Although many studies have been carried out on the pattern of behavior of drivers which result from the provision of traffic information, there have been few detailed studies on the composition of message, method for message expression, timing of provision, point of provision, media for provision, changes by traffic condition, etc. This study was intended to provide an insight into the changes in the characteristics related to the provision of information by analyzing how the patterns of information utilization change depending on the traffic condition and reclassifying such patterns according to the characteristics of media. Unlike the existing studies, this study adopted the traffic condition, using rate of information media, and the correlation coefficient label as the basis for information media classification, and categorized them into passive utilization media, active utilization media, and past experience in order to ensure the statistical reasonability. The categorized using rate of information media and traffic condition was found to have a positive(+) correlation with the travel speed in the case of passive utilization media during both consecutive holidays(Korea's traditional Thanksgiving day) and weekends, but had a negative(-) correlation with the positive utilization media and past experience. The rate of decision to take a detour based on the past experience was high at the condition of congestion or slow during both consecutive holidays and weekends, but the rate of decision to take a detour through passive utilization media was high in a smooth traffic. In other words, if the traffic condition worsens, using rate of passive utilization media would be low while the diversion rate would be high which uses the active utilization media and past experience. Therefore, it should be established to suit the traffic condition and media characteristics for strategies of traffic distribution through drivers' diversion behavior on weekends and consecutive holidays.

본 논문에서는 재난 정보를 효율적으로 전송을 위해서 재난방송 전달 매체에 대해서 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 TV를 매체로 하고 있는 재난방송 온라인 시스템, 휴대폰을 이용한 휴대폰 재난정보 전송서비스, DMB를 이용한 재난정보 전송 서비스의 현재 개발된 기술들의 특징을 분석하였고, 기존 재난 전달 매체와 신규 전달매체의 장 단점을 비교 하였다. 기존매체는 현재 체계적인 시스템을 갖추었으나, 단편적인 정보만 획득 가능하다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 신규매체의 경우에는 아직 체계적인 시스템을 갖추지 못하고 있지만, 시스템을 갖출 경우에는 기존 매체에 특징을 합친 장점을 가질 수 있다.

본고는 아직 우리들에게 생소한 분야인 CD-ROM(Compact Disk-Read Only Memory)이라고 하는 정보매체가 어떻게 Audio CD에서 발전하여 컴퓨터의 Data Storage의 매체로 탄생되었는지에 대해 다음과 같은 내용을 해설하였다. 첫째는 매체로서의 잇점과 그것을 정보전달매체로서 이용하였을 때의 특징에 대하여 기술하였으며 둘째는 실제로 CD-ROM을 사용한 시스팀으로서는 어떠한 형태로 되는가,Application을 염두에 두고 생각한다. 셋째는 데이터의 가공에서 디스크의 제작에 이르기까지의 과정에 대하여 기술하였으며 끝으로 장래의 전망과 문제점에 대하여 간단히 기술하였다.

Whereas traditional user interface are well accepted modes of information exchange, the new digital conversion type's of information media is relatively complex and provides new means of transaction with user interface. User interface can be decomposed into two component: the physical structure through which information media is controlled, and the presentation of the content. This research explores the two user interface element have different effect on the adoption of information media and, as such, can influence perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use, and intention of use. The hypotheses have been tested with the survey of 148 end-users examines two interface characteristics factors such as efficiency, error, design, entertainment, accuracy, and vividness, and so on. The research summarized in this paper decomposes the influence of interface elements of physical structure interface and content presentation interface to gain a better understanding of how interface stimulates user's perceived usefulness to adopt the information media.

최근 급속한 정보량의 증가와 함께 정보 통신 기술의 발달 및 인터넷의 보급의 확산에 따라 정보의 배포와 이응 방법도 크게 변화하고 있다. 즉, 기하급수적으로 증가하는 정보에 비해 산술적 증가 혹은 고정적인 공간 때문에 모든 도서관은 공간적인 문제에 직면하게 되었다. 과거로부터 정보커뮤니케이션, 특히 학문 연구분야의 주류매체로서 입지를 유지하였던 인쇄형 학술지는 연구활동의 가장 중요한 정보원으로써 연구자들의 연구동향과 함께 최신의 연구내용을 전달하는 매체이다. 도서관 및 정보센터는 학술지를 최대한 수집해야 하는데 학술지의 가격급등과 한정된 도서관 공간문제는 난제로 대두되고 있다. 이 연구는 국내외에서 이루어지고 있는 인쇄매체, 디지털매체에 담긴 학술정보자원의 아카이빙에 대한 연구동향 중 인쇄매체 또는 디지털매체로 학계에서 가장 활발하게 이용되고 있는 학술지를 디지털화하여 도서관 상호이용방식으로 서비스할 수 있는 방안을 고찰한 것이다.

As the amount of information is rapidly growing, and the ubiquitous urban environments are emerging, the question which information type to provide and which communication media to support is a major challenge for commercial and public travel-information service providers. The current research reports the first findings of analyses of recent data, collected in metropolitan Seoul, about the acquisition of travel information and the communication media used. The study is based on the assumption that information acquisition and choice of communication medium is strongly context-driven. The study applies CHAID analysis to find homogeneous segments in information acquisition and use of communication media. Findings indicate that transport mode and activity are important determinant of information acquisition and choice of media. The type of travel information acquired co-varies strongly with transport mode and activity. In addition, we found evidence of time of day effects. Similarly, the choice of communication medium depends on the type of travel information searched for, transport mode and activity. The results suggest important implications of managerial and policy measures, in particular the dynamic, contextual market segmentation.

본 연구에서는 온라인 커뮤니케이션 매체특성이 그룹의 협력과 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향을 메신저와 e-Learning시스템을 대상으로 비교분석하였다. 독립변수인 커뮤니케이션 매체특성은 풍부성(richness), 동기성(synchronization), 유연성(flexibility), 이용편이성(easy of use)으로 구분하였으며, 이 매체특성들이 그룹의 협력에 미치는 영향과 궁극적으로 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향을 밝혀내고자 하였다. 검증을 위해 실제 그룹 프로젝트를 수행하는 실험 설계를 이용하였다. 연구결과 메신저를 주로 이용하여 프로젝트를 수행한 그룹에서는 커뮤니케이션 매체특성으로 풍부성과 이용편이성이 협력을 증진시키는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, e-Learning 시스템을 주로 이용한 그룹에서는 이용 편이성만이 협력을 증진시켰으며, 궁극적으로 프로젝트 성과를 향상시키는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

서로 다른 수중 통신 매체 사이의 각기 다른 장단점을 해결하기 위해 여러 종류의 수중 통신 모듈을 함께 운용하는 통신 기술인 다중매체 통신 기술이 등장하였다. 다중매체 통신은 한 네트워크에서 서로 다른 통신 매체들을 함께 운용하기 때문에 이들의 전송 속도 차이로 인한 흐름 제어 문제가 발생한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 통신 속도 차이로 인한 전송데이터 손실을 미연에 방지하는 수중 다중매체 통신에서 전송데이터 흐름을 제어하는 일종의 DTN (Delay/ Disruption Tolerant Network) 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이 전송 속도 제어 프로토콜을 이용하여 수중 다중매체 통신 네트워크에서 전송 속도 차이로 인해 한 노드에 메시지가 쌓여 전송 큐의 전송데이터 손실이 예측되는 경우 보조 저장장치를 이용하여 큐의 길이를 늘이고, 보조 저장장치 또한 전송데이터 손실이 예측되는 경우 전송 중인 노드에 전송 일시중지를 요청하며 지연상태가 해결된 후 다시 전송을 요청할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze media in the elementary moral textbooks with the information processing model and suggest some ways to boost media literacy within the school library. In this study, the three national moral curriculum for the 4th, 5th and 6th elementary students are assayed. As the results of analysis, the inputs of the elementary moral textbooks are bias toward pictures (visual media) and stories (printed media), its' processing focus on investigation and workbooks using the table and its' outputs are based on the writing, speaking and making (creating). But there are so lack of specific activities to achieve relevant information form the media and the reading strategies of visual media as the elements of inputs. The school library should serve various reading materials considering the develop of reading interest, make workbooks for learning strategies according to the text types and try to secure collaborative teaching time to resolve the bias toward media of inputs, increase information processing activities and improve students' media literacy.

본 논문에서는 CD, DVD, 책과 같은 정보 저장 매체와 디지털 환경을 조합하여, 사용자로 하여금 쉽게 정보에 접근 가능하도록 하는 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템에서는 RFID를 이용하여 각 물리적 정보 저장 매체를 디지털 정보와 연계하고, 연계된 디지털 정보를 직관적이고 편리하게 이용 가능하도록 하는 "스마트 퍽"이라는 인터페이스 도구를 사용하여 사용자가 컴퓨터와 상호작용할 수 있도록 한다. 시스템은 PDP 기반의 테이블 디스플레이 장치, 그 위에 나타나는 정보와 직접적이고 직관적인 인터랙션이 가능한 인터페이스 도구인 스마트 퍽, RFID 인식 장치 등으로 구성되었다. 최종적으로는 이 시스템을 이용하여 실제 음악 CD를 디지털 정보로 나타내고, 쉽게 조작하여 재생하는 예시를 보이기로 한다.
