Effects of Korean Wave Contents on Vietnamese Consumers' Purchase Intention of Korean Cosmetics (한류 콘텐츠가 베트남 소비자의 한국화장품 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • With the spread of the Korean Wave culture, the importance of the effects of Korean Wave contents and the direct and indirect effects on product purchase is increasing. In the early days, the Korean Wave started around K-Pop and K-Dramas, but now its scope has been expanded to include various contents. In the case of Vietnam, interest in K-Sports has recently increased, and the influence of K-SNS is also increasing. Accordingly, in this study, a research model was established and tested to investigate the relationship between product image and attitude toward Korean cosmetics, and purchase intention for Korean cosmetics consumers in Vietnam. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, among the four factors of Korean Wave contents, K-Pop, K-Drama, and K-SNS had a positive effect on product image, while K-Sports was found to have no significant effect. Second, it was confirmed that the product image of Korean cosmetics has a positive effect on product attitude, and the product attitude has a positive effect on purchase intention. Therefore, in the Vietnamese cosmetics market, it is suggested that focusing on the product image focusing on Korean Wave contents, and promoting activities can achieve effective results for the purchase intention of Vietnamese consumers.

  • Today's fast-paced world is becoming increasingly characterized by technology-facilitated transactions. Growing numbers of customers interact with technology to create service outcomes instead of interacting with a service firm employee. Self-service technologies provide technological interfaces that enable customers to produce a service independent of direct service employee involvement. To investigate on the customer satisfaction with self-technological based product design in Subway. I used the critical incident technique developed by Flanagan(1954) with quantitative measures of attributions. In this research, it results that customers are considered more important the value of technological-function and easy to use than the aspect of automated machine. It is likely that the technological aspect of many self-service options has a unique influence on customer perceptions of self-service encounters. Also, Research has shown that customer's needs are defined as situations in which external environmental factors add a sense of urgency to the transaction and saved time. On the other hand, customers realize that their favorable image of self-technological based product follows as ; first, customers prefer to the simple & modern image on the aspect of product design, secondly, customers prefer to the hitech-functional image to do its job fast in a short time by automated technology on the aspect of functional service, thirdly, customers prefer to the comfortable and sanitary image to be suitable for the underground circumstance.

  • This study is on the color expression of 100 male bike helmet products examining color image scale with high preference, PCCS color system applied color analysis and influence of color in decision making. The targets are all domestically distributed male bike helmets. The image scale was divided into 4 sections (Soft, Hard, Dynamic and Static) by color, and color image scale was analyzed to top 10 priority products. And analysis according to PCCS color system was made. Finally, questionnaire survey was carried out to analyze the influence of color on purchase decision making. The questionnaire survey was carried out to male in 20s~50s who were the member of 18 bike clubs in S agent in Seoul. 414 out of 422 sheets except for 8 insufficient ones were used. The results can be divided into 3.

These results of the research model provide that the relationship between brand image and purchase attitude on IT new product.   • TFT Color LCD 가 보급화되면서 모바일 폰 뿐만 아니라 우리 생활에 친근하게 사용되고 있는 가전 제품 인터페이스 영역에도 점차 그 활용범위가 넓어지고 있는 추세이다. 또, 가전 제품의 역할이 단순히 식품을 보관하거나 집안의 온도를 시원하게 바꿔주는 기본 기능 중심에서, 가족간 커뮤니케이션을 돕는 역할 또는 다양한 정보를 전달해주는 엔터테인먼트 기능 중심으로 변화해 가고 있다. 최근 이러한 복잡한 기능을 편리하게 수행하면서도 동시에 가족 모두가 사용할 수 있는 친근한 인터페이스 디자인을 개발하는데 있어서 캐릭터라는 소재는 유용하게 활용 되고 있다. 가전 제품에서 캐릭터의 활용 부분은 첫 번째, 사용자에게 피드백 정보를 좀더 친근하게 전달하는 것이다. 제품의 상태나 어떤 동작에 대한 수행 결과를 텍스트 혹은 아이콘 위주의 전달 방법보다 좀더 친근하게 표현할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 두 번째는 프로그래스 애니메이션 부분이다. 제품이 어떤 기능을 수행하고 있는지 캐릭터의 동작을 통해 명확하게, 그리고 재미있게 전달해주는 기능이다. 세 번째는 메시지 전달 측면이다. 가족간의 메모 전달이나 생일, 기념일 등에 대한 축하 메시지를 캐릭터가 메신저 역할을 함으로써 좀더 밝고 경쾌한 환경을 만들어준다. 마지막으로, 대기화면이나 화면보호기 부분이다. 제품을 사용하지 않는 상태에서 사용자가 원하는 이미지로 설정이 가능하도록 하여 개인화 부분을 충족시킬 수 있다. 이와 같이, 멀티미디어 기기나 모바일 폰과 같은 개인 중심형 제품이 아닌 가족 중심형 가전 제품의 인터페이스 디자인에는 친근한 이미지가 부가된 캐릭터의 활용이 사용성은 물론 감성적 측면에서도 좀더 사용자 중심의 인터페이스 디자인을 완성해 가는데 긍정적인 역할을 수행할 것이다.

  • The corporate image in the modern competitive industry is one of the most important factors that invites customer's desire of purchase. The purpose of this study is to find out how the corporate image influences to the customer value and loyalty deciding customer's desire of repurchase and is to know the important factors of corporate image. The results of this study is that corporate image has an effect on customer value and satisfaction. Also customer value influences on customer satisfaction. Customer value and satisfaction have an effect on customer loyalty as the important factors. Through the results, customer's high recognition of the corporate has an influence on customer value.

Antecedents of Attitudes Toward Private Brands from the Perspective of Image Congruence (이미지 일치성 관점에서 본 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성의 선행 변수들)

  • Despite importance of private brands in the retail industry, not many studies have been performed on factors affecting consumers' attitude formation toward private brands. This study tries to understand attitude formation toward private brands from the perspective of image congruence. Focusing on three types of image congruence-image congruence between a private brand and a consumer's self, image congruence between a store and a product category used for a private brand, and image congruence between a store and a consumer's self - this study explores relationships and effects of these three types of image congruence on attitudes toward private brands. According to results, image congruence between a private brand and a consumer's self has the strongest effect among three types of image congruence. Image congruence between a store and a product category also has a significant positive effect on attitudes toward private brands. Effects of image congruence between a store and a consumer's self on attitudes toward private brands were opposite to the hypothesized direction, and explanations about the unexpected result are provided.

  • The importance of corporate social responsibility has been more highlighted recently for the sustainable management of the company. The purpose of this study is to empirically find out if the effects of CSR activities on public corporation are shown as same as they are on the private companies which have been verified in the previous studies. We set 'CSR activities' and 'Brand Image' to the independent variables and 'Corporate favorableness' and 'Purchase intention' to the dependent variables. The empirical analysis results are as follows. We have found that high positive causal relations are shown in 'CSR activities' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Corporate favorableness', 'CSR activities' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Purchase intention' and 'Brand image' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Corporate favorableness', 'Brand image' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Purchase intention'. Therefore just as product related 'Brand image' influences positively on purchase intention, the CSR activities have positive influence on product purchase intention and on the whole corporate image as well.

  • The study aims to understand how indirect hallyu experiences in the Chinese market affect Korea's national brand image and willingness to purchase Korean goods from the perspective of "content consumption" and "recognition of Korea's." To that end, a total of 178 Chinese university students in the Beijing and Shanghai regions were analyzed. According to research and analysis, the perception of indirect hallyu experience has had a positive affection not only on the Korean national image but also on the willingness to purchase Korean products. Also, the halo effect came as Korea's national image had a positive effect on quite a lot of intentions to buy Korean merchandise. The recognition of South Korea can be enhanced by the spread of hallyu, which can be a decisive gauge of a favorable impression of the country in a short time.
