Smart learning is a new trend in education following E-learning, U-Learning, and M-Learning. In June 2011, the Korean government announced the education policy on promoting smart learning, and presented the vision and the direction for the smart learning. However, it seems that the current government-directed education policy on smart learning has promoted the unconditional implementation of the policy without taking into consideration of a variety of factors, such as the reality of the classroom, educational environment, educators' competencies to use smart learning, and so on. The aims of this study are to examine the reality of the classroom and the educational environments for smart learning, and to take a survey on the elementary teachers' use of the smart learning. In addition, the study attempted to investigate the teachers' understanding of the various factors regarding the use of smart learning. On the basis of the results of the survey, the problems of implementing smart learning in the classroom were analyzed, and then some suggestions were made to pave the way for the more improved and systematic smart learning.

This study aims to examine the factors influencing the satisfaction of life, digital information competency, digital information utilization, awareness of future knowledge and information technology, the need for knowledge and information technology, confidence in new technology, and attitude to middle and old people classified as vulnerable to digital information. For the research, raw data of the digital divide survey were used in 2019. Studies have shown that digital information utilization varies depending on the level of awareness of the future intelligence information society. Group with high awareness of the future intelligence information society showed high ability to use information in various fields. The more people recognize the need for future intelligent information technology as a factor that affects the satisfaction of life among middle and high-aged people, and the more confident and active their confidence and attitude toward new technology, the higher their satisfaction with life. It is believed that a policy focusing on digital information capabilities and utilization will be needed to actively respond to changes in the environment of middle and old people from the perspective of digital inclusion.

This study deals with information poverty and information service for information welfare of North Korean refugees. On the basis of the data collected and analyzed, it was concluded that North Korean refugees were situated at information poverty, as compared to the situation of South Koreans. It was also found out that their information poverty was caused by the inferiority of their information literary and information environment. In conclusion, this study made some suggestions for overcoming the information poverty and promoting the information welfare of North Korean refugees.

The Information society is accelerating it's speed of change with the IT technology at the center of it and the society as a whole is in the process of transition. The purpose of study is to reveal the information gap among the public servants of Chungbuk Province. For that reason this study on the information gap of the officers is considering the effectiveness of IT. First, A theoretical approach has been made about Information Divide. Second, the analysis of questionaire on the information divide use frequency analysis, means analysis, factor analysis, and t-test.

This study is to clarify how college students think about quality computer classes. Q methodology is applied to extract the subjective thinking of college students. After extracting the statements through students' interviews and advanced study, the 54 Q samples were selected. The P sample consisted of 50 college students. They performed Q sort against the Q sample questionnaire. The Q sort results were analyzed by performing QUANL program. As a result of the analysis, four types of perceptions of quality computer classes based on college students' ideas were extracted. There were no differences between male and female students, but there was a clear difference between general college and teacher's college students by type. The types were divided into four categories which we named as follows: is 'Value change-oriented class through creative problem-solving', is 'Improving computer application skills through the learner's competition', is 'Improving advanced computer technology with programming skills' and is 'Learner centered pleasant class'.

As the world develops into a global society, more and more people want to speak foreign languages fluently. To speak fluently, you must have sufficient training in speaking, which requires a dialogue partner. Recently, it is expected that the development of voice recognition information technology will enable the development of a system for conducting foreign language speaking training without human beings from the other party. In this study, a test bed system for foreign language speaking training was developed and applied to elementary school classes. Elementary school students were asked to present their English conversation situation and conduct speaking training. Then, satisfaction with the system and potential for continuous utilization were surveyed. The system developed in this study has been identified as helpful for the training of learning to speak a foreign language.

The purpose of this study is to explore and propose policy alternatives by examining students' educational experiences at Chungbuk National University (CBNU). Some of the outstanding research findings of the study as follows. Students at CBNU think that they are capable of team-working and utilizing internet while less so with foreign language skill. With regard to academic achievement, students responded that they have seen a relatively low outcome in foreign language competency. In terms of their job placement, CBNU students highly recognize their logical thinking skill, creativity, and activity, whereas lower satisfaction with social service, study abroad, and internship experience. For further development of the survey analysis, this study suggests additional items included to make a sophisticated analysis possible such as scholarship, part-time job, educational outcome. This is expected to allow researchers to tab into the effect of finance of CBNU students. More detailed information on students' characteristics also need to be added; collaborative learning, student faculty interaction, co-work with students from diverse background, etc., which would allow the analysis of the impact of extra-curricula activities.

인터넷의 이용이 생활화되면서 학생들의 인터넷 이용능력은 점차 향상되어가고 있으며 그 이용시간도 증가하는 추세다. 인터넷은 접근하기가 편리하고 시간적, 공간적 제약을 극복할 수 있고, 경제적 이점도 가져다주므로 인터넷의 교육적 활용에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문은 인터넷에 기반한 교육적 활용의 한 모델로서 WEB기반 학습지도.평가 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 즉 가상의 공간에서 교사와 학생이 상호 작용하면서 교수 학습할 수 있는 방법에 주목하여 교사는 WEB상에서 문제를 출제하고 학생 역시 WEB을 통해 손쉽게 문제를 풀고 결과를 확인할 수 있게 하는 것이다. 제안한 시스템의 설계를 위해 기존의 유사시스템을 비교.분석하여 필수 구성요소를 모두 포함하면서 미래의 학습평가방식에 적합한 효율적이고 유연성있는 모델을 만들었다. 설문조사를 통한 평가에서는 시스템의 학습효과성과 발전가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 평가를 통해 나타난 문제점을 보완하고 새로운 기능에 대한 연구가 따른다면 교사와 학생 모두에게 새로운 학습도구로서 흥미를 불러일으킬 수 있고, 학습 도구에 관한 새로운 인식전환의 기회가 될 것으로 생각된다.

인간의 행동을 통해 내재된 의도를 인식하고 그 의도에 대응하는 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 능력을 로봇에게 부여하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 모방적 동기화 및 학습에 의한 인간-로봇 상호작용(Human-Robot Interaction, HRI) 시스템의 개발이 주목받고 있다. 하지만 인간이 관찰과 모방을 통해 목적을 가진 행동을 학습하는 과정은 감각 정보를 대응하는 운동 정보로 연계하고 모방 주체와 모방 대상 간의 물리적 상태의 차이를 보정하고 관측된 행동에 내재된 의도 또는 목표를 이해하는 복잡한 메커니즘 단계의 연속이기 때문에 이를 수행하기 위한 기술개발이 필요하다. 본고에서는 실제 인간이 수행하는 모방적 동기화 및 학습에 관여하는 것으로 추정되는 거울뉴런 시스템에 대하여 소개하고 이를 HRI 시스템에 활용하기 위해 개발된 선행 기술 동향을 논하고자 한다. 또한, 본 연구실에서 관련하여 진행해온 관련 연구를 통해 현재 거울 뉴런 시스템의 발전 정도와 향후 활용 방안 및 가능성을 고찰해보도록 한다.

프로그래밍 능력은 21세기 정보화 사회를 살아가는데 있어 인간이 컴퓨터를 활용하여 다양한 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 도움을 준다. 효과적인 프로그래밍 교육이 이루어지기 위해서는 학습자들에게 순차적 수행, 조건적 수행, 반복적 수행과 같은 기본적인 프로그래밍 개념을 습득하도록 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 스도쿠 인공지능 프로그래밍 교육에서 프로그래밍의 기본 개념을 바탕으로 알고리즘을 설계하는 방법을 학습시키는 방안을 모색하기 위한 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 중학생 10명을 대상으로 실험 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 학습자는 연구자가 제안한 활동지가 알고리즘 설계 학습에 도움이 된 것으로 인식한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 프로그래밍 교육에서 초보 학습자가 이해하기 어려워하는 프로그래밍 개념을 학습하는데 도움이 되는 학습 방법을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.
