This study identified the relationship between perceived mother-grandmother conflicts and subjective well-being among multicultural children, and examined the double mediating model of acculturative stress and adjustment to school life on that relationship. Participants were 205 male and female adolescents living at J county in Gangwon-do. PROCESS Macro 3.5 Model 6 was used for analysis of a double mediating effect. Results revealed that perceived mother-grandmother conflicts was positively correlated with acculturative stress of multicultural children, and negatively correlated with adjustment to school life and subjective well-being. And, acculturative stress of multicultural children was negatively correlated with adjustment to school life and subjective well-being, whereas adjustment to school life was positively correlated with subjective well-being. This study found that acculturative stress and adjustment to school life were sequentially mediating perceived mother-grandmother conflicts and subjective well-being of multicultural children. These findings suggest that the perceived mother-grandmother conflicts might cause multicultural children to experience acculturative stress, and as a result, their subjective well-being level might be reduced due to their low adjustment to school life.

탐색 시스템(Navigation System)의 디자인은 사이트 개발과정 중 가장 까다로운 부분이다 이유는 탐색 시스템의 디자인이 상당히 주관적이고, 유용성(Usability)을 중시하기 때문이다. 따라서, 탐색 시스템은 개발자가 아닌 사용자(User) 입장에서 접근되어야 하고, 이것을 위해서 개발자는 사용자가 무엇을 요구하는지를 알아야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자들이 웹을 이용하는 목적을 토대로 웹사이트를 3가지의 그룹으로 분류함으로써 사용자의 요구를 이해하고, 각각의 그룹에 대해 탐색 시스템의 디자인 가이드를 제시하고자 한다. 이 논문의 내용은 웹사이트 개발자가 탐색 시스템의 유용성을 높이는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

"정부의 규제 개혁과 원자력 안전 규제의 효과성"을 주제로 한 2008년 제1회 원자력안전포럼이 6월 5일(목) 한국원자력안전기술원 본관 세미나실에서 개최되었다. 발표자들을 포함하여 과학기술부, 녹색연합, 월성원전 환경감시센터, 한수원(주), 원자력발전기술원, 한수원 원자력교육원, 한전KPS, 한전기술(주), 원자력안전기술원 등의 관계자 총 60여명이 참석한 본 포럼은 원자력안전기술원 안전정책실에서 기획 주관하였으며, 원자력안전기술원 장현섭 박사와 박윤원 박사가 진행을 담당하였고, 최광식 박사가 전체 발표 내용과 종합 토의 내용을 요약 정리하였다. 본 특집은 포럼 발표 내용을 발표자의 집필로 구성한 것이다.(편집자)

삼부토건(주)은 우리협회 주관으로 지난 2월 22일부터 25일까지 3박 4일간 경주 콩코드 호텔에서 안전관리자, 관리감독자 직무교육을 실시했다. 삼부토건(주) 김명조 부사장을 비롯해 김진수 총무이사, 김상귀 영업담당이사의 특별 강연도 있었던 이번 직무교육에서 삼부토건(주) 안전관리자와 관리감독자들은 결의문을 통해 안전 최우선 무재해 삼부토건(주)을 만들어 나감에 솔선수범할 것을 다짐했다.

Video abstraction is a process to pick up some important shots on a video, while the important shots might vary on the persons subjectivity. Previous works on video abstraction use only one low level feature to choose an important shot. This thesis proposes an abstraction scheme that selects a set of shots which simultaneously satisfies the desired features(or objective functions) of a good abstraction. Since the complexity of the computation to find a set of shots which maximizes the sum of object function values is $0({2^n})$, the proposed .scheme uses a simulated annealing based searching method to find the suboptimal value within a short period of time. Upon the experimental results on various videos, we could argue that the proposed abstraction scheme could produce a reasonable video abstraction. The proposed abstraction scheme used to build a digital video library.

The purpose of this research is to explore the explanatory factors of preference for the universality of the welfare system at the time of expanding the welfare system. In particular, considering endogenous problem that may occur in the process of analyzing the causal relationship between subjective perception and preference for welfare policy, the 2SLS regression analysis using instrument variables was attempted in this research. The key findings of this research were as follow. First, the groups who are opposed to the welfare state expansion, for example high income earners, low risk group, and employer/self-employer, prefer the more universal welfare systems. Second, the negative perception of welfare policy and recipients, which is stronger in older generation who experienced a much longer period of industrializaion, have a negative effect on preference for the universal welfare system. Last, we find that the endogenous problem arise in this research and distort the estimated regression coefficients. Therefore, subsequent studies must be mindful of this problem when they explain attitudes with attitudes.
