게터조합펌프의 배기속도 측정

  • 초고진공 시스템에 사용되는 조합펌프(게터펌프+이온펌프)의 배기속도를 측정하여 보고한다. 이 펌프는 좁은 공간 내에 설치가능 하고 비교적 큰 배기속도를 가지도록 설계되었다. 이온펌프는 소형(30 l/s) 이극형이며 게터펌프는 ZrVFe 합금의 모듈형태로 1개에서 3개까지 장착되도록 하였다. 이 펌프의 설계 성능을 검증하기 위하여 초고진공상태의 잔류기체 구성비에 가까운 기체조성비(수소 90%, 일산화탄소 10%)로 그 배기속도를 측정하였다. 배기속도는 미국진공학회 표준측정순서를 따랐으며 도달압력도 측정하여 보고한다.

  • This paper presents a design method for multiple-output combinational digital logic systems using time domain based on multiplexing and common multi-terminal extension decision diagrams. The common multi-terminal extension decision diagrams represents extension valued multiple-output functions, while time domain based on multiplexing systems transmit several signals on a single lines. The proposed method can reduce the 1)hardware, 2)logic levels and 3)pins. In the logic system design, we use two types of decision diagrams, that is the common binary decision diagrams and common multi-terminal extension decision diagrams.

  • The field of the web service orchestration introduced to generate a valuable service by reusing single services. Recently, it suggests rule-based searching and composition by the AI (Artificial Intelligence) instead of simple searching or orchestration based on the IOPE(Input, Output, Precondition, Effect) to implement the Semantic web as the web service of the next generation. It introduce a AOP programming paradigm from existing object-oriented programming paradigm for more efficient modularization of software. In this paper, we design a dynamic web service orchestration and invocation scheme applying Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) and Reflection for Semantic web. The proposed scheme makes use of the Reflection technique to gather dynamically meta data and generates byte code by AOP to compose dynamically web services. As well as, our scheme shows how to execute composed web services through dynamic proxy objects generated by the Reflection. For performance evaluation of the proposed scheme, we experiment on search performance of composed web services with respect to business logic layer and user view layer.

  • We developed a novel depth-of-interaction positron emission tomography (PET) detector using wavelength shifting (WLS) fibers and optimized it. The optimization module was designed by using two scintillators and three WLS fibers and attaching a sensor to the end of the WLS fiber. Optimum combinations were obtained through the light collection efficiency and the light collection ratio between sensors depending on coupling materials and reflectors of scintillators, WLS fibers and sensors. The highest light collection efficiency and the light collection ratio between sensors were obtained in the combination of the epoxy (coupling materials)-diffuse reflector (scintillators)-specular reflector (WLS fibers).

  • A multi-agent system is a system that aims at achieving the best-coordinated decision based on each agent's local decision. In this paper, we consider a multi agent-multi task assignment problem. Each agent is assigned to only one task and there is a completion probability for performing. The objective is to determine an assignment that maximizes the sum of the completion probabilities for all tasks. The problem, expressed as a non-linear objective function and combinatorial optimization, is NP-hard. It is necessary to design an effective and efficient solution methodology. This paper presents an approximation algorithm using submodularity, which means a marginal gain diminishing, and demonstrates the scalability and robustness of the algorithm in theoretical and experimental ways.

  • 본 논문에서는 내장된 수동형 트리플렉서와 듀얼 밴드/트라이모드 RF 모듈을 PCB에 내장시켜서 북미향 CDMA용 부품으로 제작하였다. 수동형 트리플렉서는 모든 수동 소자들을 다층 PCB 기판 안에 내장시키고 그 위에 GPS용 SAW 대역통과필터를 이용하여 설계 및 제작하였다. 8개의 인덕터와 커패시터로 이루어진 수동 회로는 다이플렉서와 병렬 공진기, 임피던스 매칭 회로로 구성되어 있다. CDMA용 듀얼밴드/트라이모드 RF 모듈은 트리플렉서와 CDMA, PCS용 듀플렉서를 테스트 보드 위에 조합하여 제작하였다. 측정된 주파수 특성들은 시뮬레이션 값과 비교적 일치하였다. 트리플렉서와 듀얼 밴드/트라이모드 RF 모듈은 각기 $3{\times}4mm^2$${7\times}7mm^2$의 작은 크기였다. 설계 및 제작된 소자들은 고성능과 경박단소화, 저가화 등의 이점이 있기 때문에, 북미향 CDMA용 단말기의 응용부품에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • This study was focused on the investigation of the effects of membrane module configuration and the temperature of feed retentate flowing along with module length on membrane performance through model simulation. A simulation model of pervaporative dehydration through membrane module assemble in which a number of unit modules are connected in parallel or in series has been established. In this study, ethanol/water mixture was used as model mixture. Some of permeation parameters in the model were quantified directly from the real dehydration pervaporation of ethanol through a lab-made membrane. By adopting the coefficients determined empirically the simulation model could be of more practical value. The simulation of pervaporation with two basic module configurations, that is, parallel connection and series connection, could present the importance of process parameters such as feed rate, module connection mode, number of stages, and inter-stage heating.

Replication of Multi-level Microstructures by Microinjection Molding Using Modularized and Sectioned Micromold System (모듈화된 초소형 몰드 시스템(MSMS)을 이용한 다단 마이크로 구조물의 초소형 사출성형 공정)

  • In this study, microinjection molding process using the newly developed micromold system, namely modularized and sectioned micromold system (MSMS), has been carried out for a replication of multi-level microstructures. The present MSMS consisted of several micromold modules, each having cross-sectional microstructures on the top surface. The micromold modules were precisely fabricated by deep X-ray lithography and subsequent nickel electroforming. By assembling the micromold modules, an MSMS having multi-level microstructures, which could be used as a mold system in micromolding processes, was obtained. In this manner, polymeric multi-level microstructures, such as the triangular prism microstructures on a stepped surface, were successfully replicated by the microinjection molding process.
