Composite 부싱의 기밀 특성을 위한 최적의 압착에 관한 연구 (A Study on Optimal Fitting for Tightness Characteristics of Composite Bushing)

  • Recently, composite hollow bushings have been increasingly employed mainly from the various characteristics. Composite bushings are superior to porcelain bushings in several respects, including lighter weight, better anti-pollution and anti-explosion properties, and easer manufacturing. This paper deals with the optimal thermal fitting for improved tightness characteristics of composite bushing. Two types of composite bushings were fabricated. For optimal fitting process, it is necessary using adhesive and designed internal structure of flange and FRP tube. In this study, for improved tightness characteristics of composite bushing has prominence and interface tolerance of flange and FRP tube. From FE-SEM analysis the adhesive layers were different with interface tolerance, sample 1 and 2 which have respective about $120{\mu}m$ and $50{\mu}m$.

  • The ageing cause in many porcelain suspension insulators which occur on transmission and distribution line with dead-end stings is mechanical stress in interface between porcelain and cement materials. It is known that the principal mechanical stress which give electrical failure is the results of the displacement is due to cement growth. We studied an analysing method to find out a deformation of brittle porcelain with a thermal expansion of cement for suspension insulator. These simulation analysis and experimental results show that cement volume growths affect severely to be mechanical failure ageing. These simulation analysis and experimental results show that axial loading affects of Porcelain insulators severely to be mechanical failure ageing.

  • This paper presents the results of multi-stress chamber experiments done to examine the tracking and erosion performance of polymer insulator. Multi-stress testing is able to demonstrate deficiencies of polymer insulator materials and designs including the nature of interfaces in insulation design. Therefore, multi-stress testing is believed to a suitable test for evaluating the aging performance of polymer insulator designs. We have investigated IEC 61109 Annex C for estimating long time performance of polymer insulator.

  • FRP has been used very much as high strength core materials for insulators because of its high strength and good insulation properties. In this study cantilever, tension and torsion stress were simulation along to the unidirection glass fiber. In addition, FRP was made by pultrusion method. This paper proposed the procedure of the finite element model updating and pretest using the commerical finite element code MSC.Nastran. To ehance the efficiency of experimental modal analysis, we proposed the process which is the selection of the locations and the number of measurement points for pre-test.

  • Recently composite insulators are being used for outdoor high voltage applications. Composite insulators for transmission line have significant advantages over porcelain insulators, especially for ultra-high voltage. Their advantages are light weight, vandalism resistance, and hydrophobicity. We developed a 170kV high reliable vertical break disconnector with good long term electrical and mechanical performance which was achieved by the improvement of electrical performance and light weight. We discuss the outline of the development and the product.

  • The suspension insulators are subjected to harsh environment in service for a long time. Long term reliability of the insulators is required for both mechanical and electrical performances. We studied HRB characteristics to find out a deformation of suspension porcelain with alumina contents. These experimental results show that HRB intensity was affected severely by alumina contents, and the propagation properties was affected mainly by a distribution and shape of micro pores on porcelain samples.

  • In this describes the results of a study on the thermal expansion of FRP tube/flange for improved tightness characteristics of polymer bushing. The thermal expansion of FRP tube and flange were investigated. The thermal expansion of flange, FRP tube were studied by TGA, TMA. AS winding tension is increased glass fiber contents was increased in the range of 70.89~78.74 and thermal expansion coefficient was decreased in the range of 29.90~13.50.

  • In this paper, we evaluated the effect of accumulated charges on hydrophobicity of room temperature vulcanized(RTV) silicone rubber, which could improve the contamination performance of porcelain insulators, with uv radiation time. Outdoor insulating material could be charged by the corona discharge on field intensified area of insulator and discharge between the water drops. In addition, we performed the accelerated uv radiation on samples and investigated the change of charging decay with time. In this results, it is found that silica-like structure on the surface of RTV silicone rubber was formed by uv treatments and this layer have the characteristic of retaining the charges on surface for a long time. These charges have effects on its hydrophobicity and so adversely effects on contamination performance. Based on our results, we discussed the other degradation mechanism with well known ones.

  • The mold transformer has anti-burnt and possibility of small size contrary to oil-immersed transformer. The mold transformer has generally cooling duct between low voltage coil and high voltage coil and also made by one body molding for small size and low loss. In this paper, the temperature distribution of designed 50kVA pole mold transformer for power distribution is investigated by FEM program. The designed transformer is also manufactured and temperature rise test is carried out.

  • ZnO varistors have been widely used to protect power system and electronic system against overvoltages based on their excellent nonlinearity. In order to increase their protection capability, the fracture and protection technologies of arresters have to study according to their applications, namely ImA DC voltage, leakage currents, impulse residual voltages, withstanding capability to impulse surge, and energy absorption capability. ZnO varistors which have nonlinear current-voltage characteristic name a number of failure mechanism when ZnO elements absorb surge energies. Failure mode by thermal stress and Pin hole are among the most common failure mechanism at the high current surge current. In this study, the fracture mechaism of power arresters are introduced and protection technologies are researched. In particular the effect of thermal stress by surge currents to ZnO elements and methods against arc surge energy through withstand structure design of arrester are discussed.
