A Study on the Economic Factors and Properties in Architecture (건축의 경제적 요인과 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Korea has recently experienced a large change in civil architecture and urban environment. However most of civil architectures and urbanization have been accomplished without considering economic efficiency and impact. This study focuses primarily on an analysis on the relationship between architecture and economic efficiency through the foreign and domestic case studies. Secondly, it is going to elucidate the economic properties on Korean architecture recently established. With perspectives of the analysis, we need to consider the following factors in the production of architecture; labor intensive industry, seasonal industry, strong and domestic demand.

강우시와 청천시의 하수 특성의 비교 검토

  • 본 연구는 하수처리장으로 유입되는 합류식 하수관거의 강우시의 누적강우량에 따른 하수량 변화 및 수질 농도의 변화와 청천시 하수량 변화에 따른 수질변화 특성에 대해 조사하였다. 유량 및 수질 분석 결과 강우시 하수량은 누적강우량에 좌우되었으며, 수질 또한 강우에 의해 희석되어 낮은 농도가 나타났다. 주거지역인 경우 청천시 하수량은 대부분 출근시간과 퇴근시간의 물 사용량에 영향을 받았다 그리고, 청천시 수질은 주거지역인 경우 하수량과 비슷한 경향을 보였다.

This study is to explore more positive design method of steel-framed house through analysis about the decorative properties, choosing steel-framed house designed by domestic architects after 1990.   • The increase of wheelchair users due to the rapid growth of elderly population, traffic accidents, and industrial disaster etc. becomes a major issue in our society. Thus, the Convenience Promotion Law was enforced to facilitate the use and installation of convenient facilities for the disabled, the elderly and pregnant women. Currently, not only newly built buildings but also roads and parks are accessed and used by all the people without any hindrance. In contrast to this, so far not many studies on residential space design for wheelchair users have been carried out except for public facilities. So, wheelchair users have to bear the inconvenience in their houses made upon the standards of the general people. Therefore, it is necessary to develop design guideline considering the physical characteristics of wheelchair users and their family members to lead a convenient life. This study was conducted in universal design perspective and intended to establish design guideline of convenient residential space for wheelchair users and general people. To accomplish the objective, surveys for wheelchair users' actual conditions and needs, and video observation were carried out.

  • The population of Korean Society is aging rapidly at a pace which is unprecedented in the world. This demographic change results in the various socioeconomic and cultural changes accompanied by spatial changes. The purpose of this study is to examine major characteristics of residential medical facilities for the elderly and the life of those using the facilities of the Capital Region in Korea. Major findings of the study are as follows. The characteristics of the location of residential medical facilities for the elderly and the life of those using the facilities are influenced not only by the mobility of the elderly. but also by the distance between the facilities and Seoul and also by the residential environments of the facilities. The location of the facilities and the mobility of the elderly, followed by the residential location of the family have an effect on everyday life of the elderly. Therefore, the location for residential medical facilities is not recommended to be far from the metropolitan area.

A Study on the Characteristics of Space Utilization after converting of Residential District in a New Development Area - Focused on Dunsan of Daejeon City - (신개발지 일반주거지역의 용도전환시 공간변용 특성에 관한 연구 - 대전 둔산 신시가지를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of space utilization and the problems that follows after converting in a new developmental residential area. This study used the content-analysis method and analysis was made on the floor plans for 95 different conversion cases. Above all, 190 unit plans (the unit plans for conversion before and after) were analyzed. The results of this study were as follows; 1) There were 8 types of conversion according to such usages as residential, commercial and residential-commercial buildings. 2) In the case of conversions, from residential to commercial, there was a tendency each floor was integrated to exclusive use for commercial or commercial with small portions of residential usage. And in the case of conversions from commercial to residential, there was a tendency that all space of each floor were changed to exclusive usages for residential purposes. 3) In case of usage conversion from commercial to residential, there were constraints for balcony installation, because of its original lot-structure and building equipments. Also, when the basement was converted for residential purpose, there was no possibility for an extra lighting or ways to ventilate the area.

Validation of a Dwelling Depression Scale Based on Analysis of Projective Images (투사이미지 분석기반 고령자 주거우울 척도 타당화 연구)

  • As the living environment is regarded as a key factor that affects the quality of life of the elderly, the necessity for an accurate measurement of depression for the elderly has increased. In order to diagnose accurately, it is crucial to consider variables such as the cognitive characteristics and living conditions. In this study, 301 persons over 65 years old who live in single and couple elderly households over 65 years were surveyed from 1 January 2018 to 2 February to measure the dwelling depression by applying projective images. The correlations between the dwelling depression and projective images are clarified and the reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated. The correlations between the geriatric dwelling depression index(GDDI) and the GDDI based on projective images(GDDI-I) are clarified. The accuracy of the GDDI-I is analyzed. As a result the projective image questionnaire has a correlation with the existing self-report questionnaire. It is hoped that the results will provide a basis for further researches on psychological diagnoses using the projective method.

  • 현대 사회는 1인가구가 급속도로 증가하고 있으며, 1인 가구의 대부분은 20-30대 청년들의 비중이 높다. 그에 비해 청년주거의 주거 빈곤율이 높게 나타나고 있으며, 그에 따른 합리적인 공급가격으로 셰어하우스에 대한 청년들의 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 1인 청년 가구 중 셰어하우스 사례를 대상으로 하며, 청년들의 셰어하우스 생활에 적합한 공간의 디자인 방향성을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 다음과 같이 진행하였다. 첫째, 문헌조사와 정보 수집을 통해 셰어하우스의 개념과 특성 등을 이론 고찰하였다. 둘째, 국내의 청년 대상으로 셰어하우스 사례들을 조사하였다. 셋째, 셰어하우스 사례들을 특성에 따라 유형을 분류하고 유형별로 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 셰어하우스에 대한 관심은 점차 높아지고 있으며, 특히 개인 주거공간과 커뮤니티 공간이 결합된 셰어하우스의 형태를 볼 수 있었다.

  • 최근 주거시설의 내장재는 다양화 되어 가고 있지만 안정성 보다는 디자인, 기능성에 치중되어 그에 따른 화재 위험성도 커져가고 있다. 또한 여러 가지 합성수지로 예상치 못한 화재성상을 보이고 있으나 이에 따른 법규는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 고정가연물중 주거시설에서 많이 사용되어지는 시료를 선정하여 Cone Calorimeter를 이용해 그 연소특성을 알아보았다. 그에 따른 결과로 바닥재는 국내산이 높은 발열량을 보였고 벽지는 국외산이 높은 발열량을 보였다.
