물리적 제품과 디지털 제품 판매 웹사이트 특성의 비교 분석

  • 본 연구에서는 인터넷 비즈니스 웹사이트를 물리적인 제품을 판매하는 웹사이트와 디지털 제품을 판매하는 웹사이트간에 웹사이트 평가 영역을 잣대로 삼아 차이가 발생하는 지를 분석하였다. 웹사이트 평가영역에 사용될 평가기준을 도출하기 위해 성공한 국내외 웹사이트 사례와 평가업체의 기준, 그리고 성공적인 웹사이트 구축요소 등을 토대로 새로운 평가기준 모형을 제시하였다. 이 모형을 토대로 고객지향적 요인, 컨텐츠 및 제품 정보와 관련된 요인, 디자인 및 인터페이스와 관련된 요인, 그리고 사용성과 관련된 요인 등 4가지의 중요요인과 각각에 대한 전체 15개의 하위 평가요인을 도출하였다. 그리고 직접적인 고객 지각 데이터를 통해 실증 분석함으로써 두 그룹간의 차이를 규명하고자 하였다. 결론적으로 대분류 요인에서는 고객지향적 요인이, 소분류 요인에서는 거래상의 안전성, 메뉴의 적절성, 그리고 참신성 등이 유의적인 결과가 도출되었다.

  • It takes only few seconds to find an artifact that has anthropomorphic form. There are numerous examples illustrating human's shape in daily life products. Usage of anthropomorphic form has been a basic design strategy especially when industrial designers design intelligent service robots because most of robot features were basically from human. Therefore, it's necessary to use anthropomorphic form not only in appearance design but also in interaction design. To use anthropomorphic form effectively, it needs to measure how much the artifact is similar to human, and then to evaluate whether the usage of anthropomorphic form fits to the artifact. This study's goal was to set up an evaluation standard for anthropomorphism for robot design. We suggest that there are three criteria for the evaluation standard. Those are 'anthropomorphic form in appearance', 'anthropomorphic form in Human-Robot Interaction', and 'accordance in two former criteria'. We expect that when designers put an evaluation step of anthropomophism in their design process of robots, robots might become more preferred by users, and easier to understand how to interact with.

  • To date, the technology competence and design have been understood as the pre-requirements required in the midst of unlimited competition age. It is true that the most of the companies handle the practical or the aesthetic part of the product individually especially in the field of ceramic industry. Accordingly, it is difficult to create the identity of the company. However, the Rosental Co., Ltd in Germany had acquired the corporate identity already by means of the creative process and the design as well from the middle of 1900s and it has been reputed as a company producing the products through the unique design management. Especially, the identity of Rosental has been formed more uniquely with "jury system" verifying not the design results but the development process, independent brand marketing and the experimental mind such as the collaboration with the pure artists. Especially, the participation of the artists to the design development enables to evaluate the ceramic products not only as the simple products for daily life but also as the luxury goods for appreciation and collection. In addition, Rosental shows that the corporate identity may be created not only with the products simply but also completed with the internal external factors of the company through design management skill.

  • The thesis is a study of the information model for the information collection and systematization in the way of product design. In the past, the design was made by the designers hands, worked with the material directly, but today's product design, the material diverted to information, can be considered as it is made essentially through information collection and systematization processing. If the product design is considered the information processing, usually it means a qualitative change of the product design information, not a quantitative change of the information theory. A focus of the study is to grope for a way of changing the subject to information, dealing with when the product design intends to purposes, not the material, When a way of the product design was discussed to solve the problems rationally, in the past, if it is considered as quantitative, qualitative and organic methods and modeling as their means based on the process model, [analysis-generalization-estimation], are formal ism, the way of product design as information is that the product direction as a substance should go through the design information processing, making an alternative plan with the information model cycling to natural order. Because success or failure of the product design in the future depends on information as material.

  • Nowadays, the design and development of footwear are focused on not only to protect feet against some injuries also to satisfy its personality and high-quality based on customer' subjective sensibilities. Many image source based human sensibility is needed to establish concept of footwear by new idea in design process. For satisfying costumer's and designer's disires, this study is concerned to evaluate and analyze images using human sensibility and construct image source D/B according to the result. The image evaluation performed by internet is used 1,000 Images classified into four groups(structure or architecture, transportation device, natural articles and home appliance), and 300 subjects are participated. Finally, the web D/B is constructed by the result of image evaluation that is performed statistical analysis(basic statistic, factoranalysis and multi-scaled analysis).

A Study on the Development of Product Design Database Based on Product Attributes (제품속성을 기반으로 한 제품디자인 데이터베이스 개발에 대한 기초적 연구)

  • Considering product as mass of information, it is very critical for designers to have good means of accessing to and organizing information on products. However, designers conventionally depend on their experience, bunch of catalogues, or short visit to some fairs for gathering information on products. There are no systematically organized information for designing new products. If any, those are ones developed by market researchers or engineers who speak fundamentally different language from designers. It is needed to develop the information system through which designer can get insights on the essence of product and communicate information with various persons involved in new product planning. At first, the design information in product planning is discussed and the necessity of development of new design information system is emphasized. Then, product is understood as a composite of various attributes and a set of fundamental attributes of product is defined by surveying and summarizing existing theories of product attributes: namely technological, human, and market attributes. The possibility of new design information system is explored by analyzing various relationships between attributes of different products. Computer program 'DISPP' displays various visual information of product itself, perceptual map, trend slope, profile chart and general information of manufacturer, style, color, price, size. Finally, findings of thesis are concluded and further prospects of the study are proposed.

  • 디자인 개발시 사용자 참여의 중요성이 날로 증가하고 있는 것은 자명한 사실이다. 그중 사용성 평가에 서의 사용자의 참여는 비교적 활발한 상태이다. 하지만, 현재 기본적으로 행해지고 있는 렙에서의 사용 성 평가는 여러 가지 면에서 극히 제한적이며 비용이 많이 들고, 시간 또한 많이 소비된다. 또한 이러 한 평가는 광범위한 데이터의 수집과 빠른 피드백을 얻는 데 여러 가지 문제점을 가지고 있다. 우리가 사용성 평가에서 필요로 하는 것은 빠르고 정확한 피드백을 광범위하게 수집하여 디자인에 제공할 수 있는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 디자인 개발에 있어 앞에서 설명한 빠르고 광범위한 사용자의 피드백을 얻기위한 방법으로 인터넷을 사용하여 사용자의 직접적인 참여-사용성 평가 등-가 가능하게 되었다는 것에 초점을 맞추었다. 사용성 평가를 위한 프로토 타이핑과 사용자의 문화적 배경과 성향을 가늠할 수 있는 질문들을 인터넷의 홈페이지에 올려 각각의 서로 다른 문화권에 속해 있는 사용자들이 제품 디자인 개발 과정에서 되는 사용자의 테스트 데이터를 원격 수집하여 디자인 평가/개발에 즉각적인 피드백을 제시하여 디자인 프로 세스에서의 사용자의 참여를 극대화 시킨다. 이렇게함으로써 상당한 분량의 상용성 평가를 단시간에 시행 하는 것이 가능하며 서로 다른 문화권에 속해있는 사용자의 관념적 특성과 사용형태의 현상적 특성을 밝히 고 이들간의 관계를 연계 분석하여 데이터의 질적인 향상또한 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on Intelligent Image Database based on Fuzzy Set Theory (퍼지이론에 기초한 지적 감성검색시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Among Human Sensibility-oriented products a gap between the images that designers try to express through that product and users emotional evaluation becomes an issue. The data on the correlation between image words used for design evaluation and images used in the design process are especially significant. This study based on these correlations suggests a Fuzzy retrieval system supporting styling design with images and image words. In the system, the relational data are demonstrated by Fuzzy thesaurus as correlation coefficient from the degree of similarity among image words. And the degree of similarity is produced based on image evaluation. Image retrieval is conducted by the algorithm of Fuzzy thesaurus development, 1) among image words, 2) images to image words, 3) image words to images and 4) among images: 4 different modes are provided as retrieval modes. Also transfer between modes is carried by direct operating interface, therefore divergent thinking and convergent thinking is supported well. The system consists of operation for the gap and the measurement unit of emotional evaluation, and visualization units. Under unified interface environments are set in order for consistency of the operation.
