  • 표면성장법을 이용한 고강력, 고탄성률 섬유의 제조시, 결정화 온도에 따른 섬유 미 세구조와 물리적 성질의 상관 관계를 미세구조적, 열역학적 관점에서 규명하고자 초고분자 량 폴리에틸렌으로 섬유를 제조하고 결정화 온도에 따른 구조와 인장 성질의 변화를 용융 거동을 중심으로 관찰하였다, 일정길이하에서의 섬유의 용융인 제한 용융에서는 고분자 사 슬배좌의 구속으로 인해 사방정계-육방정계 전이가 일어났다 제한 용융 거동으로부터 라멜 라 구조와 펼쳐진 사슬 결정 부분을 분리할 수 있었으며 결정화 온도가 증가할수록 펼쳐진 사슬 결정의 양이 증가하였다. 결정화 온도가 증가할수록 쉬시-케밥구조에서 펼쳐진 사슬 구조로의 변화가 일어났으며 결정내의 결점도 줄어들었다. 결정화 온도가 증가할수록 구조 의 변화로 인해 인장 성질이 향상되었다. 인장 성질은 펼쳐진 사슬 결정의 양에 큰 영향을 받았다. 인장 강도는 펼쳐진 사릉의 양과 사슬내의 결점들에 의해 큰 영향을 받았으며 인장 탄성계수와 절단 신도는 인장 강도보다 펼쳐진 사슬의 양에 더 크게 영향 받았다.

  • Meat color, general composition and Putting force of Korean native Ogol fowls were investigated. These results were as follows. The contents of moisture and crude protein were higher in breast than in thigh. However, the contents of crude fat and fiber were higher in thigh than in breast. There were no significant differences in these contents with weeks of age. L, a, b value of Korean native Ogol fowls were showed grey by Hunter Color Solid. Cutting force of thigh was greater than that of breast. Also, cutting force of male was greater than that of female. Those cutting forces were increased as weeks of age increased.

  • 폭과 길이에 비해 상대적으로 두께가 아주 얇은 판유리 생산에 있어서 여러 가지 형태 불안정성이 문제가 되는데, 본 논문에서는 이러한 형태 불안정성 중 완성된 판유리를 용도에 따라 절단했을 때 판 유리가 뒤틀리는 현상을 다루었다. 이러한 뒤틀림 현상을 해결하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 뒤틀림의 원인이 냉각 후 판유리에 남아있는 잔류 응력이라 생각하고, 판유리 제조 공정 중 여러 가지 온도 분포와 다양한 경계 조건을 사용했을 때 잔류응력 분포 변화를 해석하고 그에 따른 뒤틀림 거동을 해석하였다. (중략)

  • Yellowtail fishes(Seriola quinqueeradiata) were submitted to the storages using ice-cooling($0^{\circ}C$), partial freezing($-3^{\circ}C$) and freezing $-20^{\circ}C$) method. Changes in the structures of muscle during storage at different temperatures were investigated. The ice-cooling and partial freezing storage caused early decomposition of glycogen granules and mitochondrial inner membrane, but it was accorded to much slower manner comparing with that of ice-cooling storage. The scars of ice crystals were appeared after three days of storage. The number and size of the crystal increased as progressing of the storage. They were circular and mostly located between fibers. When using the freezing storage, glycogen granules were mostly found from the muscle cell even after fourteen days of storage. Mitochonidral inner membrane maintained their integrity. The scars of ice crystals were also found, however, different from those of partial freezing storage. Their existing sites were random and their shapes were irregular. In many cases, they located in the fiber and had keen edges. Fibers were broken mostly at the Z-lines on fourteen days of storage. From these results, it was concluded that partial freezing storage can repress autolytic enzymic action and can reduce the physical damage from ice crystals which is caused by freezing.

Effects on Osteoclast in Periodontal Ligament Space by Denerveation of Inferior Alveolar Nerve in Young and Adult Rats (하치조 신경 절단이 치주인대공간에서 파골세포에 미치는 영향)

  • Osteoclast action is necessary for alveolar bone remodeling in orthodontic tooth movement. The nervous system has also been reported to be associated with bone remodeling. This study was aimed to investigate the changes of osteoclasts in the periodontal ligament (PDL) space after surgical resection of the inferior alveolar nerve (IAN). Experimental rats were divided into young and adult groups. A surgical resection procedure of the IAN was carried out in the left side of the mandible and a sham operation in the right side of the mandible. The number of osteoclasts on the bundle bone surface and the resorption activity of the osteoclasts were histomorphometrically measured. The changes in distribution of substance P (SP) immunoreactive (IR) nerve fiber were evaluated in the PDL and pulp. SP-IR nerve fiber was depleted in both the PDL and pulp of the IAN resection side in both groups, which confirmed the resection of IAN to be successfully conducted. The number of osteoclasts in the IAN resection side was significantly reduced in both the young and adult groups (p<0.01 and p<0.05), whereas the resorption activity of osteoclasts did not show any significant difference between the IAN resection side and the sham operation side in both groups (p>0.05 and p<0.05). The adult group showed that the number of osteoclasts reduced significantly (p<0.01) and the resorption activity didn't change in comparison with the young group (p>0.05). These results suggest that surgical resection of the IAN and aging reduce the population of the recruited osteoclasts within the PDL, but don't affect on the osteoclastic resorption activity.

Lectin Histochemistry and Morphological Changes in von Ebner's Glands in Rats after Glossopharyngeal or Hypoglossal Axotomy (혀인두신경 또는 혀밑신경을 절단한 흰쥐 미각샘의 형태학적 변화와 렉틴조직화학)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure and secretory function of the von Ebner's gland in parasympathetic or sympathetic nerve innervation. Sprague Dawley rats were sacrificed 3, 7, 10, 14, and 21 days after bilateral glossopharyngeal or hypoglossal nerve axotomy, respectively. The circumvallate papilla portion of the tongue was dissected and we observed morphological changes in the von Ebner's gland. The properties of glycoconjugate in the von Ebner's gland were investigated using nine biotinylated lectins (PSA, UEA I, GSL I $B_4$, ECL, DBA, SBA, HPA, SJA, or sWGA). Compared with the control group, cytoplasmic vacuoles appeared in the serous acini of the von Ebner's gland in the 3-day group, and the serous acini were significantly vacuolized and degenerated in the 10-day group after glossopharyngeal nerve axotomy. However, the structure of the von Ebner's gland did not change after hypoglossal nerve axotomy. In the control group, the von Ebner's glands secreted glycoconjugates containing ${\alpha}$-D-galactose, N-acetyl-D-galactosamine, and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine oligomer, and the amount of the secretion decreased significantly in the 10-day group after glossopharyngeal nerve axotomy. However, the amount of the glycoconjugate secretion did not change after hypoglossal nerve axotomy. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that the glossopharyngeal nerve containing parasympathetic nerve fibers is important for maintaining the structure of and secretory function in the von Ebner's gland in rats.

Cut-off Grinding Characteristics of the Carbon Fiber Epoxy Composite Materials (탄소 섬유 에폭시 복합재료의 절단 연삭 특성)

  • Although the net-shape molding of composites is generally recommended, molded composites are frequently required cutting or grinding due to the dimensional inaccuracy for precision machine elements . During the composite machining operations such as cutting and grinding, the temperature at the cutting point may increase beyond the allowed limit due to the low thermal conductivity of composites, which might degrade the matrix of composite. Therefore, in this work, the temperature at the cutting point during cut-off grinding of carbon fiber epoxy composites was measured. The cutting force and surface roughness were also measured to investigate the cut-off grinding characteristics of the composites. The experiments were performed both under dry and wet grinding conditions with respect to cutting speed and feed rate. From the experimental investigation, the optimal conditions for the composite cut-off grinding were suggested.

  • 신발 및 피혁 제품의 분쇄는 섬유의 길이와 물리적인 특성을 고려하여 3${\sim}$4mm 정도의 섬유 길이로 절단되는 Niagara beater가 우수하였고, 섬유간 접착력을 부여하는 Binder 물질로는 NR latex와 EVA emulsion이 인장, 인열강도가 우수하여 NR latex와 EVA emulsion이 7:3의 비율로 혼합하여 사용하는 것이 가장 좋은 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 코팅 처리된 신발 재단 폐기물의 경우 Niagara beater에 Alcalase를 투입하는 것이 분쇄시간의 단축에 유리한 경향을 나타내었고, 건조 공정은 90$^{\circ}C$이하로 유지하는 것이 $^{\triangle}$E값의 변화가 거의 없었고 100$^{\circ}C$에서는 $^{\triangle}$E값이 7.55를 나타내어 황변이 발생하였다.

Rheological Properties of polypropylene Containing Sodium Alkylbenzenesulfonate and the elution Property of the Ingredient (알킬벤젠술폰산나트륨을 함유하는 폴리프로필렌의 유변학적 성질 및 함유물의 용출 성분)

  • Sodium octylbenzenesulfonate(SOBS)와 sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate(SDBS)를 폴리프로필렌(PP) 용융액에 각각 균일하게 서로 다른 함량으로 섞어 넣은 후에 용융압착법 으로 PP 필름을 제조하였다. 저장 점성도(η') 저장탄성률(G') 및 손실 탄성률(G")을 진 동식 레오미터를 사용하여 170~195$^{\circ}C$에서 측정하였다. 실험온도 범위내에서 첨가제를 함유 한 PP와 순PPrks에 Cole-Cole 플롯(G'에 대한 G"의 log-log 플롯)에는 차이가 없었다. 그러나 광범위한 전단속도에서 SOBS의 첨가량이 8%를 넘어서면서 η'과 G'은 증가하였 다. 이러한 현상은 PP 중에서의 첨가제의 응집효과로 설명되었으며 이것은 SOBS와 SDBS 를 함유하는 PP 필름의 시차 주사열량법 및 주사전자 현미경 관찰결과로 확인되었다. SDBS를 8% 미만 함유하는 PP로부터 섬유의 용융방사가 가능하였으나 SDBS3% 이상 함 유PP 방사섬유는 연신 과정중에 섬유의 절단이 이따금 일어났다. PP 기질내에 있어서의 SDBS의 뜨거운 물에대한 견뢰성을 SDBS와 C. I. Basic blue 41사이의 이온결합 형성 거동 에 바탕을 두어 가시분광법에 의하여 검토하였다.
