  • As the particulate matter (PM) is fatal for human being, the government authorities try to lessen PM with a variety of policy instruments. To increase the efficiency of the policy, we need to understand people's perception and risk avoidance on PM. Thus, the research explored what attribution styles, involvement, and perceived health status have an influence on preventive intention. First, we found three attribution styles on PM occurrence through factor analysis: daily life(DL), domestic industry & environment(DI&E), and Chinese industry & environment(CI&E). We also found that involvement(${\beta}=.465$, p<.001), CI&E(${\beta}=.222$, p<.001), DL(${\beta}=.173$, p<.01), and DI&E(${\beta}=.143$, p<.05) have an influence on preventive intention in order. Finally we discussed suggestions for future study.

  • This study investigates the effect of the organizational preparedness for corporate entrepreneurship(OPCE) on innovative behavior, with a focus on the mediating role of resilience. Building on literature regarding the OPCE and resilience, hypotheses are developed and tested using data collected from 217 middle managers in South Korean small and medium-sized enterprises. Results show that the OPCE has both direct and indirect effects on the consequence. Resilience is also found to be positively associated with innovative behavior. It also find that resilience mediates the relationship between OPCE and innovative behavior. These findings suggest that the perception of middle managers on OPCE contributes to developing their resilience, which in turn encourages them to act entrepreneurially. Theoretical and practical implications, limitations and suggestions for future studies are presented.

  • The purpose of this study was to 1) explore the effectiveness of a college-level self-management (SM) course in improving a target behavior and reducing impulsivity, 2) investigate improvements in other non-target self-control behaviors(generalization of self-control), and 3) determine whether change in impulsivity could predict the generalization of self-control. A total of 128 College students who took the SM course were included. Participants completed the computerized delay-discounting task, self-report impulsiveness scale, and general self-control behavior questionnaire at the beginning and end of the course. After participants had defined their target behaviors, they self-monitored and recorded their behaviors everyday throughout the course. Results revealed that 63% of the participants successfully changed their target behaviors after the course. Although differing depending on the type of target behavior, thoes who successfully changed their target behaviors reported decreases in impulsivity and increases in other self-control behaviors such as physical exercise, healthy diet, study habits, and time management, after the course. Furthermore, the decrease of impulsivity significantly predicted the generalization of self-control in the exercise and diet groups. The results indicate that reduced impulsivity is related to improvements in a target behavior and general self-control behaviors in other spheres. Implications and limitations are also discussed.

In the results of the study, Gatekeeper behavior showed significant difference by gender(t=2.85, p=.005), type of school(t=-2.81, p=.006), experience of significant others' suicide(t=-2.09, p=.038). Gatekeeper behavior had a positive relationship with the perception toward suicide prevention(r=.23, p=.006) and the knowledge about suicide prevention(r=.42, p<.001). In regression analysis, significant influencing factors on Gatekeeper behavior were the perception toward suicide prevention (${\beta}=.20$, p=.006) and the knowledge about suicide prevention(${\beta}=.35$, p<.001), and these variables showed 24.3% of variance. Therefore, it need to develop the intervention for improving positive perception and active knowledge about suicide prevention in adolescents. • Recently some researchers have challenged the truism by arguing that ethical leadership evokes followers' engagement in unethical behavior when that is benefit for organization(unethical pro-organizational behavior, called UPB). In this paper, I propose the relationships among the ethical leadership, affective commitment, and UPB based on social exchange theory and social identity theory. Using survey data from 10 companies 90 employees, the regressing analysis results indicate that there is positive and significant direct relationship between ethical leadership and UPB, and affective commitment paly as a partial mediator role among ethical leadership and UPB. Some implications, future research directions, and study limitations were discussed.
