The purpose of this study was to develop a competency-based continuing professional development (CPD) model using the National Competency Standards (NCS)-Library & Information Management. This study specifically examined various competency standards for librarians developed in and out of the country, conducted a survey research and focused group interviews to obtain professional librarians' needs for continuing education and their opinions on the NCS for library professions. It analyzed the contents of the NCS elements and mapped with elements in the five other competency standards for library and information professions. It also scrutinized the current training programs at the National Library of Korea in order to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The results of the study informed the areas to enhance the current NCS by identifying underdeveloped competencies and identified the course contents that should be developed with priorities. The study also developed a modified National Competency Standards for Continuing Professional Development (NCS-CPD). Continuing education institutions can utilize this scheme as a useful guideline to develop balanced continuing professional development curriculums for the practitioners working in various library and information centers.

This study reviews previous studies about the effects of RFID capabilities on strategic supply chain competence and business performance in the Chinese context. This study introduces a new perspective that measures the degree to which RFID capability levels contribute to business performance. Such an assumption is based on the fact that companies build their own capabilities through RFID capabilities and that these capabilities provide a competitive advantage for enterprises. Data on all sorts of logistics, distribution, and manufacturing companies that introduced RFID system in China were collected for data analysis. This study analyzes the structural equation modeling using Smart-PLS 2.0 program. This study confirms that internal reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity are satisfied. The hypothesis test result on the relationship between RFID capacity and strategic supply chain competence and strategic supply chain competence and company results is partially adopted. This study aids in establishing a RFID system construction strategy to enhance supply chain competence by suggesting guidelines for the successful introduction of RFID system through identifying the causal relationship between RFID capacity and strategic supply chain competence. This study also suggests the influence of RFID competency on visibility, agility, flexibility, and collaborations.

This study was to examine perceptions of information technology(IT) competencies among gifted and non-gifted students(i.e., information science high school students and technical high school students). Of the 370 high school students surveyed from 3 high schools(i.e., gifted academy, information science high school, and technical high school) in three metropolitan cities, Korea, 351 students completed and returned the questionnaires yielding a total response rate of 94.86%. High school students recognized the IT professional competence as being most important when recruiting IT employees. And they considered that practice-oriented education was the most importantly needed to improve their IT skills. In addition, the most important sub-factors of IT core competencies among gifted academy students and information science high school students were basic software skills. Also Technical high school students responded that the main network and security capabilities were the most importantly needed to do so. Finally, the most appropriate training courses for enhancing IT competencies were recognized differently among gifted and non-gifted students. Gifted academy students responded that the 'algorithm' was the mostly needed for enhancing IT competencies, whereas information science high school students responded that 'data structures' and 'computer architecture' were mostly needed to do. For technical high school students, they responded that a 'programming language' course was the most needed to do so. Results are discussed in relations to IT corporate and school settings.

The core competence is further growing in importance as a concept that must be continuously developed by individuals and should be reflected in the school curriculum. In this study, we analyze the relationship between core competence and graduation credits (learning ability) of students who have completed a core competence-centered curriculum for graduates of D-University, and reflect it in the curriculum of D-University and university education policy. The purpose is to improve. We plan to utilize the results of future analysis as materials for human resource development that matches the human resources image of D-University.

Recently advanced security threats have increasingly occurred, and the necessity and importance of Information Security has been growing with the advent of the era of convergence beyond information-oriented age. Most domestic studies in the field of occupational classification of Information Security have only focused on technology-oriented occupations. Relatively little research has been carried out on the occupational classification in the view of convergence environment. Therefore, in this paper we gave a definition of Information Security occupations, classified them and draw required capabilities by occupations in order to design the occupational classification system of Information Security and the required capabilities for future convergence environment by analyzing the previous studies. We also reclassified the occupational classification and required capabilities by occupations, and verified the validity of them based on National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education's the occupational classification system of Information Security considering the future convertgence environment. It is expected that the results of this study will be employed as base data for manpower demand and supply and improvement of working conditions in the future convergence environments. In the future study we will build standardized instruction methods which provide occupational capabilities by using the required capabilities by occupations.

본 논문은 철강산업의 R&D 역량강화를 위해 IT 부문이 지원할 수 있는 정책을 모색하고 이에 대한 타당성을 검증한 사례연구이다. 기술추격형에서 기술선도형의 전환기에 놓여있는 국내 철강산업이 R&D 역량을 강화하기 위해서는 개별 철강사뿐만 아니라 대학, 연구소 등 외부와의 개방형 R&D 연계체제를 적극 추진해야 한다. 이러한 상황하에서 IT가 R&D 역량 강화를 효과적으로 지원하는 역할을 수행해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 목적을 갖는 IT 분야의 지원정책들을 개발하고 우선순위 분석, 수요분석 등을 통해 제안된 정책들의 타당성을 검토하며, Triple Helix관점에서 정부, 기업, 학계의 역할을 논의한다.

최근 국내 재난발생의 빈도가 잦고 이를 해결하기 위한 재난대응 담당자들의 역량에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 재난역량을 강화하기 위한 교육 및 훈련에 대한 체계 정립이 강화되고 있다. 본 연구는 실제 재난발생사례 및 추이 분석을 통한 대규모 국가재난으로 전개 가능한 시나리오를 개발하고, 시나리오 전개에 따른 현대비수준과의 갭을 분석하여 재난관리책임기관의 대응역량 강화 방안을 마련하는 것을 연구 목표로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 여러 가지 재난 유형 중 최근 위험성이 커지고 있는 "화학유해물질 유출사고"에 관한 재난 상황 시나리오를 개발하여 시나리오의 재난요인 변수 데이터가 재난책임 담당자의 대응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고, 재난요인 변수 DB를 활용하여 재난대응역량 강화에 대한 방안을 제공한다.

본 논문에서는 중등 교육에 적합한 데이터 리터러시 핵심 역량을 도출하기 위해 국내외 중등 교육과정의 내용을 분석하였다. 고등 교육 졸업생들을 대상으로 개발된 기존 데이터 리터러시 역량 프레임워크를 분석 매트릭스로하여 한국, 영국, 호주, 싱가포르, CSTA의 교육과정 내용을 분석한 결과, 중등 교육과정에서 공통적으로 나타나는 역량과 기존 프레임워크에 있으나 중등 교육과정에는 포함되지 않은 역량, 기존 프레임워크에 없지만 중등 교육과정에서 공통적으로 나타나는 내용 등을 확인할 수 있었다.

반도체 칩 부족에 따른 신차 생산 중단 및 중고차 가격 급상승, 항구 파업으로 수입 차량 인도 지연 등 예측 불가능한 사회 현상이 빈번히 발생하는 상황에서도 신속히 대응하며 운영해야하는 자동차 딜러쉽의 총괄 관리자 역할은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 캐나다 온타리오 주 내 현대자동차 딜러쉽을 대표하는 8명의 지점장들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. AHP 기법을 통해 총괄 관리자에게 가장 중요한 핵심 역량을 파악하였고, 의사 결정, 직원과의 관계, 코칭 및 멘토링 등이 핵심 역량으로 도출되었다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 채용 과정에서 평가 지표로 활용될 수 있고, 현직 총괄 관리자들의 역량 향상을 위한 교육 시스템 구축 및 적용을 통해 딜러쉽의 성공적인 운영과 더 큰 성과 창출에도 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a diagnostic tool to strengthen the reading competencies of children and adolescents with disabilities, analyze its validity and reliability, and present basic data for the development of a diagnostic program. For this study, it was conducted on literature and case studies, the Delphi Method, and a preliminary survey of actual disabled children/adolescents. As a result of the study, there were limitations in validity and reliability analysis due to the small number of samples, but basic data was secured along with the development of a prototype diagnostic tool for the reading ability of children and adolescents with disabilities. It was proposed to develop the future reading competency diagnostic program by expanding it to the web and mobile platforms, considering various variables such as the characteristics of each disability type, a plan for data collection and utilization through big data, diagnostic procedures, and precautions during the diagnosis.
