Design and Implementation of LED Lighting System with Adjustable Brightness and Color Capability (색상 및 밝기 조절이 가능한 LED 조명 기구의 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, we design and implement a lighting system which has a capability of adjusting brightness and colors of LED module. The lighting systems is consisted of RGB and white LEDs controlled by a micro-processor. All colors in nature can be synthesized in our lighting system by controlling brightness of 4 color LEDs individually. The current flowing to LED is limited to a maximum set value to extend the LED life time using PWM current control. The control module also includes the function that it can save and load brightness and color data set by the user. The implemented lighting system passed the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) test such that it can be used as a commercial product.

  • 본 연구에서는 조명 환경의 영향을 크게 받는 사무 공간의 조명환경 실태를 조사하였다. 고효율 조명기기를 이용하는 사무 공간 내의 조도를 측정하고, 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 사무 공간이 KS조도 기준보다 높은 수준을 나타낸데 비하여, 균제도, 글레어(눈부심) 등 조명의 질적 요건에 대한 배려가 부족하여 시환경에 대한 평가는 좋지 않은 경향을 나타냈다.

New Lighting Control System for Light Devices (새로운 조명기기 점등제어 시스템)

  • In this paper, new efficient lighting control system for light devices is proposed to reduce power consumption and increases LED life-cycle and heat efficiency of LED lighting module. The new proposed lighting control system for light devices divides into 4 stages according to the illuminance surrounding by measuring illuminance and apply to automatic pattern lighting algorithm. And via level check will be light up for set time by applying intersection lighting algorithm of magic square pattern forming a fully symmetrical. Experimental analysis results, shows heating value and power consumption reduced to maximum 30 percent and lifetime of LED improved to maximum 60 percent in comparison with previous lighting system so applying system to LED streetlight, stable and high energy efficiency can be acquired.

  • 일본에서 지진의 여파로 전력난이 갈수록 심각해지면서 최근 친환경 고효율 발광다이오드(LED) 조명 시장이 특수를 누리고 있다는 보도를 심심찮게 접할 수 있다. 전력 수요가 집중되는 올 여름이면 가정과 기업들의 전력 사정이 더욱 악화될 것으로 예상되기 때문이다. LED 조명을 사용하면 백열등에 비해 전력 소모량을 10분 1가량으로 줄일 수 있지만, 고가의 제품은 무려 10배나 가격이 높다. 이처럼 LED 조명 시장이 특수를 누리자 제조 업체들도 증산에 적극 나서고 있다. 본 고는 Optronics 2011년 3월호에 개재된 Fuji Chimera 종합연구소 제1연구개발본부의 이에시마히데키씨가 기고한 내용으로서 일본을 비롯한 세계의 LED산업을 둘러싼 현상의 주요한 조류와 향후 전망에 관해 소개하고 있다.

  • This paper proposes a novel design of auto light control system with high efficiency using RS-485 to save lighting energy in new and existing buildings. The proposed system consists of ALSU(Auto Light Sensor Unit) which is connected with RS-485 to control lighting appliances, ALS(Auto Light Unit), and Hi-FACS which is a monitoring system using communication interface. lighting appliances are automatically controlled by ALSU which detects moving objects. The total system is designed to be controlled by either manual or auto mode by using the ALS. In addition, the monitoring system receives the information on the state of the lighting appliances from ALSU and ALS to control the proposed system We compared the proposed system with the conventional one in functionality and energy saving point of view. Through some experimental results, the proposed system shows better performance in various circumstances.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a lighting apparatus of the illuminance and color temperature to maximize the ability of the optimal combination of light sources that can be controlled efficiently control device. Finding people comfortable feeling for indoor lighting that can be used in a variety of color temperature illumination area by combining light sensitivity can be realized.
