The Factor Analysis of Affecting Elementary Students' Science Attitude Change (초등학교 학생들의 과학 태도 변화에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석)

  • Interest and importance about science attitude are increasing. Science attitudes may influence on students' attainment, consistency and quality of classwork as well as their later views of science education and scientific occupations. This study performed qualitative analysis of the variables that influence on their change of science attitude. To serve the purpose, the participating students in this study were selected from 4th to 6th grade. Interview was administrated to 33 elementary students. The result of this study showed that many science activities or experiments must help students to have positive science attitudes. Science teacher's role is definite and science experience. teacher, classroom climate, and friends influenced on science attitude change. Thinking the results of the present study, it is expected to continue additional research about whether science attitude is influenced on these variables.

  • As the number of Smartphone users increases, mobile advertising market has been expanding rapidly. In line with this, the ways to evaluate mobile advertising effectiveness are diversified, and engagement is one of the crucial qualitative and multi-dimensional evaluation methods of mobile advertising. Thus, the purpose of this study is to identify key antecedents and consequences of mobile advertising engagement, and examines the structural relationships among those research variables. Informativeness and personalization were selected as antecedents of engagement, trust and e-WOM intention were selected as consequences of engagement based on the review of previous studies. Data collected from survey was used to assess research hypotheses. Results show that informativeness and personalization have significant and positive effects on engagement, and engagement influences on trust and e-WOM intention. In addition, trust is proven to be positively related to e-WOM intention.

Alleviating and Promoting Factors on Dissolution Intention in Low Commitment Buyer-Seller Relationships (저결속 구매자-판매자 관계에서 관계해지의 완화요인과 촉진요인)

  • This study has investigated the effects of relieving and promoting factors on dissolution intention under the condition of low commitment buyer-seller relationships. Based on intensive literature reviews, eight alleviating factors (dependence, cooperation, communication, relational norms, transaction specific investments, relationship termination costs, satisfaction, and trust) and five promoting factors (opportunism, conflict, goal incongruity, attractiveness of alternatives, and unfairness) were included. A total of thirteen hypotheses were testee using data collected from a dining franchising system. Among 300 collected, 79 cases of low commitment buyer-seller relationships were analyzed. The results showed that eight out of thirteen hypotheses were supported. But five hypotheses related to the variables of cooperation, transaction specific investments, relationship termination costs, attractiveness of alternatives, and opportunism were not supported. following a detailed presentation of the analysis results, the paper concludes by discussing the academic and managerial implications of the findings.

  • IT 아웃소싱은 IT 서비스 관리에 있어서 가장 중요한 전략 중 하나로 인식되고 있다. 조직의 핵심 역량에 집중하면서 부차적인 IT 업무는 외부로부터 지원을 받는 IT 아웃소싱 전략은 조직의 효율과 성과를 높일 수 있는 효과적인 방안이면서, 보안에 대한 우려와 IT 서비스 공급자에 대한 의존도를 높이는 부작용을 동반하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 민간 기업 데이터 센터의 IT 아웃소싱 전략과 운영을 분석하였다. 국내 주요 IT 서비스 전문 기업 3개사와 금융그룹 1개사의 데이터 센터에 대한 심층 인터뷰를 바탕으로, 데이터 센터들의 IT 아웃소싱 조직 현황, 아웃소싱 결정 요인, 아웃소싱 저해 요소와 해결 방안 등 전반적인 IT 아웃소싱 전략과 운영을 살펴보았다. 국내 주요 기업들의 데이터 센터는 IT 유지 보수, 인프라 기반 운영 등의 업무를 아웃소싱 대상 업무에, 그리고 IT 기획 전략 컨설팅, 시스템 기획 개발 등의 업무는 인소싱(in-house sourcing) 업무로 분류하고 있었다. 또한 IT 아웃소싱 결정 요인으로 내부직원의 역량, 비용, 리스크 등이 있었고, 정량적인 분석보다는 정성적인 판단에 의해 아웃소싱을 결정하고 있었다.

The Change of Middle School Students' Motivation for Investigation through the Extended Science Investigations (확장적 과학 탐구 활동을 통한 중학생의 탐구 동기 변화)

  • In this study. 'extended science investigation' was conceptualized as a comprehensive science investigation contrasted with exercise of process and skill component and cookbook style experiment. The extended investigations should be pursued for giving opportunity of more authentic science activities in school science. And one of important educational objectives in students' science investigations is to achieve motivation for investigation which drives and triggers further investigations. It can be discerned as positive and negative by its direction and also as internal and external by its cause. The purpose of this study was to describe change of students' motivation for investigation while they were performing the extended science investigations. The subject was 128 7th grader attending coeducational school in Seoul. Questionnaires and students' reports were analysed complementarily to describe students' motivation for investigation. The number of students who showed positive motivation for investigation did not increase in the developed extended investigations than in the directive investigations in textbook, but the cause of positive motivation for investigation has changed largely from task-exclusive factors to task-inclusive factors. In case of negative motivation for investigation, regardless of the kind of investigation task, task-inclusive factors were recognized as the main causes. Among those whose motivation changed during successive extended investigations, the students who showed change from negative to positive were more than the reverse. And the number of positive intrinsic motivation for investigation was increased at the second half of the extended science investigations. So it can be said that there was a desirable change of motivation for investigation at the second half the extended science investigations.

  • Intangibility, measurement difficulty and irreversibility, which are the characteristics of service, have such problems as obscurity and uncertainty in quality evaluation. Technical entrepreneurship education, a sort of public service, also contains such characteristics of service. To objectively evaluate the service quality of technical entrepreneurship education, this paper drew up factors as hierarchical structure, centered on FAHP technique, and conducted pre-processing, inputted those factors into triangular fuzzy number fuzzy judgement matrix, and calculated their weights. In this manner, this paper proposed a TESE system, through which an analysis can be conducted by drawing relative importance and priorities of the factors. The proposed system can efficiently evaluate the qualitative technical start-up education service quality factors quantitatively in the diversely changing technical start-up environment in view of the highest result quality (41%), which means performance in the relative importance of major factors. Namely, this paper confirmed that clear decision making can be made through an experiment.

  • Currently, most of big IT companies attempt to penetrate into Internet portal industry aggressively in order to expand their channels(sale, distribution, marketing, R&D, and so on) and to acquire competitive advantages. Existing Internet portals also have become larger and more complex with continuous developments. Therefore, it is necessary to acquire competitive contents to survive the extreme competition and to satisfy diverse needs of customers. In this paper, we have done qualitative analyses on the cases of domestic and foreign major Internet portals which have acquired contents through of M&A and strategic alliances. In our analyses, we identify five factors crucial to the successes and failures of Internet portals. From the analyses, we find that the acquisition of UCC based contents and subscribers over the critical mass point are the two most important factors that should be simultaneously satisfied for the successful M&As. Additional analyses suggest how to acquire synergy effects from successful M&As.

A Study on the Analysis and Prediction of Housing Mortgage in Deposit Bank Using ARIMA Model (ARIMA 모형을 활용한 예금은행 주택담보대출 분석 및 예측 연구)

  • In this study, we conducted a prediction study to qualitatively identify the continuous growth rate that causes problems every year for deposit bank mortgage loans, identify the characteristic factors that could once again stabilize, and come up with measures for future quantitative analysis of mortgage loans and growth trends. Based on data analysis using the R program, which is widely used for big data analysis, the parameters of ARIMA model (0.1,1)(0.1,1)[12] were found to be most suitable. In these indicators, estimates over the next five years (60 months) increased 4.5% on average. However, this has limitations that do not reflect socio-environmental factors, which require further study of these limitations.

  • This study examines the psychological factors of consumers to On-Demand O2O service which is different from the previous study on O2O service. To investigate the relative influence of consumer's psychological attachment of On-Demand O2O service, enjoyment, and trust on consumer's satisfaction and attitude, I conducted qualitative and quantitative surveys to investigate consumers' perception. Through the quantitative survey on 152 participants, the study shows that the consumer's psychological attachment to the service has the greatest influence on the attitude toward On-Demand O2O service and the trust has the highest effect on satisfaction with service. This study is meaningful in that the consumer's psychological factors to the O2O service is examined from the consumer's point of view. This study suggests that the consumer's attachment and trust should be considered primarily to expand the On-Demand O2O service.

The Evaluation of Physical Environmental Factors in Urban Parks for Healthy City - Focus on Seoul - (건강증진을 위한 도시공원의 물리적 환경요소 평가 - 서울시를 대상으로 -)

  • This study quantitatively and qualitatively analyzes the physical environment for health promotion in urban parks by indicators that were selected in consideration of overseas cases and previous studies. To evenly distribute the areas to be evaluated by region, Seodaemun Independence Park, Hongneung Park, Gocheok Park, Sillim Park, Cheongdam Park, Gaepo Park, and Sungin Park were selected among the old neighborhood parks already established in Seoul. The evaluation indicators consist of quantitative indicators (12 factors classified into the three categories of the surrounding environment, the park characteristics, and the park facilities) and qualitative indicators (14 factors classified according to the five categories of accessibility, safety, convenience, activities, and amenities). These indicators were selected after conducting advisory meetings with experts in the field. The physical environment perception factors were evaluated by experts and investigators by field inspections and were rated on a three-point scale (high, medium, low). According to the results of the analysis, first, not only were exercise facilities and trails, but also various factors which support health activities, such as rest areas, leisure spots, and cultural facilities, as well as accessibility, cleanliness, and drinking water facilities are important indicators for health promotion. Second, even if the requirements are met for quantitative factors, several inconveniences hinder the actual implementation or use in the qualitative evaluation. Thus, both quantitative and qualitative evaluations must be simultaneously performed for the proper judging of the physical environment of a park. Third, upon conducting a qualitative evaluation of the physical environmental factors, score differences depended on the evaluated categories in each park. These differences show that indirect indicators, such as accessibility, safety, and facility convenience are insufficiently equipped compared to direct indicators, such as activity, which includes exercise facilities and fitness centers for health promotion. As the utilization rate of parks is increasing due to COVID-19, more efforts should be made to improve park services in the post-corona era. To promote such services, it is necessary to regularly evaluate parks based on both quantitative and qualitative indicators and to contemplate services not only through direct factors but also indirect factors and security measures.
