As many companies have adopted and used ERP systems, concerns about ERP performance also have increased. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships between qualitative variables and quantitative variables measuring ERP performances. Qualitative research, widely used in MIS research, typically examines perceived usefulness of ERP, such as information quality, system quality, system satisfaction. Quantitative research, often done in accounting research, usually examines ERP performance based on financial statements. An empirical study led to the following conclusions: 1) There were significant correlations among the qualitative variables measuring perceived usefulness of ERP; 2) Significant correlations were also observed among the quantitative variables based on financial statements; 3) However, no significant correlations was found between the qualitative variables and quantitative variables measuring ERP performance.
The purpose of this study was to research the relationships among psychological capital, job attitude, and service climate of employees in hotel corporations. Psychological capital has been demonstrated to be important for performance at both individual and group levels of analyses. In addition psychological capital has been shown to provide additive value to more established measures of employee's positive job attitudes. To accomplish this study, it was determined that the analysis derived from a hypothesis and literature reviews and data collected from 295 employees in hotel corporations. The results of empirical analysis showed as follows. First, Psychological capital has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Second, Psychological capital has a significant effect on organizational commitment. Third, Service climate was also found to have moderating effect upon the relationship between psychological capital and job satisfaction. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.
CS is one of the major concerns of managers in the world because it is well known to be a key medium construct for firms' superior outcome. One of the major agents for CS management is retailers. Firms try to manage not only employees but also retailers to promote CS behaviors. And so diverse incentives are used to promote their CS behaviors under diverse channel setting such as multi-channel. However in spite of the rising needs there has been scarce studies on the optimal incentive structure for a manufacturer to offer competing retailers at the multi-channel. In this paper, we try to find better way for a manufacturer to promote the competing retailers' CS behaviors. We investigated how to promote the retailers' CS behavior via game-theoretic modeling. Especially, we focus on the possible incentive, CS bonus type reward introduced in the studies of Hauser, Simester, and Wernerfelt(1994) and Chu and Desai(1995). We build up a multi stage complete information game and derive a subgame perfect equilibrium using backward induction. Stages of the game are as following. (Stage 1) Manufacturer sets wholesale price(w) and CS bonus($\eta$). (Stage 2) Both retailers in competition set CS effort level($e_i$) and retail price($p_i$) simultaneously. (Stage 3) Consumers make purchasing decisions based on the manufacturer's initial reputation and retailers' CS efforts. Structure of the Model We investigated four issues about the topic as following: (1) How much total incentive is adequate for a firm of a specific level of reputation to promote retailers' CS behavior under multi-channel setting ?, (2) How much total incentive is adequate under diverse level of complimentary externalities between the retailers' CS efforts to promote retailers' CS behavior?, (3) How much total incentive is adequate under diverse level of cost to make CS efforts to promote retailers' CS behavior?, (4) How much total incentive is adequate under diverse level of competition between retailers to promote retailers' CS behavior? Our findings are as following. (1) The higher reputation has the manufacturer, the higher incentives for retailers at multi-channel are required in the equilibrium. shows the increasing pattern of optimal incentive level along the manufacturer's reputation level(a) under some parameter conditions(b=1/2;c=0;$\beta$=1/2). (2) The bigger complimentary externalities exists between the retailers' CS efforts, the higher incentives are required in the equilibrium. shows the increasing pattern of optimal incentive level along the complimentary externalities level($\beta$) under some parameter conditions(a=1;b=1/2;c=0). (3) The higher is the retailers' cost, the lower incentives are required in the equilibrium. shows the decreasing pattern of optimal incentive level along the cost level(c) under some parameter conditions(a=1;b=1/2;$\beta$=1/2). (4) The more competitive gets those two retailers, the higher incentives for retailers at multi-channel are required in the equilibrium. shows the increasing pattern of optimal incentive level along the competition level(b) under some parameter conditions(c=0;a=1;$\beta$=1/2). One of the major contribution points of this study is the fact that this study is the first to investigate the optimal CS incentive system under multi-channel setting.
Holding conventions and exhibitions are deemed as a highly valued-added services. The conventions and exhibitions industry (CEI) contributes to the development of the region in which the venues are located by creating jobs, boosting the local economics, attracting dollars and increasing tax incomes. At the same time, the international awareness of the region rises after holding an international exhibition or convention. This study investigated the effects of outsourcing services quality that employed by corporations organizing conventions and exhibitions on business performance and customer satisfaction of organizing corporations. It was found that many convention organizing corporations relied on outsourcing services for the most of the process. Given that the staff members of outsourcing companies serve as the major source of services for events, the quality of their services has much effects on the business results of hiring corporations. In this study, major factors influencing the service quality and the importance of the service quality were addressed. And the ideas for effective method for controlling the outsourcing sources were also suggested for hiring corporations and outsourcing companies.
The satisfaction of customers, who are in a servicescape, will be subject to many environment stimulations. In particularly, in the hospitality industry such as restaurants service experience for customer is very important. Thus, not only the stylistic elements but also the social and socially symbolic elements. So this paper expands Bitner's servicescape framework by conceptualizing the existence of a expanded servicescape. The expanded servicescape has three important dimensions, which is the physical, the social and the socially symbolic. Structural modeling largely supports the hypothesized framework and the results about the relationship between expanded servicescape factors, relationship quality(satisfaction, trust, commitment) and repurchase are summarized as follows. And this study utilizes a questionnaire survey to gather data regarding consumers' perceptions by using expanded servicescape. First, the analysis proved that except comfort the physical dimensions which including comfort, convenience, aesthetics caused a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Second, social dimensions which including appearance, etiquette and professionalism caused a positive impact on customer trust. Third, except community symbolic dimensions which including nostalgia, connection to culture caused a positive impact on customer commitment. Forth, it proved that expected relationship quality(customer satisfaction, trust, commitment) caused a positive impact on repurchase behavior.
Relationship Marketing has been dealt with as an effective strategy to sustain customer loyalty in many previous researches. For relationship development, a customer's efforts are necessary as well as an organization's efforts. However, the role of customers for the development of the relationship with an organization has been dealt in few previous researches so far. Furthermore, whereas researchers understand the importance of consumers' motivation in the relationship, few researchers had paid attention. This research is based on the Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to explain the role of customer motivation in the process of relationship development and performance. We started by using SDT to confirm the psychological side of relationship development in customer aspects. Then, this paper verified the relationships among environmental factors(informative communication, perceived personalization), relationship motivation(identified motivation, internal motivation) and relational factors(affective commitment, relationship strength). It suggested that customer's roles in psychological parts be inevitable in developing the relationship and it acquired by such stimulations from service providers. In conclusion, this paper has several marketing implications on customer acquisition and retention. For service providers, they should recognize the fact that a customer's perception of self-determination factors can generate tangible and intangible performance in relationship development.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze local retailers' recognition of commercial power altered by urban regeneration. For the purpose of this study, analysis is performed on pilot urban regeneration priority projects implemented in the city of Changwon. Although regeneration of commercial districts directly affect the local retailers therein, little research has been carried out to examine how they recognize such changes. This study, therefore, identifies those factors that have influence on the recognition of local retailers who would be aware of the alteration of their commercial power more immediately than others do. Using an ordered logit model, empirical analysis on two pilot projects for Odong-dong and Chang-dong indicates that retailers in Odong-dong are more likely to have a negative recognition toward the altered business areas. For the both districts, recognition of business area alterations is affected with statistical significance by how long they have run their shops, how many employees they hire, and whether they believe that the urban regeneration has resulted in gentrification. For each of the mentioned district, recognition in Odong-dong is significantly impacted by the number of employees and recognized rent changes, while in Chang-dong, the age of retailers and the perceived presence of gentrification have statistically significant influence. Issues found by this study need to be addressed prior to the upcoming 'Urban Regeneration New Deal Project', which then will bring satisfaction to each and every local residents including those retailers.
