Utilization of Space based Digital Information for Land Information around the Acreage of a Lot (필지 중심 토지정보화를 위한 공간기반 수치정보의 활용방안)

  • It is necessary to arrange and analyze the collected research date to get regularity such as characteristics, merits and demerits, and possibility in city when constructing land information by analyzing linkage and utilization of cadastral information as the fundamental data for land information around the acreage of a lot and by expressing the purpose of each digital data construction with map. In short, that is the work to classify data, to make chart or map, or to analyze using statistical technique. Some information in land utilization had been used by computerization, but several problems were found in common use of total divisions. The most important problem is, in the case of drawing information, that topographical map with building boundary and land registration map with acreage boundary cannot be used together. In the case of property information, common utilization of property information that is basically needed and standard measurement of usage classification are necessary. The characteristics of the land usage data by the rearrangement of the cadastral information. etc. is presented as the basic data for the land information orientation, and the analyzing result of the data should be expressed and controlled on the map as the fundamental survey for the establishment of the land information oriented planning supports the physical space planning of the land cadaster finally. In this research, the problem in establishing current land information around acreage of a lot was found to research data to be needed in land information for utilizationof space based digital information, and was studied the method in relation to GIS.

Assessment & Implication on Ex-post Free Trade Agreements with respect to the Korean Agricultural Sector (기 체결 FTA 농업부문 사후영향평가와 시사점)

  • This study analyzed the impact of the implementation of 14 FTAs on the domestic agricultural sector through aneconomic post-impact assessment using the dynamic analysis method. As a result of the implementation of the FTAs, agricultural production decreased significantly, mainly in the livestock and fruit sectors. Most of the previous studieswere limited to the post-impact assessment of individual FTAs, which does not reflect the fact that the implementation of a number of FTAs results ina combinationof trade creation, trade transitions, and FTA accumulation effects. Therefore, this study provides amore objective and comprehensive evaluation of the effects of FTAs in the agricultural sector, and contributes to some extent to the evaluation of the policy directions necessary for revising and supplementing the domestic measures needed to supplement the FTAs. Of course, a more sophisticated analysis is needed to separate the impact of these complementary domestic measures and the performance of the general agricultural project.

Species of Korean Furniture in the Late Choseon Dynasty (I)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the species of 82 furniture in the late Choseon Dynasty (mainly, 19th century), which are housed in the Seoul Museum of History. Total of 22 species were found. The species shared 43% as hard pine(Diploxylon), 9% as Zelkova serrata Makino, 7% as Paulownia spp., 7% as Tilia spp., 6% as soft pine(Haploxylon), 5% as Ginkgo biloba Linn., 4% as Cedrela sinensis A. Juss., 3% as Diospyros spp., 3% as Abies spp., 2% as Alnus spp., 2% as Picea spp., 1% as bamboo, 1% as Populus spp., 1% as Betula spp., 1% as Juglans spp. The other minor ones were Torreya nucifera Sieb. et Zucc., Pyrus spp., Castanea spp., Ulmus spp. and Kalopanax oictuse (Thunb.) Nakai. Thirty seven furniture (45% in total) was made of single species, 19 (23%) of two species, 16 (20%) of three species and 10(12%) of 4 to 6 species. For frames and panels, hard and strong woods, such as hard pines, Zelkova and Cedrela, were used. For drawer, however, light woods having low shrinkage, such as Paulownia and Tilia, were used. The origin of woods could be specified by the habitats of the species identified. Both Hwanghaedo- and Parkcheon- Chests used basswood (Tilia), which grow in the cold regions, indicating the origin of woods as North Korea.

Verification of the HACCP System in School Foodservice Operations - Focus on the Microbiological Quality of Foods in Non-Heating Process - (학교급식소의 HACCP 시스템 적합성 검증(II) -비가열조리 공정을 중심으로-)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate microbiological Quality of HACCP application in elementary school foodservice operations. Microbiological Quality of utensils and non-heated foods such as salad was measured two times at five elementary schools in Daegu. The two experimentations differed in that after the first experimentation employees were educated and trained on HACCP based sanitation standards with a goal of improving microbiological Quality of foodservice. Microbiological Quality, time, and temperature were evaluated at three critical control points (CCPs): washing and disinfecting, personal hygiene and non-cross contamination. Micro-biological Quality was assessed using 3M petrifilm to measure total plate count and coliform group. The first experimentation showed low microbiological Quality due to cross contamination of utensils and cooking gloves; high microbiological count of the garlic, powdered red pepper, and ginger; and not thoroughly washing and disinfecting vegetables. In the second experimentation, microbiological Quality was greatly improved by washing and thoroughly disinfecting raw ingredients and utensils, and using good personal hygiene. However, microbiological Quality of seasonings was still low. Immediate corrective actions were required in one of the foodservice operations that was assessed. These results strongly suggest that foodservice operations should address non-heated food Quality. It is essential to measure microbiological Quality regularly and continually train and retrain employees on hand washing and disinfecting raw ingredients. Further studies are needed to determine whether pathogens are present in raw vegetables and seasonings.

The Product Color Effect on Product Color Preference, Product Image and Product Attitude (제품의 색채가 제품의 색채선호도, 이미지, 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • A company's plan to reform its products' image cannot obtain expected results unless a color plan is included in the reformation plan. A color plan is essential since color conveys to customers much information on function, shape, and material quality of the product. In other words, color is the essential dimension or criteria that customers use when evaluating the quality of goods. Despite the importance of a color plan, companies in Korea are still behind in researching and receiving 'color information' compared to those in more advanced countries. Recognizing the importance of products color, many international companies constantly make their efforts to predict trendy colors and preferred styles of customers before they develop products. It is suggested that domestic companies invest more in color infrastructure to be more successful in making products which can catch the customers' eyes and emotion. Different life styles by age, income level, and gender would be only a few of many factors to be investigated to build color plans for a product. In this study, it is attempted to see the color tendency of young generation by gender, and also to analyze empirically the influence of product's color on its image and customers' behavior. The results are analyzed with frequency analysis, cross tabulation analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA using SPSS Win 12. The results of this study show that color preference, product image and product attitude are influenced by product's color, and color is an important factor for forming additional emotional value together with the product's original functional value. Judging from the findings, it is recommended that a company undertake careful research before developing a product to find out how customers respond differently to products in different colors especially when the product belongs to the product category where color is considered to be a determinant factor in terms of choosing a brand.

Effects of Self Esteem, Impulsive Behavior and Mental Health on Cellular Phone Addiction of Adolescents (청소년의 자아존중감, 충동성 및 정신건강이 휴대전화 중독에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was done to investigate the relationship between self esteem, impulsive behavior and mental health among adolescents who were cellular phone addiction and those who were not. Methods: The data were collected using questionnaire from the sample of 239 middle school students. The data were collected from April 8 to 19, 2013. Data were analyzed using frequencies, means, ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and logistic regression analysis with SPSS 20.0. Results: Firstly, Significant differences were found for grade, sex, period, buying motives, the number of the messages/day, use, phone bill, callers between students who were cellular phone addiction and those who were not. Secondly, Self esteem for the cellular phone addiction were lower than for those in the non-addiction group, and impulsive behavior and mental health were higher. Thirdly, The logistic regression analysis revealed that self esteem, non-planning impulsiveness, mental health total, grade, sex, period, and the number of the messages/day significantly associated with being a cellular phone addiction. Conclusions: The result of this study offer basic data for the development of intervention programs to prevent adolescents cellular phone addiction.

Effects of IT-related Household Demand Characteristics on DTV Adoption: An Empirical Analysis Using Micro Data (가구의 정보통신수용도가 DTV 구매에 미치는 영향 micro data를 이용한 실증연구)

  • This paper empirically analyzes determinants of DTV (Digital Television) adoption in household survey data with IT-related household demand characteristics. To this purpose, we conducted a survey for the adoption of DTV to 1,000 households nationwide. In the questionnaire, various questions asking socio-economics characteristics such as age, education, income were included. Also, status of adoption and usage of IT services such as paid broadcasting, internet, and DVD were asked. To analyze the determinants of intention of purchasing, decision of purchasing, and the timing of purchasing DTV, we adopted the ordered logit, binary logit and multinomial legit models. When there is an order among groups, ordered logit was employed and when there is no orders among groups, multinomial logit was emplyed for the estimation. It is found that when conditions of other explanatory variable are constant, the more educated household heads are, the more probable they become early adopters of DTV. It is also found that other conditions being constant, the income level of households and IT-related household demand characteristics are very important factors affecting DTV adoption. Since the likelihood of purchasing DTV is much higher for those who know the government policy of analog broadcasting termination schedule than others who do not know, dissemination of the Korean government's digital broadcasting policy will affect significantly the adoption of DTV. And policy with various incentives ought to be employed to accelerate DTV adoption, because households with the older TV sets are more likely to purchase DTV. It is suggested that the Korean government should develop policy to connect both DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite) and DTV since DBS subscribers are more likely to be an early adopter than non-subscribers.

Scientific Analysis of Bronze Materials of Sanoisa Temple in Chongju(I) (청주(淸州) 사뇌사지(思惱寺地) 청동기(靑銅器)의 과학(科學) 분석(分析)(I))

  • This study is a scientific analysis of 12 bronze materials which were excavated from Sanoisa temple in Chongju. Analysis of crystalline shape, size and distribution of the each sample metal suggested that they can be classified as tableware(wrought), vessels for memorial service(casting) and bell bronze, which is the same result as classification based on elemental composition. Most of the tableware are forging wares with composition of 8:2:0 in Cu:Sn:Pb, and vessels for memorial service are casting wares whose composition is 7:1:2 in Cu:Sn:Pb, and bell bronze's composition is Cu:Sn:Pb = 85:10:5/9:1:0. The result clearly shows that composition is closely related with usage and manufacturing method of wares. Trace elements such as Co, Fe and As are the elements with high correlation coefficient with Cu, which means they exist as impurities in Cu, and the content of As showed an increase in the order of tableware, memorial service vessels and bell bronze. In addition, the analysis of lead isotope ratio showed that 3 bronze materials with high lead content were made from the lead coming from Japan and China. The composition of the solder was Cu:Sn:Pb = 83:12:5 where small Pb crystals were distributed evenly.

Investigation of Prospective High School Students' and Science Teachers' Views on 'Advanced Material' (예비 고등학생들과 고등학교 과학 교사들의 '신소재'에 대한 인식 탐색)

  • Prospective high school students and science teachers' perceptions of 'advanced material', which was first introduced in the science textbooks of the 2009 revised curriculum, were surveyed. One thousand four hundred and ninety nine students and 123 teachers from Seoul, Incheon, and the Kyeonggi areas participated in this survey. The results are as follows. First, the attitude of students and teachers towards 'advanced material' was positive, but their interests in 'advanced material' was low. Also, some teachers mentioned that 'advanced material' was one of the difficult subjects to teach. Second, the perception of 'advanced material' was relatively low for both students and teachers. Both of them had heard of 'advanced material' through various routes, however not many of them thought that they knew what 'advanced material' was exactly. Also there were some teachers who didn't understand the detailed information of 'advanced material'. Third, both students and teachers agreed that 'advanced material' was worthwhile to learn and teach. However, each party had their own desire of 'what to learn', 'what to teach', 'how to learn' and 'how to teach'. Based on the results, some suggestions were made for effective teaching of this new subject.

SCI에 등재된 과학기술 논문 발표 현황

  • 고도의 정보사회가 될 것으로 예견되는 21세기 전 세계는 창의적이고 원천적인 과학기술을 지속적으로 창출하면서 선진적 우위확보를 위해 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있다. 우리나라도 지금까지 이룩한 경제성장을 발판으로 이제부터는 더욱 생산적이고 독창적인 세계 일류 지식과 과학기술을 창출해 내야 할 위치에 있다. 세계적으로 새로운 지식은 대부분 학술지와 도서를 통해 발표되고 있으며, 미국의 과학정보기구인 ISI(Institute for Scientific Information)는 세계의 우수 학술지를 평가하여 그 중에서 가장 영향력이 높은 3~4%의 학술지를 SCI(Science Citation Index), SSIC(Social Science Citation Index), AHCI(Arts and Humanities Citation Index)로 전별하여 발표하고 있음은 잘 알려진 바와 같다. 우리 학계에서도 수 년 전부터 연구업적 등의 평가에 이들 분류를 적극 활용하고 있으며, 개개의 연구자들도 연구성과를 SCI 등에 등재된 학술지에 발표하기 위한 노력을 배가하고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 안타까운 것은 우리나라에서 발간되는 학술지 중 과학기술 분야 단 5종만이 SCI에 등재되어 있을 뿐이어서 우리의 학문이 세계적으로 교류되고 인정받는데 상대적으로 불리한 위치에 있다는 사실이다. 국내 학술지가 이들Index에 등재될 경우 우리의 연구성과가 보다 빠르고 쉽게 국제적으로 소개.인정되며, 이는 우리의 과학기술 수준을 한 단계 높이는데 첩경이 될 것이라는 점은 의심의 여지가 없다. 과학기술 평가과정은 측정 가능한 연구투자와 연구결과 현상으로 간주할 수 있는데, 일반적으로 연구투자는 연구투자에 필요한 모든 요소들이 실체적이며 평가하는 데에 있어서 인력, 재정 자원, 장비, 재료, 건물 등과 같이 구체적이고 경험을 요구하지 않기 때문에 그 모든 연구결과보다 평가하기가 용이하나 과학기술의 연구결과는 연구 과정을 통해 보다 비실체적이고 양적으로 측정하기 어려운 지식으로 구성되어 있어 평가하는데 어려움이 뒤따른다. 과학기술 연구결과를 양적이나 질적으로 측정하는데 있어 일반적으로 이용되는 시스템은 없으나 국가의 과학기술 수준은 보통 그 나라 과학기술 활동의 연구결과를 과학기술 생산성이나 연구결과물 즉 논문 등의 출판을 통한 배포나 인용분석 등에 기초한 양적 평가지표를 이용해 측정하는 서지적 방법에 의해 평가되고 있다.연구활동 결과로 발표된 연구논문은 새로운 연구논문의 자료로 인용되게 되는데, 일반적으로 인용이 많이 된 논문일수록 질적인 가치가 높다고 하므로 논문의 발표량과 인용된 횟수는 연구활동을 평가하는 척도로 활용점에 따라 과학기술분야 논문의 국가별, 기관별, 분야별 논문수와 피인용도는 과학기술 수준 평가의 척도가 될 수 있으며 이러한 평가는 과학기술 정책 수립 및 투자, 연구활동에 대한 평가 등의 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있다. 과학기술분야 전반에 걸친 SCI 기반의 NSI, NCR 데이터베이스를 분석하여 우리나라 과학기술분야의 수준을 평가할 수 있는 지표를 산출하여 우리나라의 과학기술 수준을 정확히 파악하고, 세계 추세를 분석하여 앞으로 나아갈 정책방향을 설정하는데 도움이 되도록 하며, 국내 기관별, 분야별 분석을 통하여 과학기술 수준을 평가할 수 있는 객관적인 자료를 제공함과 동시에 국내 연구 인력간의 건전한 경쟁을 유도하여 과학기술 발전에 기여하고자 한다.
