who answered "completely sufficient" (AOR=1.58). As a result of subgroup analysis, for estimating the AOR adjusted for all covariates in boys, students who answered "not at all sufficient", indicating sleep quality, were at a higher risk of experiencing periodontal disease-related symptoms than those who answered "completely sufficient" (AOR=1.68). In girls, students who answered "not at all sufficient", indicating sleep quality, were at a higher risk of experiencing periodontal disease-related symptoms than those who answered "completely sufficient" (AOR=1.43). Conclusions: It is necessary to formulate health policies that can promote optimal sleeping habits and oral health behaviors among Korean adolescents.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify and present suitable recognition types of policy alternative for before and after response, according to the recognition types of problems in response to violence. Methods: This study investigated 36 EMT's of 17 cities and provinces nationwide. The study was approved by the Kongju National University Institute Review Board (KNU_IRB_2021-17). Data were collected from May 1, 2021 to August 30, 2021 and analyzed by Q factor analysis using the PC-QUNAL program. Results: Recognition types of the problem in 119 EMT's response to violence were described as "I type; lack of professional manpower," "II type; inadequate policy on violence," and "III type; lack of awareness on the emergency field." Recognition types of policy alternative on response to violence by 119 EMT's were described as "Itype; training and public relations oriented," "II type; work environment improvement," "III type; violence handling specialization demand," and "IV type; recovery support seeker." • In modern society, the amount of information has been significantly increased according to the development of Internet and IT convergence technology and that leads to develop information obtaining and searching technologies from lots of data. Although the system integration for medicare has been largely established and that accumulates large amounts of information, there is a lack of providing and supporting information for nursing activities using such established database. In particular, the judgement for the intervention of pains depends on the experience of individual nurses and that leads to make subjective decisions in usual. In this paper, a pain nursing supporting method that uses the existing medical data and performs collaborative filtering is proposed. The proposed collaborative filtering is a method that extracts some items, which represent a high relativeness level, based on similar preferences. A preference estimation method using a user based collaborative filtering method calculates user similarities through Pearson correlation coefficients in which a neighbor selection method is used based on the user preference.

  • We examine the effects of the self-reported subjective and the objective health indexes on work compensations. The compensations consist of monetary factors, such as wages, and non-monetary factors reflecting job risks such as the workplace accidence. The wages and workplace injuries are clearly affected by gender and age differences as the subjective and objective health factors of elderly workers are combined with physical and systematic work environments. Mental health problems such as work depression are more serious especially for high income elderly groups. The elderly workers experienced with physical problems and chronic illnesses are led to the decrease in wages and the increase in safety accident risks at work sharply. Therefore, we need to provide supporting services, retirement planning designed by companies, supported by the government enhanced risk working conditions and the weakness on protecting jobs.

  • To do this, study of human memory and theoretical approach on form in general is carried out to compare the types of memories and the stage of perceive theoretically to discover the relationship between psychological perceive and form. In the second please, scenario of form recognition in cultural aspect is studied through various written records to obtain unbiased critics on what a person can feel from a form through various analysis and experiment. Examples will be given on products designed on the basis of correlation with form through analysis. Through this procedure, elements of reactions on implicit and explicit is derived (Data obtained from experiments on computers and inquiries are used) Analyzed elements are than divided into, general knowledge, memories of reality and subconsciousness memories and basic mental image and user mental image and mental image of form of each products are analyzed. In the third phase, the way of adapting of the elements obtained from the analysis of implicit and explicit reaction to the field of design is predicted. Together with this, future theme this the study will be suggested. Confusions obtained from this study can be listed as below.

  • This study explore nonlinear relationship between volunteer time spending and psychosocial well-being among the old adults, on the ground of Socioemotional Selectivity Theory. This is secondary analysis using the 2009 National Old Aging Volunteer Survey data including 645 cases. The simple and multiple line graph method are implemented. As a result, this paper shows a nolinerar relationship which the low level of psychosocial well-being at non volunteer status is increasing to the paticular time spending, and then decreases after high level participation like U-shape. Male, over the 75 and not good health status has showed lower level of volunteer time spending. It can be founded that volunteering activity contributes to improve a psychosocial well-being in old life, but the desirable volunteer time spending is medial about 100-200 yearly not over the 700.
