AIS는 데이터 송수신을 위하여 2개의 채널을 사용하고 있으며, 채널 당 2,250개의 시간 슬롯으로 분할하여 사용하는 시분할 다중화 방식을 적용하고 있다. 특히 AIS에서 주로 사용하고 있는 SOTDMA 프로토콜은 데이터를 전송하기 위한 시간 슬롯을 예약하고 예약된 슬롯 정보를 공유함으로써 슬롯 간섭을 피하고 있기 때문에 슬롯의 사용 상태는 매우 중요하다. 여기에서는 해발고가 높은 우리나라 주요 AIS 기지국의 슬롯 점유율과 슬롯 점유율에 영향을 미치는 수신 메시지 비율 및 통신 거리 분포 등에 대하여 분석하였다.

ALINEA algorithm, which is one of the best on-ramp metering algorithms, was designed to control the traffic volume from on-ramp in order to maintain the optimal occupancy rate of the detectors installed downstream of the merge area. But, the reliability of occupancy rate estimated from the loop detectors, which are used most commonly in Korea, is relatively lower than other parameters such as speed and volume. Moreover, because occupancy rate depends on the length of loop detectors and site, lots of calibration work is required whenever they are installed in order to estimate the occupancy rate. Therefore, there exists room for improvement of ALINEA algorithm because only occupancy rate having some problems is considered as a control parameter in ALINEA algorithm. Practically it is difficult to measure or perceive the occupancy rate for traffic engineers and drivers. On the other hand, speed can be good alternative which can overcome the defect induced by using occupancy. In this study, occupancy based ALINEA algorithm is converted to speed based ALINEA assuming the linear relationship between density and speed.

The purpose of this article is to present the application of Least Squares Support Vector Machine in analyzing the existing structure of brand. We estimate the parameters of the Market Share Attraction Model using a non-parametric technique for function estimation called Least Squares Support Vector Machine, which allows us to perform even nonlinear regression by constructing a linear regression function in a high dimensional feature space. Estimation by Least Squares Support Vector Machine technique makes it a good candidate for solving the Market Share Attraction Model. To illustrate the performance of the proposed method, we use the car sales data in South Korea's car market.

The companion animal related businesses are rapidly growing as the pet population increases in Korea. In this study, we analyzed the market trends of companion animal food and products to offer basic information that can be used in related policies and industries. The data were collected using Nielsen Korea's wholesale/retail distribution channels. As a result, in the case of companion dog food, PB products of domestic companies showed the highest market share with 24.6%, and the ratio of domestic companies(54.8%) was higher than that of import companies(45.2%). Domestic PB products also had the highest market share(16.5%) in companion cat food, however, the ratio of import companies(71.6%) was higher than that of domestic companies(28.4%). In the case of the market share of the companion animal products(toys, oral and bath supplies), Nosework mats from domestic companies were top ranked in the toy category(28.0%). Oral products(62.5%) and bath products(59.5%) from domestic companies were also having a higher market share than import companies. Our research may help domestic companion animal product companies to steadily increase market share and the amount of their export.

리눅스 기반 안드로이드 단말에서는 CFS(Completely Fair scheduler)가 사용되고 있다. 그리고 CFS는 태스크의 nice값 조절을 통해서 응용프로그램의 CPU 점유율을 제어할 수 있다. 하지만 안드로이드를 업그레이드할 때마다 수많은 태스크의 nice값을 적절하게 맞추는 일은 매우 어려운 일이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 안드로이드 단말은 리눅스의 cgroup(control group)을 사용하여 태스크들을 그룹으로 나눈다. 고성능과 빠른 응답 특성이 필요한 태스크들을 apps 그룹에 할당하여 높은 CPU 점유율을 보장하고, 그렇지 않은 태스크들을 background 그룹에 할당한다. 하지만 안드로이드의 버전이 업그레이드 되면서 각 그룹에 속한 태스크들에도 변화가 생긴다. 그 결과 동일하게 제작된 태스크들의 CPU 점유율이 달라지게 되고 예기치 못한 성능 저하가 발생할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 안드로이드 버전 향상에 따라 동종 태스크들이 이전 버전에서보다 성능이 하락하는 현상의 원인을 파악하였다. 아울러 분석과 실험을 통하여 태스크의 nice 값보다 그룹 스케줄링 메커니즘이 어떻게 태스크의 CPU 점유율을 결정 짓는지 규명하였다.

In this study, the relationship between movie ticket reservation rates and Internet buzz share is analyzed. The correlations between movie ticket reservation rates and Internet buzz share in blogs, Internet cafes, news site, and Internet video in NAVER which is a representative Internet portal in Korea are analyzed empirically. The results show that there are positive correlations between buzz shares and movie ticket reservation rates. In particular, before movies at the box office, the correlations with Internet video is relatively higher than those of other channels, and after movies at the box office, the correlations with blogs and Internet cafe are relatively higher. Also, we can find that the correlations between Internet buzz shares on movies and movie ticket reservation rates are different depending on time lags and Internet channels.

본 논문에서는 UWB/TH(Ultra Wideband/Time Hopping：이하 Impulse Radio) 시스템을 의사 잡음 부호 발생기에 의해 생성된 시간 도약 패턴을 사용하여 시간 영역에서 다인 접속 간섭이 배제되는 경우에 대해 동일 주파수 대역을 사용하는 기존 시스템에 의한 간섭 발생시 IR 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 간섭 점유율이 0.1 이하인 경우는 5GHz 대역에서 ISM 대역의 80MHz 대역폭이나 802.11a의 사용대역폭 20MHZ와 같은 IR(Impulse Radio) 시스템에 비해 매우 협소한 대역을 사용하는 경우로써 향후 5-10GHz 대역에서 공유되는 IR 시스템에서 간섭으로 영향을 미칠 경우를 상정하여 분석하였다. 결과에 의하면, IR 전체 대역폭에서 간섭 점유율이 클수록 시스템 성능이 크게 열화되고 부분대역 간섭 자체가 시스템 성능을 크게 열화 시킴을 알 수 있었다. SIR 30dB 이하에서 간섭 점유율이 0.1 이상 일 때는 SIR이 증가할수록 성능 향상폭이 커지지만 점유율이 0.1 이하에서는 l$\times$10­$^1$1이하의 성능개선이 이루어지고 30dB 이상에서는 일정 성능을 유지함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 간섭 전력의 증가면에서는 간섭 점유율이 적을수록 거의 영향이 미치지 않았다. 따라서, IR시스템에서는 간섭의 전력면 보다는 간섭의 점유 대역폭에 따라서 성능 열화가 크게 나타남을 알 수 있었다.

With advancements of quay side handling equipment and technologies, congestion in terminal operation has moved to the storage yard side from the quay side. The importance of storage yard management has increased in overall terminal operation. Thus, many studies have been conducted to optimize the storage yard management of container terminals. However, there is no academic work to estimate the change of storage yard occupancy ratio by itself in the future. This paper examines the probability of storage yard occupancy ratio in the container terminal of Busan New port using the Markov chain analysis which explains probability change with passing time. The result shows that it is most likely to have the probability of maintaining a high level of storage yard occupancy ratio in the container terminal of Busan New Port.

국내 조명시장 규모는 2009년 현재 약 3조 9,600억원(CAGR 5%, 세계시장 점유율 : 2.1%)으로 아시아권에서는 중국(CAGR 8.1% 세계시장 점유율 12.1%)에 이어 두 번째 시장점유율을 차지하면서 꾸준하게 성장하고 있다. 특히 LED조명시장의 경우 앞으로 LED조명 제품의 브랜드 가치와 특화된 기술력 등이 시장에 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 보여져 효율 향상 가격 하략 이외에 고품격 디자인과 제품의 기능성 등도 중요한 시장전망의 지표로 작용할 것으로 보인다.

현재 고속도로 교통관리시스템(FTMS)에 사용되고 있는 차량 검지기는 주로 루프 식 검지기가 이용되고 있으나, 유지관리에 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제 점을 갖고 있는 루프 검지기를 대체하기 위한 대체 검지기를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 자기 검지기 신뢰도 평가는 현장 실험으로 이루어지며 비디오 촬영 및 루프 검지기, test car를 이용하여 교통량·속도·점유율의 기준자료를 마련하고 자기 검지기 자료와 비교·분석 및 통계적 검정을 실시하였다. 1차 실험과 2차 실험의 결과, 교통량과 속도는 실측자료와 유사했으나 점유율은 실측치와 다소 차이가 발생함을 보였다. 향후 점유율에 대한 보정이 이루어진다면 현재 사용중인 루프 검지기를 대체할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
