The Effects of multimedia information diaplay on information processing (멀티미디어 정보 제시유형이 정보처리에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어 환경에서 정보 제시 유형이 정보 처리에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 초등학교 아동을 대사으로 하여 텍스트와 나래이션을 제시한 조건, 텍스트와 애니매이션을 제시한 조건, 애니매이션과 나래이션을 제시한 조건에 따라 학습정도가 어떻게 달라지는지를 알아보았다. 학습 수행 평가는 학습자료를 보여주고 즉시 검사하였고, 학습한 후 일주일이 지난 후에 지연검사를 하였다. 그 결과 두 검사 모두에서 애니매이션과 나래이션을 제시한 조건이 다른 두 조건에 비해 효율적인 학습 수행 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 아동에게 있어서 단일 매체(텍스트)로 정보를 제시하는 것보다는 다중매체(텍스트, 애니매이션)로 정보를 처리할 수 있도록 제시하는 것이 학습에 효과적임을 보요준다. 또한 이러한 결과는 기존의 이중보호이론과 작용기억이론을 지지해 준다.

A Study on Understandability and Information Acquisition according to Message Presenting Type of Government: Focusing on Environmental Awareness of Information Acceptor (정부의 메시지 제시 유형에 따른 이해 용이성과 정보습득에 관한 연구: 정보 수용자들의 환경의식을 중심으로)

  • This research analyzed the relationship and the interaction effect between information understandability and information acquisition level in accordance with government's official message presentation types, in other words, press release in text form, infographic that visualize a large amount of information, and webtoon that helps to understand convoluted information in interesting ways. As a result of research, it was confirmed that there exist both main effect and interaction effect in official message types presented by government and information understandability according to the environmental awareness. In addition, the main effect per each variable was confirmed between official message types presented by government and information understandability according to the environmental awareness; however, the interaction effect per each variable was not confirmed. Such research result is meaningful in that it provides the government with basic data in obtaining the effectiveness and usefulness of the information dependent of the official message types presented by government to the information consumer facing the era of government 3.0.

Analyzing Inquiry Activities and Exploring the Difficulties of Teaching Inquiry Activities Presented in Science Textbooks for Grades 5-6 (초등 5~6학년 과학 교과서에 제시된 탐구 활동 유형 분석 및 탐구 활동 지도의 어려움 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the types of essential inquiry activities presented in elementary science textbooks for grades 5-6, and to find out what difficulties teachers have in the actual teaching process. To this end, the essential research activities presented in the textbook were analyzed into six types: experimentation/observation, investigation/discussion and presentation, data interpretation, discussion/discussion, simulation activity, and expression. In addition, 108 elementary school teachers were investigated for the suitability of inquiry activity achievement standards, suitability at the student's level, student interest, and difficulty in teaching instruction. To summarize the research results, the most frequently suggested type was the experiment/observation type, followed by simulation activity type and data interpretation type. It was analyzed that there was no discussion/discussion type in the 5th grade textbooks, and the 6th graders did not present research activities that correspond to the research/discussion/presentation type and the expression type in the textbook. In the results of teachers' responses to the suitability of achievement standards for inquiry activities presented in textbooks and the suitability of the student's level, 5th graders showed lower average scores than 6th graders, and showed similar average scores in student interest and instructional difficulty. Also, it was confirmed that improvement was required for a total of 17 inquiry activities. Specifically, teachers responded that they had difficulty in guiding inquiry activities when the experimental results did not appear as intended in the textbook, when students' interest in inquiry activities was low, and when students and teachers had low understanding of related science concepts. Teachers pointed out practical problems such as difficulties in long-term observation in astronomy-related units, and students in upper elementary school not actively participating in dynamic play activities.

Characteristics of Interactions between Fan and Celebrities on Twitter (유명인과의 트위터 매개 상호작용 특성 탐색)

  • The present study explored types of Twitter-mediated communication and emotional responses of Twitter users toward celebrities. Three perspectives of para-social interactions, information hub, and fandom were proposed as communication types on Twitter. Celebrities were classified by entertainer, politician, specialist, and blogger. Communication patterns according to each category of celebrities were analyzed. The patterns of emotional responses, which represents the use of emoticons and emotional expressions were also analyzed. The results show that the type of para-social interactions was frequently accepted for the interactions with politicians and specialists, while fandom style was salient for the entertainers. For the power bloggers, the users tend to adopt the type of information hub interaction. The use of emotions and emotional expressions were most frequent in case of fandom style communication and the messages to the entertainers. Implications were further discussed.

컴퓨터 게임의 트랩 유형 분석

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 게임공간의 레벨디자인을 기반으로 3D 공간에서 설계될 수 있는 트랩 유형을 제시하였다. 트랩은 게임 내의 장애물로서 3D 공간에서의 X, Y, Z 축으로의 이동방향, 고정, 운동, 회전, 스케일의 트랩 자체의 상태, 일회성, 반복, 순환의 작동타입 등의 요소를 바탕으로 표현된다. 트랩의 상태를 기준으로 작동 타입과 이동방향의 경우의 수를 조합한 결과 28가지의 트랩 유형이 도출되었다. 그리고 도출해낸 28가지의 트랩 유형이 실질적으로 게임공간에 적용되어 쓰이고 있는지 알아보기 위해 발리언트와 트라인 게임을 대상으로 트랩 유형을 살펴보았다.

  • 본 연구에서는 인터넷 비즈니스를 통해 획득할 수 있는 수익을 규명하고, 사례조사를 통하여 거래유형별로 나타나는 수익구조의 차이를 제시한다. 거래의 유형에 따라 사례연구를 통해 수익구조를 살펴본 결과는 거래유형에 따라 수익구조가 서로 다르게 나타나고 있음을 보이고 있다. 이는 거래유형별로 수익원이 각기 다름을 의미하며 비즈니스 모델별로 적합한 수익구조를 구성할 수 있음을 의미한다. 그리고 수익구조를 구성하고 있는 수익들간의 관계를 분석함으로써 획득하고자 하는 수익과 그에 선행하여 획득하여야 하는 수익을 연결시켰다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 인터넷 비즈니스를 전개하고 있는 기업에서는 획득하고자 하는 수익과 그에 필요한 적절한 수익구조를 구성하는데 가이드라인으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

The Patterns and the Characteristics of Students’ Interactive Argumentation in the Small-group Discussions (소집단 토론에서 발생하는 학생들의 상호작용적 논증 유형 및 특징)

  • study was to explore the patterns and the characteristics of students' interactive argumentation in the middle school science classes. The data were collected by observing and audiotaping the small-group discussions and the transcribed data were analyzed through the lens of Toulmin's argument frame. As the results, the three argumentation patterns, which could be combined different ideas with or without their warrants, were presented. In the first pattern, the argumentation including the claim and its warrant without any different ideas, the students argumentation did not have any conflict with each other in the discussions. In the second, the argumentation of different ideas without their warrants, the different ideas did not affect the claim. In the last, the argumentation of different ideas with their warrants, the students elaborated the claim through collaborative argumentation in search for the warrant. To understand and improve student discussions in the science classrooms, conclusion and implications were discussed based on the results.

The Classification of Railroad Accident Types and Its Standardization (철도사고유형분류 및 표준화 방안)

  • This paper suggests to reclassify railroad accident types and to standardize them as the standardized code for the railroad safety management system. The existing railroad accident types in both domestic and foreign cases have been carefully analyzed in the beginning. Based on the case studies, the new railroad accident types are classified into 9 classes which are not overlapped one another and 9 classes have been subdivided into 40 different accident patterns. All these patterns are linked with 9 different accident objects and 6 accident locations. Therefore, this study suggested the combination of 4 distinct code factors: accident class, accident pattern, accident object, and accident location to standardize them. In addition, inter-operation between the proposed codes and the existing accident types is suggested. This code will play a major role in the railroad safety management system composed of accident prevention, accident preparedness, accident response, and accident recovery.

  • 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어 환경에서 인지부하 정도에 따라 학습 수행에 어떤 차이를 보이는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어 환경 학습을 함에 있어서 학습 제시 유형이 학습 수행에 영향을 미칠 것으로 보아, 같은 내용을 텍스트로 제시하는 조건, 텍스트와 나레이션으로 제시하는 조건, 애니메이션과 텍스트로 제시하는 조건에서 학습하도록 한 후 학습 수행 정도를 비교하였다. 학습 수행 정도는 학습이 끝난 후 즉시 시행하는 검사와 일 주일 후에 실시한 지연검사로 평가되었다. 그 결과 텍스트로만 제시한 조건의 학습자들이 다른 조건에 비해 즉시 검사와 지연검사 모두 더 높은 수행을 보인 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 멀티미디어 환경에서 인지부하를 주는 자극 제시 유형은 학습에 방해를 준다는 것을 보여주며, 이는 멀티미디어로 학습정보를 제시하는 것이 어떠한 경우에서나 늘 좋은 것이 아니라, 학습자 상황과 학습 내용을 충분히 고려해야 하는 것을 시사한다.

Relationships between Youth's Power Type and Participants' Roles in School Bullying Situations (학교 내 청소년들의 권력관계 유형과 학교폭력 참여 역할 유형)

  • This study aimed to examine the relationship between students' power types and the roles taken by students in school bullying situation. Four types of power relationship were identified by crossing two dimensions of power relationships among students, which are 'possibility of power acquisition,' and 'need for power acquision.' Salmivalli et al.'s(1996) six particpatants' roles taken by individual student were employed as possible roles for students in school bullying situations. Samples of 1822 cases were analyzed to test the relationships. Results showed that control type youth tend to be bullies, assistants of the bullies, or reinforcers of the bullies; both the followers of bullies and the recluse type youth tend to be victims. Surprisingly influential youth did not take any vivid roles in school bullying situations. Implications as well as suggestions were presented.
