Size-effect Correction for Pavement Concrete Flexural Strength Test (포장 콘크리트 휨인장강도 시험체에 대한 크기효과 보정)

  • Size-effect correction factors of the flexural test specimens, which had controled cement concrete pavement quality, were investigated and derived to be easily used in field. We couldn't find the size-effects in this size range (10, 12, 15cm) of specimens, which were made of 32mm crushed aggregates, and the theoretical verification was presented by Bazant's equations. Finally, non-dimensional chart for size-effect correction was proposed, covering the relationship between compressive strengths and w/c ratios.

인간봉사조직분의 효과성(效果性) 평가연구(評價硏究) -저소득층(低所得層)을 위한 진료소(診療所)의 경우-

  • 이 논문은 저소득층(低所得層)을 위한 소규모 인간봉사조직분의 효과성(效果性)에 관한 평가연구(評價硏究)를 소개한 것이다. 클라이언트에게 만족스러운 서어비스를 제공하고, 충분한 클라이언트를 확보하고, 요원(要員)들간의 갈등과 긴장을 최소한으로 줄이고, 조직분의 유연성을 유지하는 네 가지 중요한 진료소조직분의 활동들을 평가(評價)하였다. 이들 활동을 "이중(二重) 목표(目標)" (Dual Goal)의 이론을 바탕으로 하는 목적개념(目的槪念)에 입각해서, 외부(外部) 또는 내부(內部) 지향적(指向的) 목표달성(目標達成)을 위한 것으로 양분(兩分)했다. 이러한 활동들을 18개 진료소(診療所)에서 709명의 저소득층 클라이언트들과 133명의 요원(要員)들을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사(設問調査)와 현장시찰(現場視察)을 통해서 평가하였다. 이 결과, 효과성규준치간(效果性規準値間)의 상호연관성(相互聯關性), 효과성(效果性)과 관련된 진료소조직분의 구조적(構造的) 및 인간적(人間的) 특성(特性)에 관하여 연구(論究)하였다.

  • Remanufacturing is a series of industrial process by which retired or non-functional products are restored to a like-new condition. The remanufacturing industry provides much more economical and environmental benefits in view of significant materials and energy savings than existing material recycling way. It also has an effect on the substitute of natural resources, and gives the opportunity of high employment creation due to its highly labor intensive work. This paper thus presents the features of remanufacturing and its various benefits, and current status of domestic and overseas remanufacturing industry including USA, Europe, Japan and China. Furthermore, three major tasks for promoting the remanufacturing industry in Korea have been proposed based on the analysis of remanufacturing activities, technologies and related system in advanced countries.

NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON STATIC STIFFNESS CHARACTERISTICS OF POROUS AIR BEARING CONSIDERING ROUGHNESS EFFECTS (조도효과를 고려한 다공질 공기베어링의 정강성 특성에 관한 수치해석 연구)

  • This study aims to investigate numerically the static stiffness characteristics of porous air bearing and to estimate appropriate permeability values of porous medium. In particular, a new roughness model is proposed and implemented into the commercial CFD code (FLUENT Ver. 6.2) by using C language based user subroutine. The predicted results are extensively compared with experimental data. The roughness model is also validated through comparison with the results from open literature. It is found that the predictions for static stiffness are in good agreement with experimental data. Therefore, the suggested model based on the roughness Reynolds number can be used in studying the stiffness characteristics of porous air bearing effectively. In addition, numerical simulations of various diameter size and conditions are conducted. According the results, it is expected that the static stiffness of porous air bearing has the non-linear characteristics.

  • 우리 나라의 터널 조명은 운전자의 시야상태를 저해하는 불균일한 조도 균제도, 터널 내의 플리커 현상, 심한 눈부심 등과 함께 낮은 기구효율, 낮은 조명률, 높은 에너지 소비 등의 문제점을 갖고 있다. 이러한 것들을 개선하기 위해서 터널용 고효율 조명기구의 반사판을 개발하였고, 개발된 조명기구는 기구 자체 효율이 10%이상 상승함으로써 에너지의 절감과 조명효과의 상승을 가져왔으며, 기구 대수의 저감으로 건축비를 축소시켰다. 또한 이것을 이용한 터널조명에서는 평균조도 200[lx]이상, 전반 균제도 0.4이상, 차선축 균제도 0.7이상, 단위 면적당 소비전력 3.7 [W/$m^2$]이하의 효과를 얻었다.
