  • LED is much brighter than the traditional incandescent, and low power consumption. Development and commercialization of LED fluorescent lamp is made in order to improve efficient fluorescent lamps with this existing and environmental problems. Because, unlike fluorescent lamps, it is not possible to directly use AC power to the unidirectional element having a polarity, LED requires a power supply. The power supply function is lowered as compared with the fluorescent lamp common in terms of maintenance costs because of the high price large. In this study, we constructed a circuit that can be controlled with a constant current in order to eliminate a phenomenon that brightness of the light which rectifies the AC power supply easy to place in the power supply due to the current change due to the voltage fluctuation is changed, in maintenance, I would like to propose how to develop a device which can be easily replaced less expensive composed of interchangeable modules of Plug in / out method to distinguish the LED module this.

  • In this paper, we present the advanced open collector circuit, interface circuit between aerospace electronics. Satellite is composed of a number of electronics, which were provided from various manufacturers. Each company manufactured its own electronics for satellite using its heritage and requirements for their electronics. Therefore each electronics may use different internal supplies. It make a problem between electronics because the supply is different from other electronics, such as the increasing of power dissipation because of the static current and the mismatch of interface voltage, the offset. Proposed circuit can reduce the static current and rising time, and also decrease the useless power dissipation caused by the static current for open collector circuit

  • According to recent technological developments in high-power LEDs, the stage lighting is one of most important areas to apply power LED system. Moving light for color rendering of stage uses the RGBW(red, green, blue, white) color mixing method. LED moving light system needs to have a wide range of dimming control as enough to operate at very low power. Also LED dimming system should not be induced color-shift and flicker in camera. This paper is experimentally verified the LED Moving Light driving circuit of 200Watt level designed to satisfy the above characteristics which applied the DC current-controlled and PWM mixed dimming method.

  • 본 논문은 Rear Combination LED Lamp 동작 시 전류와 광출력의 변동폭를 최소화하는 LED 조명광원의 특성을 고려하여 정전류 회로의 구현이 유리한 DC/DC 컨버터의 EMC 고효율 필터를 제안하여 외부의 전자계로부터 장애를 유발하지 않고, 일정 수준의 전자파 환경에서도 오동작 없이 원할하게 작동될 수 있도록 관련 기기 상호간의 전파 환경을 개선하는 고효율 Filter를 제안 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 Filter는 EMI 측정을 통해 타당성과 우수성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 전압제한 고효율 AC입력 LED 드라이버에 연구에 관한 것이다. 최근 이산화탄소 배출 저감과 고효율 LED 조명이 일반화 되면서 고효율, 장수명, 소형화에 대한 요구가 커지고 있다. LED를 구동하기 위해 SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply)를 사용하는 경우 역률을 높이기 위해서 별도의 역률 개선부를 포함하고 있어야 하며 전해커패시터 역시 사용되어야 한다. 이 방식은 가격의 상승과 전해커패시터 사용에 의해 수명 저하라는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하여 수명 저하를 일으키는 전해커패시터와 별도의 역률 개선부 없이 LED에 정전류를 공급하고 역률을 향상시킬 수 있는 LED 드라이버 회로를 제안하고 이를 실험으로 검증한다.

  • This paper relates to the development of a device for measuring the efficiency of a solar panel based on a variable constant current, and proposed a standard for reuse of the solar panel. By applying a variable constant current circuit to a solar panel efficiency measuring device, it was easy to apply a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm. In addition, a load dispersion method was applied to measure the efficiency of a high-capacity solar panel. and it is possible to solve a problematic thermal runaway during a MOSFET parallel operation by applying the load dispersion method. As a result of the experiment, the solar panel efficiency measuring device was able to accommodate a large solar panel of 350W, which is the maximum measurement goal. In this paper, the validity was confirmed through the 310W solar panel efficiency measurement experiment collected after removal.

CC-CV Charging Time Characteristics of Lead-Acid Batteries Based on Compact Estimation Model (간결한 예측 모형에 기반한 납축전지의 정전류-정전압 충전시간 특성화)

  • Modern embedded systems are typically operated by the rechargeable batteries in our daily life. Since charge of batteries is considered as an time consuming task, there have been extensive efforts to manage the charge time from the perspective of materials, circuits, and systems. Estimation of battery charge time is one of the essential information to design the charge circuitry. A compact macro model for the constant-current and constant-voltage charge protocol was recently introduced, which gives us a quick estimation of charge time with similar shape to the famous Peukert's law for discharge time estimation. The CC-CV charging protocol is widely used for Lithium-based batteries and Lead-acid batteries. In this paper, we characterize the lead-acid battery by measurement to extract the model coefficients, which was not covered by the previous studies. By our proposed model, the key coefficient Kcc results in 1.18-1.31, which is little bit higher than that of Lithium batteries. The accuracy of our model is within the range of ${\pm}10%$ error, which is compatible with the other studies such as Peukert's law.

  • This paper describes the DC-DC Converter for Ancillary Power Supply in Hybrid Electric Vehicle. DC-DC Converter is used for charging 12V auxiliary battery supplying electric power to head ramp, audio, ECU etc in automobiles. used DC-DC Converter Topology is PS-ZVS FB(Phase Shifted Zero Voltage Switching Full-Bridge) to reduce switching loss and EMI noise induced by high frequency operating condition. And For easy compensation and stable system response characteristic, current mode control method including slope compensation is employed. Constant current / constant voltage charging control method guarantee stable electric charging of auxiliary battery. Simulation toll PSIM6.0 is used for initial circuit parameter settings and H/W debuging. Thermal problems of Switching components in DC-DC Converter is improved by using Thermo Tracer.

  • HID(High Intensity Discharge) search lamp for shipment requires a high open circuit and output current compare than vehicle. This paper presents a soft-start open circuit voltage and constant current sequence control method for 2.5[kW] HID search lamp. The proposed method controls the opal circuit voltage and discharge current of HID lamp according to ignition signal with a simple 8-bit micro-processor and PWM device. For the stable control of lamp, micro-processor checks the output voltage and current. And the checked signals are compared with ignition signal and changes the control mode for stable operation. An ignition signal and micro-processor change the control mode from open circuit voltage contort to constant current control. The proposed control scheme is verified from experimental tests of 2.5[kW] HID search lamp for shipment.

  • 최근 정보통신의 발달과 함께 고정밀의 전기기기류가 급증하고 있으며, 이들의 회로에는 반도체를 포함하는 전자회로가 주로 사용되고 있어 고전압 및 대전류에 의한 서지로부터 취약성을 드러내고 있다. 따라서 전기적인 외력으로 부터 이들을 안전하게 보호하기위해 서지보호 장치가 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이들 보호 장치를 사용함에도 불구하고 누전차단기의 오동작을 유발하여 정전 등으로 인한 파급사고가 발생할 뿐만 아니라 경제적인 손실과 같은 문제점을 초래하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 서지 전압에 대한 누전차단기의 오동작 특성을 조사하기 위해 IEC C62.41의 규격에 따라 $1.2/50{\mu}s$ 서지발생기를 제작하여 상용주파 전원이 인가 된, 무부하 상태의 누전차단기에 서지를 발생시켜 누전 차단기의 오동작 여부를 측정하였다. 그 결과 시험에 사용된 상용 누전차단기 모두는 오동작을 하여 이에 대한 원인 규명과 더불어 개발에 시급함을 제시하고자 하였다.
