Design of controller in control system with two degrees of freedom by the normal method (정규화법에 의한 2자유도 제어계에서 제어기의 설계)

  • Many control techniques have been proposed in order to improve the control performance of the control system. The degree of freedom on control in the control system is decided by the number of the closed-loop transfer function which can adjust independently. The controller design scheme with two degrees of freedom(TDOF) is extensively used for securing the good control performance to trace a desired value and reject disturbance. In this paper, PID controller is used by controller with TDOF and the design method for control system with TDOF is proposed by the normal method. Using the coefficients of the transfer function of the plant, the transfer function of the control system is normalized by the proposed design method and the parameters of the controller are determined. The control system with the TDOF is constructed by using this method. Through the simulation results, the usefulness of the proposed algorithm is proved.

Dynamic Fracture Testing of Welding part of Nuclear Piping by Using Normalization Method (정규화법을 이용한 원전배관 용접부의 동하중 파괴저항시험)

  • The unloading compliance method is the most commonly used method to evaluate the fracture resistance characteristics of a material. In dynamic loading condition, the direct current potential drop(DCPD) method has been used because the unloading compliance method can not be applied due to the discontinuity of loading. However, even in the dynamic test using DCPD method, there is a problem that the voltage drops sharply on the initiation of crack. For the reason metioned above, the normalization method was suggested on ASTM E 1820 which is revised recently, as a new method to evaluate the dynamic fracture resistance characteristic. The nomalization method can be used to obtain a fracture resistance curve directly from a load-load line displacement. In this study, we obtained two fracture resistance curves from static test of welding part of nuclear piping both by unloading compliance and nomalization method. The two curves were almost same each other, so the adaptability of the nomalization method has been proved. We conducted a dynamic fracture resistance test for the same material. The fracture resistance curve from the dynamic test was obtained by normalization method and compared to that of the static test result.

  • 음성합성은 합성방식에 따라 파형부호화법, 신호원부호화법, 혼성부호화법으로 분류할 수 있다. 특히 고음질 합성을 위해서는 파형부호화를 이용한 합성방식이 적합하다 하지만 파형부호화를 이용한 합성법은 여기 성분과 여파기 성분을 분리하지 않고 처리하기 때문에 음절단위나 음소단위의 합성기법으로는 바람직하지 못하다. 따라서 파형부호화법을 규칙에 의한 합성에 적용되도록 음원피치를 변경시키기 위한 피치 변경법이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 스펙트럼 왜곡을 최소화하기 위해 서브 선형근사에 의하여 스펙트럼 평탄화 시킨 후 스펙트럼 스케일링을 이용하여 피치를 변경하는 방법에 대하여 제안하였다. 기존 방법인 LPC법, Cepstrum법과 비교하여 어느 정도의 우수성을 보이는지 평가하였고 평가방법은 각각의 평탄화 된 신호의 분산을 구하여 평탄화의 정도를 측정하였다. 이때 평탄화 된 신호는 최고점이 영이 되도록 정규화 시키고 평균이 영인 분산을 계산하였다. 제안한 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 스펙트럼 왜곡율을 측정하여 본 결과 평균 스펙트럼 왜곡율은 평균 2.12% 이하로 유지되었으며 실험결과 제안한 방법이 기존의 방법보다 우수함을 보여주었다.

수묵화 렌더링 기술동향

  • 비사실적 렌더링 기술의 발전과 더불어 동양의 전통적인 화법인 수묵화에 대한 관심도 증가했다. 최근에는 수묵화 스타일의 애니메이션이 CF를 비롯해 컴퓨터 게임에도 사용되면서 그 영역을 확대하고 있다. 하지만 서양의 화법과는 달리 수묵화 렌더링은 연구가 많이 진행되지 않았다. 따라서 앞으로 많은 연구가 이루어질 것으로 예상되고 있으며 그 응용범위 역시 매우 넓을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 이 글에서는 수묵화 렌더링 기술의 중요한 연구 결과를 설명하고 그 응용 사례를 살펴보기로 한다. 또한 지금까지의 연구 동향 분석을 바탕으로 앞으로의 발전 방향을 제시하려 한다.

  • Length normalization by variable frame size is proposed as a novel approach to length normalization to solve the problem that the length variation of spoken word results in a lowing of recognition accuracy. This method has the advantage of curtailment of recognition time in the recognition stage because it can reduce the number of frames constructing a word compared with length normalization by a fixed frame size. In this paper, variable frame length normalization is applied to multisection vector quantization and the efficiency of this method is estimated in the view of recognition time and accuracy through practical recognition experiments.

  • PID control systems are significantly utilized in industrial fields because of its multiple advantages. Many researches about more effective PID controllers to enhance control system performances have been addressed so far. This paper proposes a novel PI-PD control system with a pre-compensator which is configured with a pre-compensator and PD controller in PIcontrol system. The normal method is applied to the proposed control system for obtaining a simple first-order controller from cancelation of poles and zeros. We design a pre-compensator and PD controller by using parameters of PI controller and the transfer function of a plant. Computer simulation is carried out to demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed control system.

Development of Method for Deriving The Crisis Index of Industrial Complex (산업단지 위기지수 도출을 위한 방법론 개발)

  • Due to the problems associated with the aging of industrial complexes, research on the decline of industrial complexes is being conducted. In the case of decline, it is necessary to not respond immediately, but with a crisis, it is necessary to minimize the impact on the industrial complex through preemptive responses to the external environment and internal changes. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a crisis index that can systematically predict and evaluate changes in the industrial complex. In this research, a method for extracting the crisis index of an industrial complex is developed. We derive performance measures for developing the crisis index, deriving the relative importance of performance measures based on the analytical hierarchy process. Because units of performance measurement are different, a normalization method is developed to sensitively reflect change. Based on the relative importance and normalized values of the performance measures, the crisis index of the industrial complex is developed and applied to a national industrial complex in order to verify its applicability.

Quantitative Evaluation Indicators for the City Bus Route Network (시내버스노선체계 평가를 위한 정량적 지표의 설정 및 적용)

  • A balanced evaluation system for a bus route network was proposed for a mid-sized suburban city. The evaluation system consists of 7 criteria-accessibility, riding comfort. transfer rate, directness of route, productivity of operation, regional equity, and minimum requirement of bus fleet - and quantitative indicators representing each of the criteria. The proposed system was applied in Siheung, a suburban city in Seoul Metropolitan Area. Four alternative scenarios of bus route network including the existing one were evaluated. The results showed that the suggested criteria and indicators are acceptable for the evaluation of a bus route network. In order to enhance the proposed evaluation procedure, further studies on the normalization of produced values and weights for each of the indicators are needed.
