The purpose of this study is to grasp the element and method of traditional expression appeared in hotel lobby spaces, and present the direction of traditional expression applicable to the domestic hotel lobby space. Therefore, this study analyzed traditional expression according to its element and method taken out from the prior researches related to it. Specifically, the element of traditional expressions divided into the element of space organization, the element of structure (bottom, wall, ceiling, window, door and pillar), and the element of decorative design(furniture, illumination, artistic ornament, color, and material). The method of traditional expressions divided into the method of prototype reappearance, prototype transformation, reinterpretation, and abstract. The target of analysis has been 27 hotels designed since 1970s. and described as expressed traditionality in architecture-technical journals and books in the inside and outside of the country. considering these results, it seems that the traditional expressions using more various elements and more various element and methods have to used in domestic hotels. Specifically, when expressing traditionality in the lobby space of domestic hotel, it is important to decided the method expressing traditionality at first, and the traditional expressions using the element of space organization, structure, decorative design, and so based on the method expression traditionality was fulfilled with coordination.

With development of digital technology and globalization after Seoul Olympic in 1988, Korea has recklessly accepted western culture, thus causing damages to Korean identity The purpose of this study is to design Imperial Palace Hotel VIP lounge space applying traditional Korean style. This study analyzed traditional expression according to its element and method taken out from the prior researches related to it. The method of traditional expressions divided into the method of prototype reappearance, prototype transformation, reinterpretation, and abstract. This study aimed at get the understanding on traditional Korean architecture, space planning and furniture arrangement. As a result, the plan represent traditional Korean style including the space planning and furniture, the colors and patterns, and the building materials. The Imperial Palace VIP lounge Is not tile space for eating and social activities, but also provide the space for introducing traditional Korean culture and life.

In this study, we selected 12 typical traditional restaurants in Korea and China and analyzed their application of traditional design approach. Through this analysis, we tried to explore similarities and differences of Korean restaurants and Chinese restaurants in order to determine the preferable way to express their own traditional design. We categorized traditional design approach as cultural elements, designing method, coloring and materials. The results are as follows: First, following a tradition and interpreting a tradition are considered as compelling design methods to express traditional culture. However, when combining a traditional and a modern design approach, it is important to either strongly emphasize traditional design elements or use small number of traditional design elements as focal points in modern design restaurants. Second, when designing a traditional restaurant using modern design elements with traditional focal points, it is more desirable to follow and/or to interpret a traditional elements, rather than experimenting an excessively unconventional design. Moreover, the design elements of exterior of a restaurant shows the identity of the restaurant. Therefore, using traditional elements in the exterior helps recognizing the traditional characteristics and culture. On the other hands, for the interior of the restaurant, it is better to use modern design method and materials for the practical reasons, such as construction cost reduction and ease of construction. We also discovered that it is more effective to use traditional elements to the pattern and color. The results of this study will set a foundation for further research of developing a design guideline for traditional restaurants.

With development of digital technology and build-up of global network in the 21st century, Korea has recklessly accepted Western information and culture in recent years, thus causing damages to out identity. In the situation, restoration and development of traditions in a modern way will contribute to the creation of contemporary interiors. This study has analyzed and assessed the process through which traditional decorative elements have applied to contemporary interior decorations over the past ten years with a view to identify the trend of expressing traditional elements in comtemporary interiors. Designs that have applied traditional elements in a transfigure expression method amounted to 77 pieces, accounting for $43\%$ of the total investigated 178 designs, which was followed by 48 designs ($27\%$) of metaphor expression method and 39 designs ($22\%$) of symbol expression method, which express the tradition as interpreted by the designer. Designs that have adopted direct expression method amounted to no more than 14 pieces, accounting only for $8\%$ of the total designs. This result suggests that transformative, metaphoric and symbolic expressions that simplify or transform the original forms we more frequently used In the applications of traditional elements to modern interiors rather than directive expression that reproduces the original form as it was.

전통적인 job shop 일정계획문제는 NP_hard 문제로 조합최적화 문제이다 일반적인 가정은 job이 방문하는 기계들의 경로가 고정되어 있다는 것이다. 경로 유연성을 가지는 job shop 일정계획문제는 job이 방문하는 기계들의 경로가 고정되어져 있지 않다는 것이다. 이러한 경우에 전통적인 job shop 문제를 복잡하게 만든다. 경로 유연성을 가지는 job shop 문제도 NP-hard 문제이다. 그러므로 휴레스틱이나 AI 기법들을 사용하는 하는 것이 불가피하게 되었다. 유전 알고리즘은 매우 복잡한 조합 최적화문제인 job shop 일정계획문제에 적용되어지고 있다. 이 논문은 최대완료시간(makespan)으로 경로 유연성을 가지는 job shop 일정계획문제를 풀기 위한 유전 알고리즘을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 경로 유연성을 가지는 job shop 일정계획문제에 대한 정의를 내리고 유전 알고리즘을 구축하기 위한 첫 단계로 유전적 표현 즉, 개체 표현방법에 대해 설명하고 유전 연산자의 소개 그리고 알고리즘 재생과정을 제시하고 수치실험을 통해 알고리즘이 양질의 일정계획을 찾을 수 있다는 것을 보이고자 한다.

This study focuses on comparative study of the representation of 'traditionality' in Asian hotel guest rooms. Hotel can be a concentration of the country's culture and tradition and provide unique experience to guests through its space, decoration, and material. However, most hotels in Korea are lack of a strong identity based on the Korean culture and tradition, due to adoptation of the western hotel styles without any criticism. The purpose of this study was to investigate the expression methods of the traditionality in Asian hotel guest rooms to provide design guideline to enhance identity of hotel guest rooms in Korea. Through analysis of the previous researches, criteria of the three design application methods and the five design elements were defined to analyze the representation of the traditonality. Design application methods were categorized as "Original form", "Partial adoption", and "Metaphor". Five design elements include "Shape", "Material", "Color", "Object", and "Pattern". Thirty nine Asian hotels containing the traditional design elements were explored in the study. In result, design application methods in Korea used all three methods equally, while other Asian countries used mainly the Partial adoption and Metaphor methods to express their traditions rather than the Original form method. All five deign elements were mostly used in case of the Original form methods, and two or three elements among five elements were used for the Partial adoption and Metaphor methods. The traditional representation of hotel guest rooms in Korea, reflecting current thinking, living pattern and culture, will be a solution for the new hotel design as well as elevation of Korea's status to a higher level.

지능형 에이전트가 홈네트워크 환경 속에서 사용자에게 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 에이전트가 속한 환경에 대한 모델이 필요하다. 온톨로지는 이러한 환경 모델을 표현하기 위한 유용한 도구로 복잡한 도메인의 조직적 구조 표현에 있어서 뛰어난 성능을 보여준다. 하지만 전통적 온톨로지는 크리스프 로직에 기반하기 때문에 현실세계의 불확실성을 표현하기에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지의 이러한 한계점을 보완하고, 불확실한 환경 속에서 지능형 홈 에이전트가 적절한 의사결정을 내릴 수 있도록 하는 베이지안 네트워크기반 온톨로지 추론 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법에서는 온톨로지의 클래스 객체를 베이지안 네트워크의 노드로 나타내고, 객체 속성(object property)을 아크로 표현함으로써, 확률적 추론이 가능한 온톨로지를 제공한다. 몇 가지 시나리오와 설계 복잡도 분석을 통해서 제안하는 방법의 유용성을 평가한다.

본 논문은 문화적 표현특성을 기초로, 중국 6개 최대 도시의 대표적인 현대 상업건축 공간 사례에 대해 비교분석을 진행한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 중국 현대 상업용 건물의 실내공간 문화가 지속 가능한 발전을 이루기를 기대한다. 6개 사례를 각각 문화의 전통성, 지역성, 대중성, 기술성, 생태성 5가지 관점에서 분석했고 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화의 전통성은 상업건축의 실내공간에서 구체적인 지역의 전통적 요소를 중시하도록 요구한다. 둘째, 문화의 지역성은 상업건축의 실내공간이 있는 곳의 경제발전 정도, 역사적 내막, 지리적 환경조건, 기후 등 사회와 자연환경 요인과 밀접하게 연관되어 있다. 셋째, 문화의 대중성은 상업건축의 실내공간을 통해 대중문화의 통합화, 레저화, 오락화, 기호화를 나타낸다. 넷째, 문화의 기술성은 현지의 문화성을 가진 시공 방법, 구조 형식, 재료를 상업건축 실내공간에 통합하는 것이다. 다섯째, 문화의 생태성은 상업건축의 실내공간에 식물을 배치하고, 건강하고 쾌적하며 안전한 환경을 만드는 것이다.

카토그램(Cartogram)은 통계데이터를 이용하여 지리공간에 나타나는 현상을 효과적으로 표현하는 방법 중 하나이다. 카토그램이란 넓은 의미에서 모든 통계지도를 포함하지만, 좁은 의미에서 지도의 변형을 통해 통계데이터의 특징을 표현하는 시각화 방법을 의미한다. 이 연구에서는 후자의 의미에서 카토그램이란 용어를 사용하였으며, 우리나라를 대상으로 절대적 공간을 시간거리 접근성에 의한 공간 카토그램으로 재구성하여 지도화하고, 변화된 공간패턴을 분석하고자 하였다. 카토그램은 특정한 목적을 위해 기본도의 형상이나 지역간의 연속성을 강조시켜서 만든 변형된 지도의 일종으로 전통적인 지도와는 매우 다른 이미지를 주게 되지만, 표현하고자 하는 현상의 공간적 구조를 매우 효과적으로 나타낼 수 있다.

'디테일의 거장'이라고 불리는 이탈리아 디자이너 카를로 스카르파(Carlo Scarpa)는 당시 시대적 조류였던 모더니즘의 한계를 넘어 지역성과 역사성이 담긴 감성적이고 시적인 정원을 창조한 예술가로 평가받는다. 본 연구는 스카르파 정원작품 속 디테일의 표현기법, 재료사용, 상징성을 분석함으로써 그의 디자인 철학 및 접근방법, 현대 정원설계에 있어서의 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 문헌고찰 및 현장조사 방법을 통해 베니스 및 인근지역에 위치한 스카르파 정원 및 공원의 디테일을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스카르파는 재료의 물성에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로 다양한 재료의 병치, 대비, 혼합을 통해 전통과 현대가 조화된 풍부하고 흥미로운 정원공간을 연출하였다. 둘째, 재료의 연결과 병치에 있어서도 유리세공과 같은 수공예적인 기법이나 덧대기 등의 텍스타일 디자인 방법을 적용하여 섬세하고 세련된 정원 디테일을 구성하였다. 셋째, 지그라트 모티브나 기하학 등 자신만의 독특한 조형언어를 통해 단조롭고 삭막해 보일 수 있는 모더니즘 정원에 풍부하고 화려한 장식성을 부여하였으며, 물, 지형, 식재 등의 자연적 소재들을 통해 장소, 역사, 문화, 인간의 삶을 상징적으로 표현하였다. 공예가적인 장인정신을 바탕으로 섬세한 재료이용과 디테일을 통해 서술적이고 시적인 정원을 설계한 스카르파의 모더니즘 정원은 오늘날 전통재료 및 문화의 현대적 재해석 방법에 있어 많은 시사점을 준다.
