An Activity Analysis Method for Workflow Visual Verification and Mining (워크플로우 가시적 검증 및 마이닝을 위한 액티비티 분석 방법)

  • This paper conceives and implements an activity analysis method as a tool to be used for workflow visual verification and mining. One of the recent issues in the workflow and business process literature is to refine and to improve the deployed workflows and business processes. The activity analysis method proposed in this paper provides a way to fine a set of activities being directly affected by the specific activity that a user tries to change its properties. I would strongly believe that the method can be a useful solution for the dynamic changes and visual verifications problems of workflow models as well as the workflow process mining problems. Finally, to prove the possibility of the proposed method and its applicability, we apply to a workflow model of the electronic approval system run by a real corporation.

Detection Probability Improvement of Bias Error of GPS Carrier Measurement using Baseline Constraint (기저선 제한조건을 이용한 GPS 반송파 바이어스 오차의 검출확률 향상)

  • A method is suggested for validating the existence of bias error on GPS carrier measurement. The baseline constraint is used as an addition measurement, which augments the original measurement equation. The detection probability is calculated on both cases. The first case is using GPS carrier measurement only, the second case is using GPS carrier and a baseline constraint. The improvement of the detection probability is shown, and the advantage of using baseline constraint is described statistically, the results of the simulation is shown and analyzed.

  • In array signal processing, high order statistics can be used to estimate parameters from signal of sums of complex exponential. In this paper, we derive two types of direction finding algorithms which use the fourth-order cumulant and moment of the received array data. Since the fourth order cumulant can suppress the Gaussian noise, the response of MPM has better noise immunity than the conventional approaches. The performance of each method in regard to the probability of resolution and SNR in the presence of the Gaussian noise is investigated. As a result, the proposed method applied to the fourth-order statistic can find DOA more correctly in the presence of the Gaussian noise.

  • We proposed a new method to improve the resolution of elemental image set in the integral imaging system using super-resolution image reconstruction method. Adjacent elemental images have same image region which is projected from the common area of object. These projected images in the elemental image can be used for low resolution images of super-resolution method. Two methods for resolution improvement of elemental image set using super-resolution method are proposed. One is super-resolution among the elemental image sets and the other is among the elemental images. Simulation results are compared with resolution improved elemental image set using interpolated method.

Refractive Index Changes of Polymer Film by Photochemical Reactions (광반응에 의한 고분자 필름의 굴절률 변화)

  • The refractive index of thin copolymer film was controlled by photo-degradation of chromophores in the copolymer. FTIR and UV/Vis spectroscopy were employed to elucidate the effect of chemical structure on refractive index changes after photobleaching. The decrease of refractive index of the film by photobleaching can be ascribed to the decrease of polarizability of polymer molecules through breakage of C =C bond in the chromophore. Due to the selective photoreaction of the chromophores which align along the film plane, refractive index of the copolymer film measured in TE mode decreases faster than that in TM mode. Polarized ATR-FTIR spectroscopy was used to verify such a difference in refractive index of the film.

  • 본 논문은 전국적인 소매업체의 각 지점별 고객 수요가 불확실한 상황에서 고객 서비스 목표 수준을 충족하는 최적재고 수준을 결정하는 문제에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 전국에 분포한 지점에서 물품을 판매하는 베스트바이, 월마트, 혹은 시어스와 같은 전국적인 소매업체 관점에서 사용할 수 있는 핵심 관리 지표(KPI)로서 ISR(In-Stock Ratio)를 정의하였으며, 전국적인 소매업체가 평균 ISR로 정의되는 고객 서비스 목표 수준을 충족하면서 각 지점 보유 재고의 총합을 최소화할 수 있는 최적화 모델을 수립하였다. 본 논문은 해당 모델에 항상 최적해가 존재함을 증명하고 해당 최적해를 Karush-Kuhn-Tucker 조건을 사용하여 고객 수요의 확률분포의 형태에 상관없이 일반화된 형태로 표현하였다. 또한 본 논문은 고객 수요가 정규분포와 같은 특정 확률분포를 따르는 경우에 대해 연구하였으며, 이 경우에 대한 최적 재고수준을 나타내는 식을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서는 상기 기술된 상황에 대한 수리적인 예제를 통하여 최적재고 수준과 확률분포 파라미터들간의 관계를 분석하였다.

  • The photocatalytic degradation of a textile diazo dye in aqueous solution has been investigated under Solar and UV-A light. The effect of various parameters such as concentration of dye, amount of catalyst and pH on the degradation of dye has been studied. Addition of hydrogen peroxide, ammonium persulphate and isopropanol strongly influences the degradation rate. Kinetic analysis of photodegradation reveals that the degradation follows approximately pseudo first order kinetics according to the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model. Carbon dioxide, nitrate and sulphate ions have been identified as mineralisation products. The photocatalyst ZnO was found to be more efficient in UV-A light than in Solar light.

Properties of Crude Amylase Isolated from Pine Nut (잣에 존재하는 아밀라제의 특성)

  • The participation of thermostable amylase in the decrease of viscosity of pine nut's porridge was investigated using the crude enzyme obtained from ammonium sulfate fractionation of pine nut extracts. The fraction precipitated at $35{\sim}55%$ saturation of ammonium sulfate had the highest specific activity of the enzyme. ${\alpha}-amylase$ activity was maximal at $75^{\circ}C$, pH 5.4. Amylograph data showed that addition of the enzyme to rice flour resulted in the significant decrease of its viscosity, suggesting the existence of thermostable ${\alpha}-amylase$ in pine nut.

  • The head-related transfer function (HRTF), which expresses the acoustic process from the sound source to the human ears in the free field, contains critical informations which the location of the source can be traced. It also makes it possible to realize multi-dimensional acoustic system that can approximately generate non-existing sound source. The use of non-individual, common HRTF brings performance degradation in localization ability such as front-back judgment error, elevation judgment error. In this paper, we have reduced the error on vertical plane by increasing the spectral notch level. The performance of the proposed method was Proved through subjective test that it is Possible to improve the ability to locate stationary/moving source.
