Impact of Interpersonal Problems and Body Dissatisfaction on Suicidal Idea of Young Adults (젊은 성인에서 대인관계문제 및 신체불만족이 자살사고에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective : The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between interpersonal problems, body dissatisfaction, and suicidal idea. Methods : Two hundred ninety-four participants filled out the self-reporting questionnaires : Body dissatisfaction was measured with Body Dysmorphic Disorder Examination-Self Report (BDDE-SR) ; Interpersonal problems was measured with Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problem (KIIP) ; Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire (SIQ) was used to assess suicidal idea. A path analysis was conducted to identify the impact of interpersonal problems and body dissatisfaction on the suicidal ideas. Results : 'Socially inhibited (KIIP_C4)', 'overly-accommodating (KIIP_C6)', age, and gender had a direct effect on their body dissatisfaction, and those factors had a indirect effect on the suicidal ideas. Also, 'cold (KIIP_C3)' and body dissatisfaction had a direct effect on the suicidal ideas. Conclusions : These findings can help to identify how interpersonal problems and body dissatisfaction influence the suicidal ideas of people. It would be useful to consider and assess suicidal ideas in the patients with 'cold (KIIP_C3)', 'socially inhibited (KIIP_C4)', 'overly-accommodating (KIIP_C6)'.

  • 1990년대말, 한국은 북미 ATSC 방송표준을 사용하여, 세계최초 HD Digital TV 방송시대를 시작하였고, 이동방송을 위해서는 DMB를 이용한 모바일 방송을 상용화하여, 이는 디지털 방송미디어 산업의 발전과 함께 글로벌 기술 경쟁력을 만드는 계기가 되었다. 이후, 20여년이 지난 최근, 한국은 북미 최신 방송표준기술인 ATSC3.0을 세계 최초로 국내에 상용화하여 4K UHD 지상파 방송시대를 여는 성과를 또다시 이루었다. 하지만, 그동안 통신기술의 눈부신 발달로 고해상도 몰입형 컨텐츠의 IP 스트리밍 서비스가 대중화되었고, 이에 따른 젊은 소비자들을 중심으로 미디어 소비 성향 변화가 확산되어, 이제는 새로운 형태의 미래 융합 방송미디어 서비스를 위한 기술과 정책이 요구되고 있다. 이에, 정부는 관련 산학연 전문가들과 2027년 ATSC3.0 UHD로의 모든 전환 정책을 위해서 다양한 요구사항을 고려한, 미래형 모바일 방송을 포함한 UHD 활성화 방안을 논의하고 있다. 미래형 모바일 방송은 스마트폰뿐만 아니라, 자동차와 사이니지, 홈 TV에서도 서비스 영역이 확장되어야 하며, IP와 연동하여 인터렉티브 양방향 서비스가 가능하여야 하고, 오디오, 비디오 엔터테인먼트뿐만 아니라 인터넷 데이터와 공공, 관심 정보의 데이터 캐스팅 서비스까지 가능하여야 한다. 본 고에서는 미래형 모바일 방송을 위하여, 현재 상용 서비스가 가능한 최신의 방송과 통신기술인 ATSC3.0과 5G를 통한 방송의 서비스와 기술에 대하여 살펴보고, 이들의 미래융합 서비스의 가능성에 대하여 생각해 보는 기회를 삼고자 한다. 본 고의 구성은 서론에서는 방송미디어의 서비스 트렌드를 분석하여 모바일 방송의 복합적 요구사항을 도출해 보고, 본론에서는 현재, 한국의 지상파 UHD 방송표준 기술인 ATSC3.0의 이동방송으로서의 특성을 살펴보고, DMB 기술과 비교해 본다. 또한, 전세계적으로 관심과 실험이 시작되고 있는 5G 방송에 대해서도 그 내용과 동향을 살펴보았다. 그리고, 결론으로는 미래의 융합서비스에 대한 예측과 연구사항에 대하여 생각해 본다.

Study on Sound Quality Improvement in Bluetooth Headset (블루투스 헤드셋에서의 음질 향상에 관한 연구 - 개인 청각손실 방지측면 고려 -)

  • Todays, many young people suffer from noise-induced hearing loss by using wearable hearing devices, such as Bluetooth headset. This paper present hearing loss reduction and more natural volumn control algorithms considering individual hearing characteristics and threshold of feeling for Bluetooth headset. Experimental results using CSR Bluetooth headset example design board(DEV-PC-1645) show that individuals maybe able to perceive without the inconvenience at the less sound intensity and the more sensitive frequency bands. As a result, we may prevent hearing loss to reduce excessive sound energy in each frequency bands.

  • Mammary tuberculosis is a rare entity. The incidence of the disease varies from 0.025% to 4.5% of all surgically treated breast diseases. The surgical resection is required for diagnosis of mammary tuberculosis, since the clinician may confuse tuberculosis mastitis with either carcinoma or breast abscess. Treatment is the combination of resection and chemotherapy. We report a case of mammary tuberculosis diagnosed by fine-needle aspiration and biopsy(FNAB), along with a review of literature.

U-헬스케어를 위한 IEEE 11073 기반 원격 생체정보 모니터링 보안 기술

  • 전 세계적으로 노령인구가 급격히 증가하면서 만성질환자도 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 또한, 고도화된 현대사회와 과도한 업무, 서양화된 식습관, 그리고 운동부족은 젊은 층에서의 성인병 및 만성질환 증가를 부추기고 있다. 만성질환의 증가는 의료비 증가로 이어지고 결국은 국가재정 부담으로 돌아가게 된다. 만성질환자의 대부분은 지속적인 생체정보 측정과 이를 통한 관리가 필수적인데 매번 병원을 방문해 관리하는 것은 현실적으로나 비용적인 측면으로나 무리가 있는 것이 사실이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고 언제 어디서나 시간과 공간에 구애받지 않고 생체정보를 원격에서 측정하고 관리 받을 수 있도록 하는 것이 U-헬스케어 서비스이다. U-헬스케어 서비스는 전통적인 의료 서비스에 정보통신 기술을 접목한 형태로 고령인구 및 만성질환자의 지속적인 관리를 위해 현재 주목 받고 있는 기술이다. U-헬스케어 서비스의 가장 중요하면서도 기본적인 요소는 원격지 사용자의 생체정보를 측정하고 수집할 수 있는 원격 생체정보 모니터링 기술이다. 이를 위해서는 다양한 종류의 생체정보 측정기기가 필요한데 장비나 시스템 간 통신 인터페이스의 상호 호환성이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 원격 생체정보 모니터링을 위한 표준 기술인 IEEE 11073 PHD를 소개하고 현재 IEEE 11073 PHD 표준에서 명시하고 있지 않은 보안 문제점과 필요 기술들을 분석하고자 한다. 또한, IEEE 11073 PHD에서 IEEE 11073-20601 표준 프로토콜을 이용한 사용자 인증 구조를 제안한다.

Effect of Hip Adductor Co-contraction on Trunk Muscle Activation during Bridge Exercise in Healthy Young Individuals (젊은 성인의 교각운동 시 고관절 내전근 동시수축이 체간근육의 활성도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : Bridge exercise has been commonly used in clinical rehabilitation settings to improve trunk control, and hip adductor muscles were a related muscle that may affect trunk muscle activation. The aim of this study was to investigate whether the co-contraction of hip adductor muscles may affect trunk muscle activation during bridge exercises. Methods : Thirty-eight healthy young subjects (19 men and 19 women) performed bridge exercises (with and without hip adduction movement). Surface electromyography (EMG) data were collected from the dominant-side internal oblique (IO), rectus abdominis (RA), multifidus (MF) and erect spine (ES) during bridge exercises to compare trunk muscles activation patterns. Result : The EMG activities of IO and RA appeared to be significantly higher during bridge exercise with hip adductor co-contraction than during bridge exercise alone (p<.01), but there were no significant differences in those of MF and ES. Furthermore, there were significant differences in the IO:RA EMG ratio during bridge exercise with hip adductor co-contraction (p<.05). Conclusion : These findings suggest that integration of hip adduction during bridge exercise may be beneficial in increasing deep muscles' activity for trunk stabilization.

The Study of Muscle Activity Change with Lower Extremity during Stair and Ramp Walking in Young Adults (젊은 성인의 계단과 경사로 오르기 동안 하지의 근활성도 변화 연구)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristics of the muscle activities during level walking and stairs ascending in young adults. Methods : Fifteen young adult were recruited this study. Muscle activity (BIOPAC System Inc., Santa Barbara, U.SA). Statistical analysis was difference between level and stair walking. Results : In stance phase, muscle activity of low extremity generally more increased during ramp ascent both young adults. In swing phase, muscle activity of low extremity generally more increased during stairs ascent in young adults. Conclusion : These results indicate that stair and ramp ascent is more difficult task than level walking in young adults. Muscle activity was more changed at ramp ascent. In the future, we suggest that studies of stair and ramp gait pattern regarding ambulatory patient with disabilities be further studied and an appropriate stairs and ramp inclination will be indicated.

  • A total of 165 housewives in Seoul area were interviewed to survey the Salted Sea Foods. The aim of this study was to investigate the perceptions and preferences of 20s~50s housewives to salted sea foods. As to the recognition of salted sea foods, shrimp salted sea foods(100%)>anchovy sauce(97%)>canary sauce(91%)answered. Necessity of the Development plan of salted sea foods as to its importance 23%, regarded salted sea foods very important, while 44.8% and 6.1% not important. The Participants considered that we need to succeed and develop salted sea foods. We need to develop new recipes to increase the usage of salted sea foods.

Severe Paraspinal Muscle Atrophy with Fatty Degeneration in a Young Adult: A Case Report (젊은 성인의 척추주위근에 발생한 지방 변성을 동반한 심한 근위축: 증례보고)

  • A 36-year-old male patient developed diffuse low back pain. His past medical history was unremarkable and had no family history of neuromuscular disease. He had no bladder and bowel problems. Creatine kinase was 172 U/L (normal < 170). Other fluid and blood chemistry tests were normal. Manual muscle test grades of extremities and sensory examination were normal. Muscle stretch reflexes were normal. Fasciculations and myotonia were not detected. Straight leg raising test was negative. There was no spinal root compression, spinal stenosis, or signal intensity change of spinal cord on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Fatty change and atrophy of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar paraspinal muscles were noted on MRI. Nerve conduction studies were normal. Electromyography showed 1+ positive sharp waves in the lumbar paraspinal muscles. Electromyography of upper and lower extremity muscles revealed no abnormal spontaneous activity. We report a rare case of severe paraspinal muscle atrophy with fatty degeneration in a Young Adult.
