Time Poverty and Mental Health of Women with Children -Moderated Mediation of Income - (자녀가 있는 여성의 시간빈곤과 정신건강 -스트레스의 매개효과와 소득의 조절된 매개효과-)

  • Women with children suffer from double burden of childcare and household labor. Based on the framework of social determinants of mental health, this study investigated the moderated mediation effect of income in the relationship between time poverty and mental health among women with children. The study sample included 1,505 women from the $6^{th}$ wave of Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families (KLoWF). Results showed that the lower level of time poverty was associated with decreased stress and depression, and stress mediated the relationship between time poverty and depression. Income had a moderated mediation effect in the relationship between time poverty, stress, and depression. Time poor women were more vulnerable to poor mental health, and income buffered the effect of time poverty on women's mental health. This implies that women in the lower end of socioeconomic ladder are more prone to the effect of time poverty. The study speaks to the importance of social factors on mental health which has usually been considered an individual problem. Policies and services need to address women's working conditions and income security in order to increase their mental health.

The Mediation Effect of Emotional Regulation Ability on the Relationship between Social Anxiety and Relational Aggression of Higher Grade Elementary School Girls (초등학교 고학년 여학생의 사회불안이 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향: 정서조절능력의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this research is to verify the mediation effect of emotional regulation on the relationship between social anxiety and relational aggression in higher-grade elementary school girls. The research was conducted with 177 female students in grades 4, 5, and 6 attending an elementary school in Inchon, South Korea, and the results were used as a social anxiety scale, an emotional regulation ability scale, and a relational aggression scale. From using the data for multiple regression analysis, the results of this study are as follows. First, social anxiety showed a significant negative correlation with emotional regulation, and showed a significant positive correlation with relational aggression. Emotional regulation and social anxiety showed a significant negative correlation with relational aggression. Second, emotional regulation was fully mediated from the effect of social anxiety on relational aggression. Third, as a result of verifying the mediating effects from subordinate factors of emotional regulation on the relationship between social anxiety and relational aggression, positive emotional regulation, such as problem-centered coping support seeking was found to be partially mediated, whereas negative emotional regulation, such as emotional divergence, aggressive expression, and avoidance, was found to be fully mediated. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study are discussed.

The Effects of Fear of Negative Evaluation, Cognitive Emotional Regulation on Field Adaptation of New Graduate Nurses (부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 인지적 정서조절이 신규간호사의 현장적응에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships between fear of negative evaluation, cognitive emotion regulation and field adaptation of new graduate nurses and the possible moderating effect of cognitive emotion regulation. The participants of this study were 181 new graduate nurses who have worked for less than 1 year at a hospital, data was collected by using self-report questionaires. The results of this study were fear of negative evaluation score 3.25, cognitive emotion regulation score 3.18 and field adaptation score 2.92. Fear of negative evaluation had a positive correlation with maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation, and a negative correlation with field adaptation, and did not have on moderating effect. As this results, it strengthen field adaptation for new graduate nurses in a new circumstance through self-esteem enhancement programs. It is also required to manage by using an adaptive cognitive emotion regualtion.

The Effect of Middle School Students' Emotional Trauma to Internet·Smart Phone Addiction : The Moderating Effect of Self-Esteem (중학생의 정서적 외상경험이 인터넷·스마트폰 중독 성향에 미치는 영향 : 자아존중감의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the moderating effect of self-esteem between emotional trauma and internet smart phone addiction of adolescents. For this purpose, this study confirmed moderating effect by setting emotional trauma as predicting variable, self-esteem as moderating variable and internet smart phone addiction as dependent variable. The study conducted a questionnaire survey on 645 middle school students regarding emotional trauma, self-esteem and internet smart phone addiction. The results of this study are as follows; first, emotional trauma had negative correlation with self-esteem and positive correlation with internet smart phone addiction. Self-esteem had negative correlation with internet smart phone addiction. Second, as the result of hierarchical regression analysis, there was an interaction effect of emotional trauma and self-esteem on internet smart phone addiction. The meaning of this study are as follows; first, it is proved that one of the causes of internet smart phone addiction is adolescent's emotional trauma and, second, it is proved that the intervention of self-esteem is required to reduce the negative effect of adolescent's emotional trauma. That is, it turned out that self-esteem moderated the relationship between emotional trauma and internet smart phone addiction.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of stress in families of children with disabilities upon a problem-solving ability based on a buffering effect of family resilience through life cycle. To achieve this purpose, the subjects in this study was 546 parents who have kindergarten, elementary, middle & high school students in special schools. The date for this study were derived from questionaries and the answer sheet was analyzed by SPSS(VER. 14). A descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, hierarchical moderating regression analysis were used to investigate the general information and the difference of perception between groups. The findings of this study were as follows: Higher belief system, higher organization type, higher communication process of the family with disabled children tend to appear more positive influences on buffering effects for stresses of family and solving-problem abilities. Findings from the current study demonstrate that the buffering effect of family resilience indicate to have positive influences on the relationship between the stress and the problem-solving ability in the family with disabled children.

  • Previous findings on Organizational Citizenship Behaviors is a useful index for effectiveness of the organization. Also, it is a factor that explains the relation between its member's attitude and behavior as organizational commitment had been stabilized. Since autonomy and rapidity has become more important in increasing the efficiency of the organization, this means Organizational Citizenship Behaviors has become important in it. Organizational Citizenship Behaviors of the members occurs only when discretion and autonomy are given to its members. Therefore, this study aimed at measuring the effects of police officer's personal dispositions on organizational citizenship behaviors, exploring the moderation effect of organization culture, and providing the basis with implications to promote the Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in the police Organization. By reviewing previous finding, Police Officer's Personal Dispositions were selected as independent variables, Organizational Citizenship Behaviors was selected as dependent variable. and Organizational Culture was selected as moderation variable. The result of analysis showed that The belief & The Norm influenced in Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(positive), and The Value in Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative). Study on Moderating Effect of Psychological Flexibility at Impact on Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness affects Subjective Well-being ; College Students (정서표현 양가성이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 심리적 유연성의 조절효과 연구 ; 대학생을 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate moderating effect of psychological flexibility on impact which students feel ambivalence over emotional expressiveness in interpersonal relationships. In summary, the results are as follows. Self-defence ambivalence is strong negative influence on subject well-being but concerned-relation ambivalence is not affect at subject well-being. Also, moderating effect of psychological flexibility in concerned-relation ambivalence is not appear on subjective well-bing while self-defence ambivalence is shown moderating effect of psychological at subjective well-being. These results are mean that concerned-relation itself contains psychological flexibility role and psychological flexibility is negative influence on self-defence ambivalence and positive influence at subjective well- being. Moderating effect of psychological flexibility is shown that as important role subjective well-being. So students will need to help accommodate an active experience in the field allow s college students to raise their own psychological flexibility.

  • We investigated how entrepreneurship, information technology acceptance, and media utilization influence on office worker commitment and how effects are modulated by learning orientation. The purpose of this study is to identify variables that influence on office worker commitment. To do so, entrepreneurship, information technology acceptance, and media utilization that are the core competencies of individuals and organizations in the era of smart information are proposed as predictor variables, office worker commitment as a outcome variable and learning orientation as a modulator. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on office workers, and finally 340 valid questionnaires are used for analysis. Hierarchical regression analysis is used with demographic characteristics as control variables and learning orientation as a modulating variables. A result showed that the higher need for achievement and proactiveness of entrepreneurship is, the higher job commitment is and that the perceived usefulness of information technology acceptance and communication utilization ability of media utilization competitiveness have a positive effect on job commitment. A research showed that learning orientation is modulating the relationship between entrepreneurship and job commitment, and between media utilization capability and job commitment, respectively. We concluded that we should actively seek synergies of learning orientation along with accumulation of online communication utilization capacity and perceived usefulness of information technology, and of proactiveness need for achievement and in entrepreneurship in order to improve the work committment in the smart information society where the digital environment is advanced.

The Effects of The concentration Program Based on Acceptance-Commitment Therapy with High School Students (수용전념치료 기반 집중력프로그램이 고등학생들의 집중력 증가에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of the this study was to evaluate the effects of self-Control, avoidance cognitive fusion, concentration and learning attitude with high school students. For this, the group acceptance-commitment therapy programs were administered for 12 sessions on a weekly basis. 10 high school students were assigned to treatment group and 10 were assigned to control group. Both pre- post- follow-up of self-Control, avoidance cognitive fusion, concentration and learning attitude were assessed. The results were as the treatment group reported significantly lower avoid fusion to the control group. In addition, the treatment group reported significantly higher score level of self-Control, concentration and learning attitude compared to control. Results indicate that the treatment group is more capable than the control group, of decreasing avoid fusion, while increasing self-Control, concentration and learning attitude. This results suggest that can be applied effectively. Finally, limitations of the present study and suggestions were discussed.

The Mediation Effect of Cognitive Self-Regulated Learning Strategy in the Relationships between Self-Efficacy and Achievement in Science (과학영역에서의 자기효능감과 학업성취의 관계에서 인지적 자기조절학습전략의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate relationships among scientific self-efficacy, achievement in science and cognitive self-regulation learning strategy. The subjects were composed of 158 elementary school students. Data of students' self-efficacy related to science and cognitive self-regulation learning strategy measured by questionnaire were analyzed. Science achievement scores were also collected. The results indicated that self-efficacy and cognitive self-regulation learning strategy predicted science scores. The findings showed that cognitive selfregulation learning strategy mediated the relation between self-efficacy and achievement in science. Memory learning strategy, considered a cognitive self-regulation learning strategy, did not mediate the relation between self-efficacy and science scores. The implications of science education to develop students' science achievement in the classroom and the suggestions for future researchers are discussed.
