Study and Adaptation of FM CP-Ring Antenna Radiation Pattern Transmission Facility (철탑의 반사 효과에 따른 FM CP-Ring 안테나의 방사 패턴 고찰 및 현장 적용 방안)

  • In this paper, we investigate the radio wave radiation pattern to measure the actual field strength for the transmission antenna dipole antenna and the CP-ring antenna being used in our country as FM station, and the comparison was for field application. Compare results, If the transmitting station and the relay station which is located in the middle of a service area has been a useful CP-dipole antenna (four directions). CP-ring antenna having a directivity because the reflection effect of the tower was able to adjust the orientation to prevent the spread of menstrual another service area in the main direction was able to radiate high propagation 5~9dB. Especially, If the transmitting station and the relay station is located on one side of the service area for radiating radio waves in three directions by using the CP-ring antennas focus the orientation of the antenna in populated areas and road area can improve the broadcast reception environment.

  • In this paper, we provide data of wireless environment in indoor for Bluetooth and wireless LAN systems. To accurately measure transmission characteristic for influence of the indoor wall, we used radiation measurement system with antennas. And various structure and material of the indoor wall are measured. Results of the measurement show that the attenuation of power is about $1\sim3dB$ for cement wall(25cm). In the case of cement wall with steel frame, the attenuation of power was increased using horizontal polarization but was not affect using vertical polarization.

  • 위성통신 및 무선통신에서 안테나의 수신 감도를 향상시키기 위한 노력은 계속되어 왔다. 안테나의 지향성을 높이기 위하여 다수의 동형 단위 안테나들을 일정 방향으로 배열하여 안테나를 기계적으로 회전시키지 않고, 고정된 다수의 동형 단위 안테나들에서 방사되는 전파의 위상을 전자적으로 변화시켜 방사 빔을 주사하는 방법, 즉 위상배열 안테나(Phased Array Antenna)를 널리 사용하고 있다. 위상배열 안테나의 단위 안테나에서 방사되는 전파의 위상을 변화시키기 위해선 실시간 시간지연 시스템이 필요하다. (중략)

An Analysis of Radio Interference in the Rain Radars (강우 레이더 전파간섭 분석)

  • The interference among the rain radars and interference in the adjacent wireless station due to the spurious signals from the rain radar were analyzed in this paper. The rain radar measures the rain intensity using S-band signal. The measured data are utilized in forecasting the rainfall. The interference among the rain radars or in the adjacent wireless stations may be caused by the operation with low elevation angle and the high output power. Based on the propagation analysis of S band signal and the deduced interference protection ratio of rain radar, the interference due to the rain radar are analyzed. Also, the radiation spectrum characteristics of a rain radar are deduced from the caused interference effects by the spurious signals of the rain radar. To minimize the interference effects for adjacent wireless stations, it is required to get the rejection characteristics of spurious signals above 105 dB. In viewpoints of interference for rain radars, it is necessary to operate the rain radar with a different PRF and operation time opposite to adjacent rain radars.

PCB Ground Structure Improvement for Radiation Noise Reduction (방사 잡음 감소를 위한 인쇄회로기판의 접지 구조 개선)

  • With the growth of high speed circuit, unwanted system noise is increased and multipoint ground is used to reduce this noise. PCB screw ground structure has radiation noise by ground loop between screws. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, we proposed improved PCB ground structure. Proposed structure improves noise absorption by using microwave absorber and conductive copper tape. We measured radiation PCB noise in the range of 1 ㎓ to 3 ㎓ to investigate proposed structure usefulness. From these results, under 2 ㎓ range proposed structure has noise reduction by 2.62 dBuV/m, which compared with screw ground.
