The purpose of this study was to examine the spatial composition and characteristics of model houses that have recently opened in Pangyone ara. Site visit and content analysis were adopted in this study. and the studied model houses developed by nine housing were of particular interest. The major findings indicated that convenience and safety through high tech-related features, environmentally friendly features in response to the growing attention of consumers to indoor air quality, aesthetic building facade and its various floor plan, and a wide range of consumers choice for interior finishes and materials. The new trends provides a flexible wall which makes it possible to manipulate the number of rooms according to the family preference.

The Hill housing in korea usually have a low-rise clustered housing style, and they were mostly built during the 1980s. Low-rise terraced houses that can be found in Europe, American or japan cannot be found in Korea due to spatial limitations, so semi-detached houses or duplexes with low-story unit plan have been built in Korea. In this study, the developments will be analyzed, and domestic and foreign cases will be compared. Based on the results of analyses and comparisons, new unit plans and section types applicable to Korea will be suggested.

우리나라 주거양식의 근대화는 단순히 전통한옥에서 현대의 주택, 아파트로의 교체가 아니라 일련의 연속적인 변화과정 속에서 시대를 살아온 사람들의 생활양식과 문화를 담고 있다고 볼 수 있다. '주택이란 삶을 담는 그릇'이라는 표현에서 볼 수 있듯이 주택이란 거주자의 가치관을 포함한 주생활양식과의 대응 속에서 주거환경의 질적 향상이 이루어질 수 있다. 따라서 주거양식의 변화에 관한 연구 또한 이러한 삶과 문화에 대응하는 방향으로 이루어져야 바람직할 것이다. 이상의 배경 하에 과거 전통주택에서부터 근대화 이후의 여러 주택유형에 이르기까지 다양한 유형을 포함한 우리 나라 주택이 가지는 공간구조의 변천을 시대적으로 조망하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여, 전통사회의 양반주택, 도시형한옥, 표준주택, 일반단독주택, 작가주택, 아파트에 이르는 다양한 주택유형을 포함하여 총 104개의 주택평면을 대상으로 공간구조의 변화에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 다양한 주택유형들이 보여주는 공간구조와 그 통시적 변화를 객관적이고 계량적인 방법론을 이용하여 관찰하고자 공간구문론의 분석방법을 이용하여 주택형식에 따른 기능적 형상학을 뛰어넘는 사회학적 형태학의 관점에서 우리나라 주거의 변천과정을 고찰하고자 한다. 상기한 바와 같이 개개의 주택형식에 대한 고려보다는 시대적 상황과 배경을 설명해주는데 용이한 대상을 중심으로 전반적인 변화의 양상과 그러한 변화에 내재한 사회적 동인과 배경을 파악하고 이해하고자 하였다.

The aim of this study was to determine the basic perception of Kleingarten house planning of Jeonbuk area. The survey method was used for data collection. The major finding were as follows: 1) Almost all respondents have a very positive attitude the participant of Kleingarten. Many respondents wanted the cheapest price for the Kleingarten rental fee and for the travel time between their home and Kleingarten to be under an hour. 2) Two different size of 45 and 66 $m^2$ were preferable for the house floor plans. The most preferable floor plan type chosen by the respondents was a house design with a terrace and the elderly householders especially preferred a house floor plan with an LDK design. 54.3 per cent respondents liked the log house and 93.3 per cent respondents liked the eco-friendly building materials such as wood, earth (Korean natural earth: whangto), and adobe bricks etc. 3) There were more needs for useful facilities such as a pergola, a grassy lawn, small ponds, a playground for the childrens, patio table settings, etc.

This study is aimed to provide a guide for PC use space in apartment. To achieve this, a design about PC use space which was considered adequate location, area, form was suggested. As methods of the study, survey research method and case study. The survey was taken by five hundred-eighty-nine people who used PCs in apartment from May 2005 to July 2005 in Je-Ju province for an analysis of data. The results of the survey were showed PC use space situation and furnitures layout patterns. The case was classified by unit plans of size, and it showed design example of PC use space. In case of the 20s pyeong(about 3.30 square meters) type, PC use space was located in dead-space in the residence with minimum scale, because of 20s pyeong types are smaller than the other types. In case of the 30s pyeong type, PC use space which was divided with a partition panel was located in the livingroom expanding the room space to the balcony. In case of the 40s pyeong type, PC use space was located in the room of sons or daughters which was arranged with other furniture. The adequate area of PC use space is 1.4$^{\sim}$2.2 square meters, and it should take into account furniture size and human active sphere. And PC use space of form should consider traffic line, personal space and privacy. Besides it is required of ergonomic design in chair, table in its scale. And it is necessary development of systematic furniture for PC use space.

To design common facilities that support residents' leisure activities is one of the comtemporary issues in Korea. People became interested in the leisure facilities in near-home environments. This trend encouraged this research study. The objectives of this study are: to analyze the current status and characteristics of leisure facilities in apartment communities, to examine the correlations among leisure facilities, and to suggest design considerations for Korean multi-family housing communities. Subject communities are located in the five metropolitan areas in the United States. The 460 apartment communities were randomly selected after a thorough review of a website for apartment finders. Among them, the 126 communities were selected for the analysis. Primary findings are as follows: (1) A total of 30 facilities were identified as the creational facilities in apartment properties. (2) Some leisure facilities were correlated with the other facilities, based on the Pearson's correlation analysis.(3) In addition to the facilities, some apartment communities provide leisure programs for their residents. These results suggest that architectural interventions and maintenance services as well should be considered in order to lead diverse leisure activities for residents.

주거공간에서 빛은 인간이 삶을 영위하고 창조활동을 하기 위해서는 꼭 필요한 환경요소이다. 특히 현대인들은 많은 시간을 인공적으로 꾸며진 실내환경 속에서 인공적인 빛을 밝히고 생활하는데 익숙해 있다. 현재 주택에서의 빛환경은 공간마다 명시성 위주의 생활행위에만 기준을 두고 있어 평균조도가 증가되기는 하였다. 그러나 주거공간은 다양한 용도와 목적으로 여러 생활행위가 행해지므로 이것에 대응시킬 수 있는 다양한 조도설정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 주거공간에서의 빛의 본질을 파악하고, 공동주택을 대상으로 실내공간별 빛환경을 측정하였다. 이를 통해 공동주택의 조명평면 및 문제점을 분석하여 우리나라 주거조명환경에 적합한 조도기준을 제안하고자 하였다.

본 내용은 1973년 10월 ‘스웨덴’에서 있었던 ‘주택산업의 개발전망’이라는 심포지움중, 스웨덴 주택연구소 기술과장으로 있는 ‘Borelius Anno'여사의 발표내용으로서 주택기준 작성에 고려하여야 할 사항을 항목별로 기술하고, 그에 따른 자료를 예시하고 있다. 물론 본기준과 자료가 우리나라 실정에는 맞지 않으나 접근방법과 평면계획, 공간구성등은 좋은 연구자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

This study is focused on Resider's Preference of Residential Space to improve Residence Unit Plan. Three Rental Housing Complexes in Jeju which supplied by Korea National Housing Corporation(KNHC) were selected for more detailed Resider's Preference research, which were constructed within 5years. Questionnaire of Total 360 sheets were distributed for each Rental Housing Complexes and total 299 sheets were returned. The results of research are as the followings. Generally satisfaction of environment and living area of home is not high. And also it seem that many residers want to live in housing of average 25.87 pyeong in housing scale. In view and direction of housing Especially, many residers tend to select housing that view is better than direction. With based on like this results, it is proposed housing plan's develop and political supports reflected Jeju's culture condition, life style, climate and so on.

This reserch is to compare and analyze of the residence disposition and feature of ground plan on Seomi 2 Dong in An-dong and Hyun-ri in Mun-gyong. The scope of this reserch concentrated on 33-housed which are 12-housed in Seomi 2 Dong and 21-housed in Hyun-ri. The focus of this reserch is mainly to investigate the characteristic of the site, and ground plans on individual houses. As result of it, there are mostly Yeo-Kan houses (six spans sized) on Seomi 2-dong village in An-Dong on the other hand there are a lot of Straight-Houses in Hyun-ri in Mun-gyong. Otherwise in characteristic of residence, There is dissimilarity between Seomi 2-dong which located in mountainous districts has space organization of utilitarian and Hyun-Ri has justification primacy as a farm village.
