Absolute Altitude Determination for 3-D Indoor and Outdoor Positioning Using Reference Station (기준국을 이용한 실내·외 절대 고도 산출 및 3D 항법)

  • The topic of this paper is the advanced absolute altitude determination for 3-D positioning using barometric altimeter and the reference station. Barometric altimeter does not provide absolute altitude because atmosphere pressure always varies over the time and geographical location. Also, since Global Navigation Satellites system such as GPS, GLONASS has geometric error, the altitude information is not available. It is the reason why we suggested the new method to improve the altitude accuracy. This paper shows 3-D positioning algorithm using absolute altitude determination method and evaluates the algorithm by real field tests. We used an accurate altitude from RTK system in Seoul as a reference data and acquired the differential value of pressure data between a reference station and a mobile station equipped in low cost barometric altimeter. In addition, the performance and advantage of the proposed method was evaluated by 3-D experiment analysis of PNS and CNS. We expect that the proposed method can expand 2-D positioning system 3-D position determination system simply and this 3-D position determination technique can be very useful for the workers in the field of fire-fighting and construction.

Performance Assessment of High-Speed Transponder System for Rail Transport on High-Speed Line (철도교통용 고속 트랜스폰더시스템 고속선 실차 성능평가)

  • It is necessary to receive telegrams transmitted by transponder tags installed along the track in order to detect the exact position of a high-speed train. In a high-speed railway environment, telegrams can be corrupted by the electromagnetic interference that comes from onboard electric train power equipment or wayside devices. In this study, we verified the railway environment compatibility of a high-speed transponder system developed as a train position detection system. We installed transponder tags on the Honam high-speed line and measured the number of error-free telegrams received from the transponder tag while the HEMU-430X was running at 268km/h~334km/h. Based on the measurement, we estimated the length of the contact zone formed between the transponder reader and tag. Field test results allow us to estimate how many error-free telegrams can be received when HEMU-430X is at speeds up to 400km/h.

  • 동진강 유역은 김제평야를 품고 있어 다른 지역에 비해 농지면적이 차지하는 비중이 크며, 이에 따라 전체 용수 사용량에서 농업용수의 비중이 절대적으로 높은 유역이다. 낙양 보는 동진강 중·상류에 위치한 이수시설로 상류에 위치한 섬진강댐과 같이 동진강 유역의 농업용수 공급에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 낙양 보는 현재 동진강 방수문 4문, 김제간선 취입수문 2문, 정읍간선 취입수문 1문이 설치되어 있다. 관개기에는 동진강 도수로의 수문을 폐쇄하여 동진강 본류로의 하천유지용수를 차단하고 김제 배수로의 수문을 운용하여 농업용수를 공급하고 있으며 수혜구역의 용수수요 변화 및 기상상황, 하천상황에 따라 탄력적으로 운영하고 있다. 이러한 가동 보 운영으로 인하여 다양한 수위-유량관계의 변동성이 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 가동 보 운영에 따른 수위-유량관계 곡선식의 변동성을 확인하기 위해 동진강 유역 낙양보 상류에 위치한 정읍시(거산교)관측소를 대상관측소로 선정하였다. 정읍시(거산교)관측소는 2012년에 개발된 수위-유량관계곡선을 2021년까지 사용하였고, 2022년 수위-유량관계곡선식 검증과 재개발을 위하여 유량측정을 실시하였다. 2012년에 개발된 수위-유량관계곡선은 검토 결과 강우에 의한 수위 상승시 보 완전 개방 상태의 측정성과를 확보하여 수위-유량관계 곡선식을 개발하였다. 그 결과 가동 보를 운영하는 3월~9월은 상류에 위치한 정읍시(행정교)관측소와 상하류 역전 현상이 발생하였고, 매년 비정상적인 유량이 산정되는 결과를 초래하였다. 2022년 신뢰도 높은 유량자료와 수위-유량관계곡선식 개발을 위해 낙양 보 완전개방 및 부분개방에 따른 다양한 유량측정성과와 낙양 보 수문 모니터링 결과를 확보하였다. 낙양 보는 2022년 1월~3월, 10월~12월은 수문 6문을 완전 개방하여 동진강에 하천유지용수를 공급하고, 4월부터 동진강 방수문을 폐쇄하여 농번기 농업용수를 확보한 후, 5월~9월에 확보된 농용수를 김제 배수문 2문을 부분개방하면서 공급하는 방식이다. 이 기간동안 낙양 보 수문에 대한 모니터링을 위해 정읍시(거산교)관측소 수위자료에 대한 검토를 실시하였으며, 유량측정시에는 정확한 유량측정성과와 곡선식 확인을 위하여 동일한 위치에서 측정을 수행하였다. 또한, 수위 또는 유량이 변하는 구간은 연속측정을 실시하였으며, 모니터링 결과와 유량측정성과를 바탕으로 수위-유량관계 변화를 분석하였다. 그 결과 저수위1식은 수문 완전개방, 저수위2식은 수문 완전폐쇄, 저수위3~6식은 수문 부분개방 곡선식을 개발하였으며, 저수위 구간은 낙양보 운영에 따라 총 27차례 기간분리가 발생하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서는 낙양 보 운영에 따른 다수의 유량측정성과와 모니터링 자료를 확보하였으며, 확보한 유량측정성과의 분석을 통한 신뢰도 높은 수위-유량관계곡선식을 개발하였고 이를 통해 생산된 유량자료는 정확도가 매우 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 최근, 실내 환경에서 위치기반 서비스 응용에 대한 수요가 늘어남에 따라 비콘, 지자기, Wi-Fi 등을 사용한 실내측위 관련 연구가 활발히 연구되고 있다. 특히, BLE 비콘을 사용한 실내측위는 시스템 설치 및 유지보수의 용의성, 낮은 소비전력, 낮은 가격 등의 특징을 가지고 있으며, 이에 다양한 상용 실내측위 응용 분야에서 조명 받고 있다. 일반적으로, BLE 비콘 기반 실내측위는 단일 BLE 비콘과 해당 비콘의 전파 범위에 위치하는 단말기 사이의 송수신 전파의 세기 정보를 이용하여 절대 거리를 계산한다. 그러나, 기존 연구 방법으로는 BLE 비콘의 종류, 설치 환경에 따른 전파 감쇄 및 반사 등의 문제로 정확한 거리를 측정할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 다중 비콘을 사용하여 각 비콘으로부터 얻은 수신세기 차이를 이용한 실내 공간 세그멘테이션 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 실험을 진행하였으며, 그 결과 임의로 설정한 $4m{\times}4m$ 정사각형 영역에서 내부와 외부를 구분할 수 있었다.

Dimensional Quality Assessment for Assembly Part of Prefabricated Steel Structures Using a Stereo Vision Sensor (스테레오 비전 센서 기반 프리팹 강구조물 조립부 형상 품질 평가)

  • This study presents a technique for assessing the dimensional quality of assembly parts in Prefabricated Steel Structures (PSS) using a stereo vision sensor. The stereo vision system captures images and point cloud data of the assembly area, followed by applying image processing algorithms such as fuzzy-based edge detection and Hough transform-based circular bolt hole detection to identify bolt hole locations. The 3D center positions of each bolt hole are determined by correlating 3D real-world position information from depth images with the extracted bolt hole positions. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is then employed to calculate coordinate axes for precise measurement of distances between bolt holes, even when the sensor and structure orientations differ. Bolt holes are sorted based on their 2D positions, and the distances between sorted bolt holes are calculated to assess the assembly part's dimensional quality. Comparison with actual drawing data confirms measurement accuracy with an absolute error of 1mm and a relative error within 4% based on median criteria.

  • We realized the national standard of the candela, one of the SI units, by using two photometers with the spectral responsivity measured in reference to the absolute cryogenic radiometer. The external apertures of the photometers were fabricated using a diamond turning machine, and measured in terms of area with uncertainty of 0.05 %(k = 1). The candela is realized using a 1 kW FEL lamp and the characterized photometers on an optical bench. The uncertainty is budgeted to be 0.25 %(k = 1) considering the uncertainty of the spectral responsivity and the response uniformity of the detectors, the area of the external apertures, the color temperature of the lamp, and the positioning reproducibility of the photometers and the lamp. We verified the realized scale by comparing with the scale of National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA. They coincided with each other within 0.1%.

  • Since 1960s. container shipping volume has increased dramatically and continuous on a trend of rapid growth, and so the number of containers handled at the port increases. In order to improve yard crane operating efficiency, the precise position measurement of the yard crane is important. This paper describes the method to measure the absolute position of yard crane using the output pulse of an encoder and infrared sensors. The crane position is calculated by counting the output pulse of an incremental encoder, which is mounted on the wheel in the crane. By the way, the wheel slippage on rail may cause some errors in crane position information obtained from encoder pulses, and the errors in the crane position information are compensated with infrared sensors. The performance of proposed method is verified on experimental results with the simulator of yard crane, the size of which is about 1/10 with the real crane.

  • RFID System has an advantage that it need not touch an objects for identification of many objects. Because it is working through wireless communication. Also, So many objects can be identified with RFID System at once. However, although RFID System has convenience like above, it has serious privacy concern at the same time. If RFID System is working with an target object through wireless communication, other objects will respond to RFID System signal as well as a target object. Hence, RFID System can be easily exposed user privacy by attacker. In this paper, We propose RFID system authentication model in order to protecting user privacy and traking. Proposed RFID system is operating that not only server authenticate RFID reader but also RFID reader and tag authenticate mutually by using symetric cryptography that operating with tiny and simple processing.

  • British acoustics in the nineteenth century is important as a foundation for modern acoustics in the history of acoustics. The Purpose and objective of acoustics was different from those in modern age. and musical motivation was distinguished among them. This study intends to clarify various aspects of interaction between music and acoustics in nineteenth-century Britain by examining related materials in both published and unpublished forms. Then music Provided acoustics with instruments, subjects, and personnel, and acoustics did much as musical science in helping to improve and develop musical scales and enhancing the exactness of measurement of absolute pitches. Music played an essential role in developing acoustics to a modern discipline in Europe, especially in Britain. all through the nineteenth century.

  • This study is the 3-D positional analysis for track of magnetically levitated vehicles to precise construction and periodical safe diagnosis by photogrammetry. In the result, we could improve the accuracy of Z as well as X, Y using the modified control points of spatial distribution to the plane distribution of the absolutly effective control points to accuracy and diagnosis the the track of magnetically levitated vehicles using the below 1㎜ accuracy. And we could analysis the 3-D precise positions and efficiently decide the geometric characteristics of the cant and gradient to the instrument.
