This study was conducted to identify the perceptions of stakeholders and related experts on the formation process and policy satisfaction of this policy, and to identify factors that explain policy satisfaction. The survey was conducted by e-mail and facsimile of the pharmaceutical companies, universities, and government - affiliated research institutes. The effective response rate was 38.4% (61/159). As a result of the cross-sectional survey, the perception of policy necessity was the most positive among the policy formation process, and all the other stages and perception of policy satisfaction were at the medium level. As a result of examining the influential factors related to the variables of the respondents' personal variables and the policy formation process, it is confirmed that the factors that have the greatest influence on the policy satisfaction are the perception of the performance of the certified company. Also, perceptions of appropriateness and follow - up ability were similar in magnitude of impact on policy satisfaction. This study can be used as a basic data to systematically and effectively improve the certification and support policies of innovative pharmaceutical companies based on the consumer's perception. However, due to limitations such as being carried out at the beginning of policy implementation, verification and supplementation are necessary through further research.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose policies to improve and revitalize rural bus services in Jeollabuk-do in the future by identifying the factors that affect service satisfaction and policy satisfaction and the relationship between them, targeting rural bus users in 4 cities and counties in Jeollabuk-do. In the four cities and counties in the study area, the number of rural bus users is continuously decreasing, and various transportation policies, such as unification of bus fares and demand-response transportation, are being piloted to promote bus use. In this study, three major service quality factors that affect rural bus service satisfaction and policy satisfaction were derived after a literature review. Modifying the research model presented in previous studies, we have presented a research model to verify the relationship between the three factors affecting service satisfaction and policy satisfaction, and the relationship between service satisfaction and policy satisfaction. For the verification of the research model, a total of 520 survey data collected from passengers near bus stops and bus terminals in four cities and counties, Gochang, Gimje, Buan, and Jeongeup, were used. As a result of the verification, it was found that the three factors of economic feasibility, convenience, and safety had a statistically positive (+) effect on service satisfaction, but only convenience and safety had a positive (+) effect on policy satisfaction. Contrary to the research hypothesis, it was found that there was no statistically significant relationship between service satisfaction and policy satisfaction. Although the result is different from the research hypothesis, it was a meaningful result that can make policy suggestions on the improvement of the unified fare system policy, service satisfaction, and policy satisfaction to Jeollabuk-do rural bus transportation policy makers and working-level officers. In conclusion, based on the results of research analysis, the unified fare system, and transportation policy, measures to improve service satisfaction and policy satisfaction were presented.

  • To investigate farmers' satisfaction level and factors influencing on various agricultural and rural policies, an interview survey has been carried out in Jeonnam and Jeonbuk agricultural area, and collected 750 survey questionnaires from farmers. Satisfaction level was low in average ranging from 2.71 to 3.09 in five point Likert-scale on 22 agricultural-rural related policies. Ordered logit model results showed that satisfaction level decreased when farmers are older, had higher income, and had higher number of attendance in agricultural education programme. In addition, satisfaction level decreased when farms had main source of income from rice farming, dry-field farming, livestock farming, or facility horticulture. Lower satisfaction level was also related to location of farm. On the contrary, satisfaction level increased when the farmer had greater owned land. Among 22 agricultural and rural policies, practices that farmers prefer include Direct Payment for Rice Farming Income Compensation, Environment-Friendly Farming Service, Farmland Banking Services in order. Since direct payment policies that farmers prefer may not contribute in development of agriculture, policies can induce both farm income and agricultural development may increase farmer satisfaction level and finally resolve the income gap between the urban workers and farmers.

  • Since 2004, the Korean government has been engaged in u-IT new technology verification projects in an effort to level up the industries. Recently, cases are reported that RFID/USN technology has been adopted and applied to business processes, mainly by large enterprises. However, further policies and support for the industries have been restrained because of unavailability of essential data for policy making. Therefore, the study examined the level of satisfaction among the actual recipient organizations from the 27 pilot projects to draw implications from the study result. Accordingly, the level of satisfaction was assessed in four project phases from RFID/USN building, utilization (technical quality), utilization (business quality), to maintenance. The study result showed that the technical stability reached a significant level but the level of satisfaction in the maintenance phase for the utilization and proliferation of the technology remained at the lowest. It suggested that a more specified policy support is needed in the maintenance phase to include inexpensive supply of tags and devices, a maintenance establishment of consortium to maintain reliability and continuity of service, strengthening internal competence of the beneficiary organizations for utilization of RFID/USN.
