In this study, the marine agar-degrading bacterium Pseudoalteromonas sp. JH-1 was isolated, and its growth and agarase properties were investigated. Seawater was collected from the offshore of the Yonggung Temple in Busan, and agar-degrading bacteria were isolated and cultured with marine agar medium. The bacterium Pseudoalteromonas sp. JH-1 was isolated through 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The extracellularly secreted enzyme was obtained from the culture broth of Pseudoalteromonas sp. JH-1 and was used to characterize its agarase. The extracellular agarase exhibited a maximum activity of 116.6 U/l at 50℃ and pH 6.0 of 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer. Relative activities were 31, 59, 94, 100, 45, and 31% at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70℃, respectively. Relative activities were 49, 85, 100, 86, 81, and 67% at pH 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, respectively. Residual activity was more than 85% after exposure at 20, 30, and 40℃ for 2 hr, and more than 82% after exposure at 50℃ for 2 hr. Zymogram analysis confirmed that Pseudoalteromonas sp. JH-1 produced at least two agarases of 55 and 97 kDa. As the products of α-agarase and β-agarase have antioxidation, antitumor, skin-whitening, macrophage activation, and prebiotic effects, further studies are needed on the agarase of Pseudoalteromonas sp. JH-1.

Purpose: Sooner of later, end-of-life care decision-making will unfold and be settled during the professional lives of medical students. However, there is prevalent ambiguity and uncertainty between the palliative treatment and euthanasia. We conducted this survey to investigate attitudes of medical students towards end-of-life making decisions, and to find out which factors primarily influenced the attitudes. Methods: A study was conducted among medical students at one university, the Republic of Korea. A written questionnaire was sent to all the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year medical students. It presented 5 statements on end-of-life decision-making. Students were asked whether they agreed or disagreed with each statement. Results: The response rate was 74.4%, and 267 questionnaires were analyzed. Percentages of agreement with each statements on Voluntary active euthanasia (VAE), Physician assisted suicide (PAS), Withholding life-sustaining management, Withdrawing life-sustaining management, and Terminal sedation (TS) was 37.1%, 21.7%, 58.4%, 60.3%, and 41.6%, respectively. The grade of students, religious activity, and educational experience were determinant factors. Agreement on each statements was higher in the low religious activity group than in the high religious activity group. Agreement on TS was higher among 3rd year students during their clerkship than among 1st and 2nd year students. Age of students and the experience of dying-people care had no significant influence. Conclusion: In end-of-life decision-making, religious and educational factors influenced medical students' attitudes. Especially, the experience of education during clerkship had significant influence on the attitude. Proper teaching on end-of-life decisions should further be considered during medical students' clerkship.

최근들어 기후변화와 자원부족이 현실적 위협으로 등장하면서 에너지와 환경문제가 국가경제의 미래를 결정하는 주요변수로 부각되고 있다. 이는 환경이 경제성장의 제약요인이 아닌 지속성장을 가능하게 하는 새로운 기회요인으로 전환되었음을 의미한다. 이러한 이유로 미국 EU 일본 등 선진국들은 녹색시장을 선도하기 위해 자신들의 국력을 집중하고 있다. 우리나라는 고유가로 인한 자원부족과 기후변화 위기를 극복하기 위하여 미래지향적인 저탄소 녹색성장을 새로운 국가비전으로 제시(815 경축사)한 바 있으며, 녹색성장은 신성장동력과 일자리 창출을 주도할 수 있는 신국가발전 패러다임으로 자리잡았다. 이에 따라 에너지분야의 국가정책을 주도하기 위한 일환으로 그린에너지기술의 국가별 협력체계 구축을 통해 에너지기술개발 대안 수립이 필요하다. 우리는 선진국과 기술수준을 비교할 때 상대적으로 기술개발 후발자(follower)로서, 효과적으로 그린에너지기술을 개발하기 위해서는 선진국과의 국제협력이 현실적인 대안이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 AHP기법과 SM기법을 복합적으로 활용하여 12대 그린에너지기술의 국제협력을 위한 영향요인 발굴 및 평가에 적용하였고, 각 기술별 전략품목에 대한 평가를 통해 국제협력 우선순위를 산정하였다. 영향요인으로는 국제협력유형, 기술개발 시급성, 기술수준, 시장성, 수출성을 고려하였으며, 평가결과는 CCS가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 그린카, 전력IT, IGCC가 상위권 그룹에 속하는 결과를 도출하였다.

Smartwork technology, using teleworking, smartwork centers and mobile terminal, provides a flexible work environments without constraints of time and space. Smartwork system to increase the work efficiency has the information protection threats according to their convenience. Thus, in order to build smartwork, it is proper to provide information protection audit to help ensure the information protection. In this paper, we have proposed an infortaion protection audit model at the practical and technical level for building a smartwork environment. We were classified as a terminal, network and server area for information protection, and derived a professional information protection check items. Further, by establishing a smartwork information protection audit time to map ISMS control items, we have proposed an audit model so that it is possible to improve the security and efficiency. It also verified whether the proposed model is suitable or not by doing a survey if deduced audit domain and check items correspond with the purpose of the smartwork information protection audit to auditors and IT specialists. As the result, this study was 97% satisfaction out of 13 check items.

This paper discusses the possibility of enhancing the efficiency in Second Language Learning with the help of an educational information and content search system that utilizes a Cloud system based Big Data. The proposed system plays a role in tracing the exact information that user request considering the interest, level, and aptitude of each individual. Also, the system screen outs unnecessary learning materials if they do not correspond to the user level which in result is one of the key factor in the proposed system. Since it requires multiple steps of verification in providing the extracted results finding out a way to reduce the steps to shorten the time of process.

Value Engineering (VE) is an organized process with an impressive history of improving value and quality. VE can be applied to the construction projects with having good study results. The VE study in construction projects gives identification of opportunities to remove unnecessary costs while assuring quality, performance, reliability, and other factors will meet or exceed the clients needs. VE techniques can save money, reduce time, and improve quality, reliability, maintainability, and performance. VE can also make improving of human factors (altitudes, creativity), and team work. According to the results of VE study in recent USA, 5∼35% reduction in initial costs have been made for the construction projects (ROI ranges : 100∼1000). To have successful work results, if possible, VE study shall be considered at project planning stage or basic design stage later than field work stage with application of VE JOB PLAN, multi-disciplinary approach, and proper techniques in respective study phases (pre-workshop / information gathering / function analysis / creativity / judgement and evaluation / development / presentation and implementation) among the detail techniques in many.

Background: Currently establishment of public pharmaceutical companies became an issue for securing stable supply of national essential drugs in order to respond appropriately to national public health crisis. Pharmacy students as future pharmacists need to be interested in drug related issues under the discussion in our society. This study aimed to investigate perceptions of pharmacy students on the national drug supply strategy through public pharmaceutical companies. Methods: A 20-items questionnaire designed for this study was used. Pharmacy students nationwide were enrolled in July 2017. They responded to questions through on-line survey program. Data were analyzed descriptively. Results: 160 students from 26 pharmacy schools participated. 5th and 6th grade students accounted for two-thirds, and one third aspired future jobs in pharmaceutical industry. Among responders, 71.3% was unaware of current national essential drugs, 52.5% did not know the Rare and Essential Drug Center, and 91.9% was unaware of the legislation on the supply and management of essential drugs. 82.5% favored the establishment of public pharmaceutical companies. 80.6% agreed that government should intervene in pharmaceutical market for ensuring drug accessibilities, 73.8% agreed that public pharmaceutical companies make possible to reach a goal of stable supply of pharmaceuticals, and 85.1% agreed that active compulsory license by public pharmaceutical companies is necessary. Conclusion: We found that pharmacy students recognized the need for governmental control to achieve social values of pharmaceuticals. More attention and participation of the pharmacy students as well as pharmacists in the process of national debate on public pharmaceutical companies are expected.

Poly(lactic acid)(이하 PLA라 칭함)는 초기 연구에서는 제조비용과 희귀성으로 봉합사 등의 의료용 등의 용도가 제한적이었으나 1980년대의 유전공학의 발전과 이를 바탕으로 1990년 이후 농업의 혁신적인 변화를 거쳐 옥수수의 여러 측면의 이용 중의 하나로서 2000년 초에 양산화에 성공하여, 의류, 필름 및 플라스틱의 다양한 분야에서 적용되고 있다. PLA의 장점은 석유가 아닌 천연 원료에서 얻을 수 있으며, 기존의 합성섬유와는 달리 일정한 조건하에서 미생물 등에 의해 물과 이산화탄소로 분해되는 친환경적인 소재이다. 합성섬유 중에서 의류용의 대부분 차지하는 폴리에스테르(이하 PET라 칭함)와 유사한 물성을 가지고 있는 PLA섬유는 PET섬유와 유사한 분산염료로 염색할 수 있다. 따라서 PLA섬유는 분산염료에 의한 염색법을 중심으로 연구되어지고 있으나, PET 섬유의 융점이 $254^{\circ}C$부근인 반면, PLA섬유는 $160-170^{\circ}C$ 부근이다. 이로 인해 PLA를 섬유로 용도전개에 있어서 약점으로 작용하고 있다. 그러나 PLA섬유는 특유의 경량감과 새로운 촉감 등의 많은 장점을 지니고 있어 여러 가지 용도전개가 되어지고 있다. 배트염료는 그 자체로서는 불용성으로 섬유와 친화성이 낮지만, 알칼리성 환원욕에서 셀룰로오스 섬유 등에 친화성이 있다. 화학구조적으로 안트라키논, 인디고계가 주류를 이루고 있으며, 색상적으로는 화학구조의 제약으로 선명도가 약깐 낮은 중간색 계통이 대부분이지만, 견뢰도 면에서는 다른 염료에서는 얻을 수 없는 높은 견뢰도를 가지는 것이 배트염료가 지니는 장점중의 하나이다. 셀룰로오스계 섬유에 주로 이용되는 배트염료를 나일론과 폴리에스테르 중심으로 합성섬유에 적용하는 연구 및 실용화가 되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Indigo Blue 1을 중심으로 염색된 PLA섬유의 반복 세탁에 의한 염색물의 변 퇴색성을 조사하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the distribution system and the spatial characteristics of sales for the internet shopping mall on the basis of its off-line presence. The distribution system of this internet shopping mall is divided into the goods selection process and the product delivery process to consumers according to the function and role of the distribution center which is performed by cooperative companies. The internet shopping mall uses a different distribution system from the off-line department store, outsourcing the delivery process to door-to-door delivery companies in order to reduce costs and to increase the speed of delivery. Sales in the internet shopping mall are concentrated in the delivery unit area where the main office is located. Accordingly, in the case of the internet shopping mall based on an off-line presence, the mail-order business does not fully overcome the limitations arising from space. Also, the main factors influencing the value of sales, according to the area, are the number of women aged 20 to 49 and the distances involved.
