Study on the Department of Radiological Technology Students' Basic Vocational Competency Skills (방사선과 대학생의 기초직업능력 수준에 대한 연구)

  • As employment changes quickly in structure, enterprises put more and more stress on basic vocational competency skills. This study aimed to grasp the basic vocational competency skills of S College Department of Radiological Technology students and present the basic data. The gathered data was analyzed using T-Test and Oneway ANOVA. The analysis showed that the students mostly had average or higher levels in the seven areas of basic vocational competency skills. Reading and writing skills among communication skills were the lowest, followed by the skills of understanding global culture and using foreign languages among organization understanding skills, and then by numeracy skills. On the contrary, interpersonal relationship skills were the highest in level. This indicates that the students will establish good interpersonal relationships with hospital patients and members. There were also statistically significant differences in reading and writing skills among communication skills, numeracy skills, and the skills of understanding global culture and using foreign languages among organization understanding skills. This study measured the basic vocational competency skills of S College Department of Radiological Technology students, which might somewhat restrict the application of its results to the students of all universities. The results show that students should be instructed to improve the skills of communication, numeracy, organization understanding, self-management skills, etc. Therefore, it seems necessary using various programs customized to school years and student levels and performing education properly connected to industrial establishments to foster the workforce with excellent basic vocational competency skills.

Convergent Factors Related to Job Burnout among Hospital Administrative Staff (병원행정직의 직무소진과 관련된 융복합적 요인)

  • This study is executed to investigate convergent factors to job burnout(MBI-GS: Maslach Bunout Inventory-General Survey) among hospital administrative staff. The survey was administered to 201 staff from 9 general hospitals located in J area from Jul. 3rd, 2017 to Jul. 29th, 2017. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The MBI-GS of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which Organizational Commitment Questionnaire(OCQ) is lower, a group in which Type A Behavior Pattern(TABP) is higher, a group in which depression(CES-D: Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale) are higher. The results show explanatory power of 52.1%. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase OCQ, and to decrease TABP and CES-D, are required to improve the MBI-GS among hospital administrative staff. The results are expected to be useful for the program and human resource management to related to the MBI-GS among HAS. In the following study, the analysis of structural equation modeling about additional factors of the MBI-GS among hospital administrative staff will be needed.

  • 정보시스템 기획(IS planning)은 경영환경의 변화로부터 야기되는 조직의 정보요구 를 제대로 파악함으로써 새로운 정보시스템의 구축이나 실행과정에 반영하는 중요한 과업중 의 하나이다. 하지만, 아직까지 정보요구를 반영한 정보시스템 기획유형에 관한 연구나 정 보시스템 기획의 효과성에 관한 영향에 대한 실증적인 연구가 없었다. 그리하여, 본 연구에 서는 기업의 경쟁력 강화 목표를 달성하기 위해 필요한 정보시스템의 효율적인 관리와 활용 을 위하여 정보시스템 기획에 관한 상황 이론적 접근을 시도하였다. 본 연구는 과업환경을 중심으로 발생하는 정보요구의 유형에 따라 정보시스템 계획을 어떻게 추진하는 것이 바람 직한 것인지를 파악하고, 정보시스템을 기획 시 정보요구 수준과의 적합성(fitness)에 따라 정보시스템 기획의 효과성은 어떻게 달라지는 지를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구 에서 사용된 Construct와 변수들은 기존의 정보시스템 기획관련 문헌을 이용하였다. 본 연 구를 위하여 국내 매출액 1000대 기업을 대상으로 설문지를 우송하였으며, 그 중 187부가 회수되었다. 자료분석의 결과, 정보요구 수준과 정보시스템 기획유형간의 관련성은 긍정적 으로 관련되어 있었으며, 정보요구 수준에 따른 기획의 효과성에는 차이가 없었으나, 정보 시스템 기획유형에 따른 기획의 효과성은 유의한 차이가 있었다. 특히, 정보요구 수준과 정 보시스템 기획유형간의 적합성에 의한 정보시스템 기획의 효과성에 대한 t-test결과는 적합 한 조직(fit organization)보다는 적합하지 않은 조직(unfit organization)의 성과가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다.성 형질전환 계통의 식물체 내에서의 바이러스 증식 및 이동과 관련된 저항성 기작, 여러 가지 PVY 계통에 대한 저항성 유무, 수량, 생육 특성 및 주요 화학 성분 함량 등을 발표하고자 한다.-glucose로 구성된 다당류 이었다. 아미노산은 Asp 및 Glu의 산성 아미노산과 Ala, Leu 등의 함량이 높게 나타났으며, 비알칼리 추출물에서 Ser과 Thr의 함량이 높게 나타났다. 다당류 T-AS는 평균 분자량이 2,000 kD와 12kD에서 주 peak를 나타냈으며, 수용성 분획의 평균 분자량은 12kD이고 비수용성 분획은 36~2,000 kD의 평균 분자량 분포를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. IR과 NMR 분석 결과 890 cm-1에서 흡수 peak를 나타내어 $\beta$-(1,3)0glucan과 $\beta$-(1,6)-glucan의 구조를 갖는 다당류로 확인 되었다. T-AS 분획은 C:H:O:N의 함량비가 38.9:5.7:49.6:1.84%이며, 이 물질의 융점은 163 $^{\circ}C$로 연한 갈색을 나타낸다. 분리된 GLG의 항암활성 기전 규명을 위해, in vivo 항암실험, 항보체 활성능, 항체 생성능, serum protein 분비능, 대식세포의 탐식능과 활성능 및 세포간 물질 분비 등의 상관관계를 조사하였다. 다당류 GLG 분획물들 가운데 항보체의 활성이 높았던 분획은 sarcome 180에 대한 항암 활성이 높게 나타났다. 다당류 T-AS의 보체 활성화 기작은 classical과 alternative complement pathway의 양 경로를 통해 활성화 되었다.   • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the glass ceiling induction factors on the improvement of the job Commitment on the glass ceiling perception and to analyze the effect of the organizational Commitment on the influence of the local medical institute and private medical institute employees. Purpose. As a research method, structural equation model analysis was carried out to investigate the influence relationship of each factor. In particular, multiple group analysis was performed to analyze the difference of influence relations between public and private medical personnel. Respectively. Result, First, empirical studies on the effect of the glass ceiling inducing factors on job Commitment showed that job Commitment was influenced by stereotype and organizational culture, and the magnitude of the influence was different. Second, the employees of the room medical center were influenced by perceived promotion, job placement, education and training, reward, and job satisfaction. Third, in the hypothesis that job Commitment will be affected by the perception of glass ceiling, only the workers of the private medical center showed significant results. Based on the results of this study, it will be necessary to plan policies to improve the perception of the glass ceiling phenomenon and improve its status in order to improve the personnel and system that women workers in the medical field can enter more senior management positions.

Does Social Enterprise Provide a Decent Work to Women? (사회적기업은 괜찮은 여성일자리인가?)

  • Social enterprises can be identified roughly as social purpose-oriented business ventures. They often fill the gaps left by governmental and commercial ventures in providing for certain vulnerable sectors of society. Though social enterprises often adopt market mechanisms in their organizational structures, their emphasis on particular social outcomes means that they intentionally pursue double/triple-bottom lines, thus distinguishing them from many traditional for-profit businesses. Among the Korean laborers, women have been hardest hit by the global economic crisis. As the movements have substantially been taken to strengthen women's economic activities in the recent years, many policies are formulated with these trends, connecting women's employment with social enterprises. This study focused on analyzing social enterprises to be friendly and to provide decent work to women. Data were collected from 491 social enterprises and 830 workers. The main results are as follows. First, the women's employment in social enterprises has accounted for a relatively high rate and the women's wage also is similar to men's one. Second, as for work conditions and types, most women have preferred irregular and non-managerial work. Thus, social enterprises have showed a positive response for the women's job opportunities, while social enterprises have had a negative one for enhancing the women's status at the labor market. In conclusion, social enterprises should institutionalize how to provide more stable working condition to women and to improve their's capacity.

Study on the Organization of Government-managed Constructions at Dongnae Province in the 19c (19세기 동래 지역의 관영공사조직에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine process and organization of local government-managed construction by reviewing official documents and materials in regard to the official residences and castles officially constructed in Dongnae in the 19c Chosun Dynasty. Results of this study can be described as follows. 1) The construction of official residences requires exchanges of official documents among upper and lower governmental agencies concerned. Previously prepared for some 1 or 2 months, the construction was proceeded through proceeded from Paok to Gaegi, Ipju, Sangryang, Gaeok and to Iptaek. Such construction was carried out independently and concurrently Gijang and Yangsan neighboring Dongnae provided cooperation by way of supplying labor and timbers. 2) Dongnaebu castle was constructed under local autonomy system, like other government-oriented works, as governor of Dongnae became responsible for defending such establishment in 1739. The castle was built up in 1731 as an establishment with 6 gated and 15 forts. Directly controlled by governor of Dongnae, the castle continued to be partially repaired until the 19th century. Under the regime of Daewongun, the castle was enlarged and extended for military strengthening. Besides the gate having double-gated structure for the outside wall, the other five gates came to have bastions and 30 forts were additionally established, dramatically changing the structure of the castle as whole. 3) Government-managed construction was often implemented by an organization whose members included local government officials, lower administrative agencies and local influential persons. The construction of official residences was implemented by Gamyeokdogam which was headed by Jwasu of Hyangcheong. In the construction, chief of military officials became supervisor, who was responsibly supported by Saekri. The construction of castled were divided into several works, for example, establishments of fortress, tower gate and quarrying stone were implemented by the organization of Paejang, Gamkwan and Saekri. As a military official, Gamkwan supervised the construction. Saekri was in charge of related internal affairs. Paejang was an technical expert leading several workers. The construction of castles in 1870 were organized as a general rule having particularity of social conditions on Dongnae.

Business Incubator Manager's Competency Characteristics Affect Organizational Commitment and Work Performance : Focused on the Manager's Self-Efficacy (창업보육센터 매니저의 역량 특성이 조직몰입과 업무성과에 미치는 영향 : 매니저의 자기효능감을 중심으로)

  • Representative domestic start-up support organizations include the Business Incubator(BI), Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development(KISED), Techno Park(TP), and Center of Creative Economy Innovation(CCEI), and there are about 260 Business incubator nationwide. The Business incubator is operated by universities, research institutes, and private foundations or associations. The organization consists of the center director and the incubating professionals (hereinafter referred to as "manager"), etc., and performs tasks such as center operation management and incubation support services for tenant companies. Until now, research on the operation of Business Incubator has been mainly focused on the performance of tenant companies. Studies on whether the manager's competency characteristics directly or indirectly affect the performance of the tenant companies through psychological mediators such as self-efficacy and organizational commitment were very scarce. The purpose of this study is to explore various factors influencing organizational commitment and job performance by the competence characteristics of Business incubator managers, and to explain the causal relationship among those factors. In particular, the difference in perception was investigated by a manager's survey that influences organizational commitment and work performance at the Business incubator. Through this, we intend to present practical implications for the role of managers in the operation of Business incubators. This study is an exploratory study, and the subject of the study was a survey of about 600 managers working at Business incubator nationwide, of which 116 responses were analyzed. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability. Structural equation model analysis was performed for hypothesis tests. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the cognitive characteristics of the Business incubator manager, communication, and situational response as the behavioral characteristics had a positive effect on the manager's self-efficacy, and the behavioral characteristics had a greater effect on the self-efficacy. It was also found that the manager's cognitive and behavioral characteristics, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on organizational commitment and work performance. In particular, a manager's self-efficacy has a positive effect on organizational commitment and work performance. This result showed that the manager's competency characteristics increase the manager's self-efficacy as a mediating factor rather than directly affecting organizational commitment and work performance. This study explains that the manager's competency characteristics are transferred to organizational commitment and work performance. The results of the study are expected to reflect the job standard of the National Competency Standards (NCS) and basic vocational competency to the job competency of managers, and it also provides a guideline for the effective business incubator operation in terms of human resource management. In practice, it is expected that the results of the study can reflect the vocational basic skills of the Business Incubator manager's job competency in the National Competency Standards(NCS) section, and suggest directions for the operation of the Business Incubator and the manager's education and training.

Durability and Crack Control of Concrete Using Fluosilicates Based Composite (규불화염계 복합 조성물을 혼입한 콘크리트의 균열제어 및 내구성)

  • The crack presented in concrete structures causes a structural defect, the durability decrease, and external damages etc. Therefore, it is necessary to improve durability through the effort to control the crack. Fluosilicic acid($H_2SiF_6$) is recovered as aqueous solution which absorbs $SiF_4$ produced from the manufacturing of industrial-graded $H_3PO_4$ or HF. Generally, fluosilicates prepared by the reaction between $H_2SiF_6$ and metal salts. Addition of fluosilicates to cement endows odd properties through unique chemical reaction with the fresh and hardened cement. Mix proportions for experiment were modulated at 0.45 of water to cement ratio and $0.0{\sim}2.0%$ of adding ratio of fluosilicate salt based inorganic compound. To evaluate correlation of concrete strength and adding ratio of fluosilicate salt based inorganic compound, the tests were performed about design strength(21, 24, 27 MPa) with 0.5% of adding ratio of fluosilicate salt based inorganic compound. Applications of fluosilicate salt based inorganic compound to reduce cracks resulted from plastic and drying shrinkage, to improve durability are presented in this paper. Durability was evaluated as neutralization, chloride ion penetration depth, freezing thawing resistant tests and weight loss according reinforcement corrosion. It is ascertained that the concrete added fluosilicate salt based inorganic compound showed m ability to reduce the total area and maximum crack width significantly as compared non-added concrete. In addition, the durability of concrete improved because of resistance to crack and watertightness by packing role of fluosilicate salt based inorganic compound obtained and pozzolanic reaction of soluble $SiO_2$ than non-added concrete.

FOI and Government Records Management Reforms under Obama Administration (미국 정보자유제도와 정부기록관리 혁신 오바마 행정부의 정부개방정책을 중심으로)

  • Establishment and expansion of a FOI regime is a fundamental basis for modern democracy. Informed decisions and supports by the people are critical to establishment of democratic institutions and policies. The best tool to make informed decisions and to ensure accountability is the FOI. For effective FOI, good records management is necessary requirement. This paper observes and analyses the development of the FOI in the U.S., the Open Government policy, and the government records management reforms under Obama Administration to search viable solutions for Korean FOI and public records management reforms. Major revisions and advancement of the FOIA in the United States are examined, especially the revision of the FOIA as the OPEN Government Act of 2007. The FOIA revision enhanced greatly the freedom of information in the U.S. including the establishment of an independent FOI ombudsman by the Congress. The paper also discusses the Presidential memoranda on the Open Government and the FOI by President Obama, the following directives, Presidential memorandum on government records management and the Government Records Management Directive. Major contents of the directives, plans, and achievement are summarized and analysed. Finally, this paper compares the government records management reforms under former President Roh Mu Hyun with the Obama's reform drive. The comparison found that major difference in the "top-down" government records reforms are the difference in democratic institutions such as weak congressional politics, strong bureaucratic obstacles, and relatively weak social and professional supports for the reforms in Korea, while these reforms were similar in terms that they were driven by insightful political leaders. Independent FOI ombudsman and national records administration are necessary for such democratic reforms.

The Influence of Franchise Supervisor's Leadership on Franchisee's Trust and Commitment (가맹본부 관리자의 리더십이 가맹점의 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effects of supervisors' leadership style on franchisees' trust and commitment in a franchise system. We classified leadership into two styles - transformational leadership vs. transactional leadership, and it was hypothesized and tested that these two leadership styles have differential effects on trust and two different types of commitment - calculative commitment vs. affective commitment. A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect the data and a total number of 184 Korean franchisees in diverse industries participated to the survey. Using a structural equation modeling, we confirmed some differential effects of the two leadership styles. Transformational leadership was found to have positive effects on franchisees' trust in and affective commitment to the franchisor, while it has no effects on calculative commitment. On the other hand, transactional leadership was positively related to calculative commitment to the franchisor. But it had no effects on trust and affective commitment. Meanwhile, we also found that trust positively affects on both types of commitment. The results of this study suggest that the quality of franchisor-franchisee relationships can be improved by supervisor's strong leadership, especially by transformational leadership, and that transformational leadership, when compared to transactional leadership, is more important for developing a long-term and stable franchisor-franchisee relationship.
