A study on asset management investment strategy model by trade probability control on futures market (선물시장에서 거래확률 조정을 통한 자산운용 투자전략 모델에 관한 연구)

  • This paper attempts to offer an effective strategy of hedge fund based on trade probability control in the futures market. By using various technical indicators, we create an association rule and transforms it into a trading rule to be used as an investment strategy. Association rules are made by the combination of various technical indicators and the range of individual indicator value. Adjustments of trade probabilities are performed by depending on the rule combinations and it can be utilized to establish an effective investment strategy onto the risk management. In order to demonstrate the superiority of the investment strategy proposed, we analyzed a profitability using the futures index based on KOSPI200. Experiments results show that our proposed strategy could effectively manage and response the dynamics investment risks.

  • Through the research, we found that the organizational systems of social enterprises in Europe have both properties of limited companies and stock companies in traditional organizational structures such as cooperatives, mutual companies and associations. However, social enterprises pursue interests of entire community, allowing the interested parties to join them in comparison with cooperatives. And for finance, most of the countries mainly use public fund such as national grants, but they are using more sales revenue. However, in our country the organizational systems of social enterprises have been introduced as the government and academic circles discussed expansion of social employment within a short period. So Korean enterprises tend to depend on national support rather than profitable activities for finance. Therefore, we need to develop a Korean convention or social agreement for the organizational systems of social enterprises. Furthermore, it is important for social enterprises to secure safe finance through development of social services and social cultures such as donation.

  • The source of value-added creation in modern times has been transformed from material to man's value-added generating power, and ownership of the means of production has been converted from a particular landlord, capitalist to a person with value-added capacity, and a system of capital participation is needed beyond the profit-sharing system or performance incentive system in which workers of an enterprise participate in simple profits if they significantly increase the added value of the company. It is also necessary to introduce our private stock system as a means of addressing the problem of capital bias and for the stable development of capitalism. The purpose of Employee Stock Ownership Plans is to improve the economic and social status of workers and promote labor-management cooperation by allowing workers to acquire and hold shares of the stock company in which the employee ownership association is established through the employee ownership association, but the reality is that our stock ownership system has failed to achieve its purpose due to insufficient protection against the employee. In terms of welfare, the acquisition of our company shares should include active government support for the welfare of workers' ownership on a social welfare level rather than on the logic of the capital market, and in terms of investment, it would not be appropriate to apply the regulation for investor protection to see workers' acquisition of our company shares as 'investment' in the view of workers' willingness to own shares on the stock market. Therefore, as a way to support and deregulate employee's stock acquisition, 1. Expanding direct support, such as tax support, 2. As employee's stock ownership association is being discussed as a division's nature, it is less effective in terms of various management, not investment, and 3. Those who own stocks with 1% of the company's shares and 300 million won in face value will be classified as major shareholders. An Empirical Study on Solidarity of Korean Unionists and Its Determinants : Focusing on Economic Interests, Worker Identification and Empathy (정규직 노동자의 연대의식과 결정요인에 관한 실증적 연구: 경제적 이해관계, 동일시, 공감을 중심으로)

  • This study is aimed at empirically examining the Korean unionists' solidarity using the survey of 476 full-time workers employed at the unionized workplace. It also questions the determinants affecting the unionist' willingness to be united with the contingent workers. The Korean unionism has faced the biggest challenge, that is, the crisis-in-worker solidarity. Although prior literature has noted the crisis in Korean unionism, it lacks a solid investigation of individual workers' perception of solidarity which may play a key role in building up worker-solidarity in the union movement. This study first examines the three sources of solidarity allowing for the historical and theoretical approach to the modern solidarity; economic interests, worker-identification and empathy, which provide an emprical framework for this study. The empirical evidences shows dynamic aspects as of how the full-timers perceive solidarity with the non-regular workers in the three terms of solidarity. First, full-time unionists share rare willingness to be united with contingent workers in terms of economic solidarity. In addition, the KCTU (Korean Confederation of Trade Unions) with social reformative orientation has little influence on increasing their member's orientation towards solidarity. Second, it is found that full-time unionists have more willingness to identify themselves with the non-regular workers as a member of the labor class. The KTCU is also positively associated with their member's will of identification with contingent workers. Third, the unionists, however, show little empathy toward non-regular workers, which is contrast to the willingness to worker identification. No causality is also found between the KTCU and their members' empathy for the others.

Analysis of the Information in the COVID-19 Emergency Alert : Focusing on Essential Information Factors and Privacy Invasion Information Factors (코로나19 안전안내문자 정보 속성 분석 : 필수 정보 요인과 프라이버시 침해 정보 요인을 중심으로)

  • In the context of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, emergency alert text messages can violate the privacy of confirmed corona positive cases. This study used conjoint analysis to identify the essential information factors and the privacy invasion information factors of local government initiated safety notices. As a result of this study, we found eight essential information factors, including all routes of the confirmed case and ten privacy invasion factors of safety notices. In addition, we found that there is a similarity between the combinations of information perceived to be the most essential and perceived as the most significant privacy invasion; both combinations include the confirmed case's personal and route information. This study ultimately tried to suggest a way to lower the concern about privacy invasion of the confirmed cases without damaging the emergency alert text messages' essential information. We expect that this study will provide researchers and policymakers interested in disaster communication with valuable theoretical and practical implications.

A Study on the Correlation between Financial Ratio and Operating Performance Considering the Characteristics of Foodservice Companies (외식 기업의 특성을 고려한 재무 비율과 경영 성과간의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • This study attempted to analyze the correlation between financial ratio and operating performance of foodservice companies, using the financial data by DART service. Financial ratio is an index to identify the management of foodservice companies from calculating the ratio associating two accounts in the financial statements. Managers, creditors and investors often have different purposes for using the ratio analysis to evaluate the contents of the financial statements. According to the analysis of financial ratio and operating performance, listed food and beverage companies proved to have a high correlation in all except for interest coverage. However, foodservice companies showed a high correlation in stability and growth ratio. Therefore, managers of the foodservice companies will need to improve operating performance for using efficient utilization plans of debt from assets and operating expenses(cost of goods sold, general and other expenses).

Taiwan Security Industry and Its Current Development of Education (대만 민간경비의 현황과 발전전망(臺灣保安産業與敎育發展現況))

  • 지난 10여 년 동안 대만사회의 가장 큰 변화 중 하나는 '개인 경비', 혹은 '개인 경호' 사업이 크게 발달했다는 것이다. 민간의 역량과 과학화된 설비로써 재산보호와 신변보호를 하고자 하는 개인 경비에는 여러 방식이 있다. 예를 들어 개인안전 경비(즉, 수행경호), 현금운송 경비, 주거경비, 상공업경비(여기에는 공장지대의 안전한 보호와 백화점, 금융기관, 보석상점 및 편의점 등의 경비가 포함됨), 그리고 각종 경비장치의 설치 등이 있다. 천징훼이(陳靜慧, 2006)는 대만의 경비 산업 경영형태에 대해 아래와 같이 분석하였다. 그의 주장에 따르면, 대만의 경비 산업은 일반 업무 위주로 하고 있으며, 여기에는 시스템 경비, 상근 경비, 현금 경비, 신변 경비가 있다고 밝혔다. 이 일반 업무는 일본, 미국, 독일의 형태와 유사하다. 그러나 미국과 독일의 경비회사들은 특수한 업무를 담당하고 있다. 미국의 경우 무장경비 현금수송, 신용조사 업무, 보험조사 업무, 거짓말 탐지 업무를 수행한다. 독일의 특수 업무에는 군대설비 경비, 교통지휘 및 질서 유지, 신속 고발 경비, 그리고 교도소 경비가 있다. 량신쩐(梁心禎, 2006)은 대만의 경비 산업 발전의 흐름에 대해 다음 세 단계로 구분했다. 제1단계는 1978년부터 1987년까지로 이 시기 대만은 일본 경비 사업 발전의 영향을 수용했기 때문에 일본의 경비사업 관리방식과 시스템 설비를 받아들여 점차 대만 방식의 경비 형태로 발전시켜 나갔다. 초기 발전단계의 경영방식은 주로 외국 기술과의 협력을 통한 시스템 경비가 주를 이루었다. 제2단계는 1988년부터 1997년까지인데, 이 시기에 이르러 경비 사업은 비인기 사업에서 인기 사업으로 시장이 확대되었고, 해외업체와의 활발한 기술 교류, 새로운 브랜드 개발과 경비 경영 방식의 혁신, 그리고 상근 경비와 수행경호와 같은 경비 관련 항목의 확장을 이루었다. 또한 이 시기에 수많은 경비회사들이 세워져 새로운 경쟁시대로 돌입하였다. 제3단계는 1998년부터 현재까지로 이전의 전통적인 건물경비 방식에서 경비와 부동산 관리 서비스를 함께하는 방식으로 경영 형태가 바뀌었고 전반적인 서비스 품질을 중시하기 시작하였다. 따라서 경비 사업자는 아파트 및 빌딩관리 보호 회사를 설립하여 이를 공동 경영하였으며, 전문적이고 종합적인 단계로 들어섰다. 대만 경비 교육제도의 설립과 제도화된 면허증 시스템 구축은 아직 초보적인 단계로써 여전히 이 두 방면의 발전을 강화시켜야 하는데, 교육과 심사를 시행하여 경비원의 소질을 향상시켜야 할 것이다. 경비사업자는 과학기술적인 통제 시스템을 받아들여 인건비를 낮추고 서비스의 범위와 품질을 향상시켜야 한다. 또한 각 지방의 노동조합은 정부가 법령을 개정하여 경비원의 자격제한과 업무를 보장해주도록 건의해야만 경호원의 대우와 이미지가 개선될 수 있다. 아울러 국제학술교류의 확대와 경비 관련 산업에 대한 토론회와 전시회를 자주 개최하여 새로운 지식을 습득해야 한다.

Exploring the Performance of Multi-Label Feature Selection for Effective Decision-Making: Focusing on Sentiment Analysis (효과적인 의사결정을 위한 다중레이블 기반 속성선택 방법에 관한 연구: 감성 분석을 중심으로)

  • Management decision-making based on artificial intelligence(AI) plays an important role in helping decision-makers. Business decision-making centered on AI is evaluated as a driving force for corporate growth. AI-based on accurate analysis techniques could support decision-makers in making high-quality decisions. This study proposes an effective decision-making method with the application of multi-label feature selection. In this regard, We present a CFS-BR (Correlation-based Feature Selection based on Binary Relevance approach) that reduces data sets in high-dimensional space. As a result of analyzing sample data and empirical data, CFS-BR can support efficient decision-making by selecting the best combination of meaningful attributes based on the Best-First algorithm. In addition, compared to the previous multi-label feature selection method, CFS-BR is useful for increasing the effectiveness of decision-making, as its accuracy is higher.

On Implementing a Hybrid Solver from Constraint Programming and Optimization (제약식프로그래밍과 최적화를 이용한 하이브리드 솔버의 구현)

  • Constraint Programming and Optimization have developed in different fields to solve common problems in real world. In particular, constraint propagation and linear Programming are their own fundamental and complementary techniques with the potential for integration to benefit each other. This intersection has evoked the efforts to combine both for a solution method to combinatorial optimization problems. Attempts to combine them have mainly focused on incorporating either technique into the framework of the other with traditional models left intact. This paper argues that integrating both techniques into an old modeling fame loses advantages from another and the integration should be molded in a new framework to be able to exploit advantages from both. The paper propose a declarative modeling framework in which the structure of the constraints indicates how constraint programming and optimization solvers can interact to solve problems.

Approximation Algorithm for Multi Agents-Multi Tasks Assignment with Completion Probability (작업 완료 확률을 고려한 다수 에이전트-다수 작업 할당의 근사 알고리즘)

  • A multi-agent system is a system that aims at achieving the best-coordinated decision based on each agent's local decision. In this paper, we consider a multi agent-multi task assignment problem. Each agent is assigned to only one task and there is a completion probability for performing. The objective is to determine an assignment that maximizes the sum of the completion probabilities for all tasks. The problem, expressed as a non-linear objective function and combinatorial optimization, is NP-hard. It is necessary to design an effective and efficient solution methodology. This paper presents an approximation algorithm using submodularity, which means a marginal gain diminishing, and demonstrates the scalability and robustness of the algorithm in theoretical and experimental ways.
