Technology start-up education through value based business model (가치기반 비즈니스모델 기술창업교육방법론)

  • 본 논문은 최근 이슈가 되고있는 창업화성화에 따른 대학 및 민간 창업교육에 있어 기술창업 분야에 가치 기반 비즈니스 모델을 교육하는 방법론에 대해 제안한다. 가치이론은 심리학자인 Rokeach와 Schwartz, 컨설팅회사인 Roper에 의해 다양하게 연구되어왔으며 사용되어 왔다. 가치란 인간이 요구하는 것으로써 제품이나 서비스에서 제공되고 있다. 이러한 가치에 따라 비즈니스 모델을 교육하는 방법은 가치의 결정, 시나리오의 작성, WWH 테이블의 작성, 비즈니스 프로세스의 작성, 가치 맵의 작성 과정을 거쳐 기술창업의 비즈니스모델화가 되는 과정을 실습함으로써 이루어진다. 본 연구는 이러한 교육 프로세스를 정의하며, 특히 현재 기술창업교육이 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 공학대학에서 사용할 수 있는 방법론을 제공한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다차원법과 CVM을 이용하여, 도시홍수 방재시스템의 가치를 추정하였다. 방재사업은 예산의 편성과 집행과정 중에 연기 또는 집행 순서가 변경되기도 한다. 이는 즉각적인 효과가 드러나기 어려운 특징 등 때문에 시민 공감을 얻기에 어려우며, 정치적이고 경제적인 요인 등에 의한 것으로 추정된다. 따라서 시민들이 체감하고 있는 방재사업의 가치 규모를 추정하고자 하였다. 정책 공급자들이 홍수 방재 사업의 추진 결정에 참고하는 가치와 시민들이 생각하는 가치를 다차원법과 CVM으로 각각 추정한 결과, 다차원법으로 산정된 가치보다 시민들의 필요 가치가 낮게 추정되었다. 따라서 정책 수요자들의 공감을 이끌어 내기 위한 노력을 지속해야 할 것이다.

  • The introduction of the Digital Economy has formed a new market producing and trading information. Depending on the current contexts, each user evaluates identical information differently. It is difficult, even though important, to create and deliver the information customized to individual users by using some factors as time, location, and their personal characteristics. Information value, therefore, could be influenced by the capability of information systems to delivery useful information based on individual contexts to the right user immediately at the right time. From this point of view, we argue mobile systems which are able to be aware of individual contexts and deliver contextual information in real time can improve information value easily than other systems can. This research presents the results of an empirical test about antecedents to mobile advertising value. Though context relevance doesn't influence directly mobile advertising value, it plays an important role enhancing information usefulness which has great influence on mobile advertising value. Moreover, to supply information connected with users' context overcomes the effect of irritation. Lastly, entertainment can improve mobile advertising value as satisfying user's hedonic desire beyond the information source supporting decision making.

Product Value Evaluation Models based on Itemset Association Chain (상품군 연관망 기반의 상품가치 평가모형)

  • Association rules among product items by association analysis suggest sales effect among products. These are useful for marketing strategies such as cross-selling and product display etc. However, if we evaluate more practical product values reflecting cross-selling effects, they will be also more useful for the decisions of companies such as product item selection for product assortment and profit maximization etc. This study proposes product value evaluation models with the concept of effective value based on single-item association chain and itemset association chain. In addition to that, we performed experiments with transaction data related to clothing of an online shopping mall in Korea to show the performances of our models. In result, we confirmed that some items increased in effective values compared with their pure values while the others decreased in effective values.

  • The variable message sign(VMS) is a facility to smoothen traffic flows and enable safe passing by providing real-time necessary information on roads, weather, transportation, and traffic regulations. The VMS also solves a feeling of uneasiness and gives a sense of psychological security by providing information to drivers. However, the VMS has a strong character of being a non-market product but a public product, so it has not normally been evaluated for its value. This research has evaluated a value of satisfaction level for traffic information users, using a contingent valuation method(CVM). As a result of evaluating the value of satisfaction level for users through division into an urban roadway and an urban highway for the cities where an intelligent transportation system(ITS) has been established, the urban highway had a value of 96.7 won/system and the urban roadway had a value of 76.3 won/system.

  • The research reports the results from an investigation of various measurement elements and techniques appropriate for the economic assessment of academic libraries, with a view to apply them in future evaluation of academic libraries in Korea. Two libraries participated in the pilot study. In one library, CVM (contingency valuation method) was applied to services ranging from circulation, electronic collection, reference, user education and facility. In the second library, three different methodologies--time value, alternative service value and CVM--were all applied to measure the value of electronic collection. The research provides analyses of measurement elements used, study procedures and measurement results. Based on these analyses, the study also makes suggestions in the areas of measurement goals, service, users and the calculation of B/C ratios that need to be taken into consideration in order to execute reliable and valid assessment of academic library's value.

  • Traffic information provision plays an important role in increasing the efficiency of network operation and in providing convenience for roadway users. As a typical device for disseminating real-time traffic information for collective general public, VMS is a prevalent device nowadays and it is being expanded. However, the actual monetary value of traffic information is not quantified up to now. The previous studies regarding VMS traffic information are mainly focused on the behavioral aspects of road users such as departure time and route choices under traffic information provision conditions. This paper tried to estimate the monetary value of VMS traffic information using discrete choice theory and logit model through the stated preference study(SP). The methodological framework adopted in this paper can also be used in evaluating the monetary value of other traffic information providers including PDA, CNS, and mobile phone.

  • It is highly required to evaluate the economic value of technology in many decision making of the technology management area, for example, technology acquisition, transfer, and investments. Also evaluating the performance of R&D objectively is very important subject in the public side. So, developing the objective technology evaluation system has much usefulness in practice. In many studies, the patent information has been suggested to the valid measurement for evaluation of technology. The purpose of this study is to explore the validity of patent information as a measurement of technology evaluation.

  • The main purpose of the present study are as follows: First, through the extensive literature review, we tried to find out environmental changes in the management thoughts. Second, as we found a new paradigm on valuation-oriented management thoughts, we argued that cost/management accounting information should play key roles in creating values. Third, we pointed out that when firms used only financial performance measurements, problems could take places. Finally, especially to promote the organizational effectiveness and efficiency, we stressed that firms should use the balanced scorecard approach in performance measurements of its own organizations and personnels.
