This study proposes an integrated monitoring system for data reliability improvement in a steel manufacturing industry. The data obtained from existing steel manufacturing process is not micro data which is gathered at the occurring point, but average value (macro data) which is gathered from the occurring point to ending point. This kind of macro data is not only difficult for a detailed analysis for an error causing factor, but it might cause a fatal influence as well on the quality of produced goods even if the error is within an error tolerance. And during the process of steel production, thousands of data is produced in a second, thus requiring database plan to manage abundant amount of data. Therefore, the following proposed system is capable of collecting as well as analyzing all the data generated from the process of product production. And the system was able to raise the efficiency of the database server by planning the database to handle large capacity data. Also, by applying web-based technology, inquiries and analysis of data with no limit on time and space was possible with PC connected to the intranet. Hence, the system was able to work on effective quality improvement of manufactured products, plus able to raise the reliability of the product. Also, accumulated data from long period of time was used for fundamental material for new controlling model, operation technology, and new product development.

Recently, Networks are required to adopt the security system and security consulting because of security threats and vulnerabilities of systems. Enterprise Security Management (ESM) is a system which establishes the security zone composed of security systems and Firewalls and applies the security policy to each security system. A relevant ESM is based on the effective policy and the proper security system. Particularly, multiple firewalls in ESM are concerned with the security policy about each traffic. In this paper, we describe the problems that can be occurred when we select the firewalls to apply security policy of access control in ESM composed of multiple firewalls and propose the FALCON algorithm, which is able to select the firewalis to apply the policy. We expect that FALCON algorithm offers stability, scalability and compactness for selecting firewall set.

데이터의 통합과 공유 환경을 위해 탄생한 DBMS는 그 규모가 계속 커지고 있으며 형태도 복잡해지고 있다. 또한 Database가 네트워크 상에서 분산되어 있을 때, 제품이나 플랫폼이 다를 경우에는 서로간의 데이터를 공유하기가 어렵다 CORBA는 이종의 분산된 환경에서 여러 종류의 응용 프로그램들이 서로 통합될 수 있는 표준 분산 객체 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특징을 가진 CORBA를 이용하여 여러 종류의 이질적인 데이터베이스 시스템을 논리적으로 통합시켜, 사용자가 동일한 관점에서 다양한 형태와 성질을 가진 정보를 접근할 수 있도록 해주는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 CORBA의 기술과 JDBC, ODBC를 이용하여 분산된 DBMS을 하나로 통합할 수 있는 환경을 구현해 보았다.

In collaborative environment, since each agent generally uses different words for the same meaning, there is an obstacle for information sharing. In collaborative product development environment, each agent has different words for representing same product information. As a result, it is hard to share product information in this situation. For solving this problem, semantic-based product information is needed. In this paper, a ontology-based semantic searching system which is able to interact with legacy PDM systems is proposed for product information sharing in collaborative environment Product ontology is represented with OWL format, and the product ontology is processed by Pellet reasoning engine for semantic searching. The system is implemented as a web service which can be integrated with other systems. This paper also introduces the approach with which a PDM system provides a function of semantic search with this search system.

본 연구는 BPR(Business Process Reengineering)을 이루기 위한 가장 근본적이고 중요한 정보의 통합관리로써 MDM(Master Data Management)이라는 기준정보 관리 체계를 제시하였으며, 효과를 산출하기 위하여 국내의 글로벌 A 기업이 수행한 MDM 시스템을 분석하였다. 인사 및 고객 정보 위주로만 사용되었던 MDM을 제품 생산에 직접적으로 연관된 장비와 자재 부문까지 확장시켜 전사적으로 기업을 관리할 수 있는 정보 관리 체계의 효과를 분석하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. MDM은 전사의 가치 있는 기준정보를 명확히 정의하고 이를 하나의 데이터 시스템에서 관리하여 정보의 품질과 객관성을 유지시키는 동시에 기업환경에 맞춰 생성 및 수정을 하여 현실성을 유지시킨다. 또한 중앙 분산식 데이터 시스템을 사용함으로써 기준정보를 만들어 내거나 또는 사용하는 모든 정보시스템은 MDM을 거친 정보를 제공받음으로써 데이터의 적합성과 신뢰성을 보장받는다.

디자인경영과 서비스디자인 등은 전 산업분야에 걸쳐 이슈가 되고 있으며, 기업의 경쟁력으로서 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 산업디자인 분야는 제품디자인, 시각디자인, 포장디자인 등으로 분류될 수 있다. 각 분야의 공통점은 제품의 생산부터 유통까지 연계되어 관리되어 지며, 최근에는 저작권, 사회적책임, 시장영향력에 대한 부가적인 업무가 요구되고 있다는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 산업디자인과 관련한 이미지와 오피니언에 기반한 빅데이터를 이용하여 디자인 공급자와 수요자 간의 컨설팅, 디자인제작, 유통, 후속조치 등이 통합적으로 관리될 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다.

본 연구에서 제안하는 3차원 인터렉티브 스케칭 시스템은 쉽고 간략한 인터페이스 환경으로 유연하고 정교한 물체 생성 및 변형이 가능한 3차원 개념설계 시스템이다. 제품의 설계 과정에서 무선 완드를 이용하여 3차원 공간에 일련의 프리핸드 스트로크로 곡면을 정의하고 생성된 곡면은 캘리그래픽 스트로크를 이용하여 실시간으로 변형할 수 있는 공간 곡면의 정의와 실시간 자유 변형 알고리즘을 포함한다. 공간 곡면 정의 알고리즘은 무선완드의 입력 방위에 따라 상이한 물체를 생성하고 변형하는 기술로서 물체 생성시 필요한 인터페이스의 양을 최소화 할 수 있다. 또한 절러 차례 캘리그라픽 스트로크 입력으로 수정과 변형이 실시간 통합적으로 이루어지는 자유변형 알고리즘은 기존의 공학적. 수치적 접근방식에서 탈피한 직관적이며 유연한 모델링 방식을 제안하여 전문가가 아니더라도 쉽게 공학적 모델을 생성. 변형 할 수 있다. 누구나 쉽게 본 시스템의 도움으로 직관적이며 공학적으로 건전한 제품을 설계할 수 있는 디자인 설계의 획기적인 변화를 마련할 것이다.

최근 가상화 기술은 하드웨어의 추상화, 통합된 시스템 관리, 유지관리 비용의 절감 등 다양한 장점과 가능성으로 주목받는 기술로 각광받고 있으며, 가상화 기술을 도입한 다양한 제품과 기술이 개발되어 정보통신의 여러 분야에 적용되고 있다. 본 고에서는 해킹 또는 악성 코드를 다루기 위해 별도의 격리된 환경이 필수적인 정보보호 교육에 있어 가상화 기술의 적용을 위한 방안을 여러 측면에서 살펴보고, 이에 대한 장단점과 정보보호 교육의 특성을 잘 반영할 수 있는 고려사항에 대해 논의한다.

Vehicle black boxes that have similar functions as airplane black boxes are currently being used due to the loss of many lives and properties arising from vehicle accidents. Both black-box products and Event Data Recorder(EDR) systems are currently available in the market. Most of the existing in-vehicle black boxes, however, record only external videos and images and cannot show the vehicle's driving status, whereas EDR products record only the driving status and not external videos. To address the problem of black boxes that can record only videos and images and that of EDR systems that can record only driving data, an integrated vehicle state and video recording system that uses MOST(Media-oriented System Transport) and OBD-II(Onboard Diagnostics II) and CAM (camera) and GPS (global positioning system).

네트워크 상에 다수의 방화벽이 설치되어 있을 경우, 각각의 방화벽에 대한 정책을 설정하고 관리하는 데 있어서 각 방화벽의 정책이 서로 충돌하거나, 하나의 방화벽에 설정된 정책이 다른 방화벽에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 이의 결과로, 네트워크 방화벽의 존재가 무의미해 지거나 네트워크의 정상적인 동작을 방해할 가능성도 존재한다. 따라서, 네트워크 방화벽 정책의 중앙 집중적인 관리가 필요한데, 각 방화벽이 서로 다른 제품일 경우, 각 방화벽의 중앙 집중적인 정책 관리는 더더욱 어려우며, 보안 관리자의 업무를 가중시키고 혼란을 초래하여 문제 발생의 소지를 내포한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 이질적인 방화벽을 중앙 관리하기 위한 시스템의 전체적인 구조를 제시하고 관리자의 요구를 처리하며, 중앙 정책 데이터베이스를 통해 네트워크 상의 각 방화벽 정책을 조정하고 유지하는 네트워크 방화벽 통합 관리 시스템의 핵심 부분인 관리 엔진의 구현 기술에 대해 설명하고자 한다.
