Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the needlestick injuries in the dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 253 dental hygienists by convenience sampling from December 1, 2014 to March 20, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of 11 questions of sociodemographic characteristics, 5 questions of needlestick injuries experience, 3 questions of needlestick injuries during treatment and 2 questions of needlestick handling method. Data were analyzed by chi-square test, t-test and one way ANOVA analysis using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. Results: Those who had needlestick injuries within a year were 150 persons (59.3%) and the mean was 1.28 times per year. The needlestick injuries were frequent in the local anesthetic injection to gum. The completion and removal of the needle injection by hand accidently stung the digits and hand (p<0.01). Conclusions: Needlestick injuries can happen at any time to the dental hygienists in the dental clinics, so it is necessary to handle the needlestick carefully in case of anesthetic injection.

This study was conducted to evaluate accuracy and precision of reference values used for quality control of the Korean industrial hygiene laboratory for three rounds. Factors affecting on accuracy and precision, including analytical procedures, were investigated. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Pooled relative standard deviation of reference values analyzed by reference laboratories was 2.01-5.91%, and that by both reference laboratories and participated laboratories was 3.18-6.63%. Better results were obtained when results of reference laboratories were employed. 2. Significant relationship was indicated between analytical precision and concentration of materials in samples. Variation increased by decreasing sample concentration. 3. Recoveries of lead and cadmium were about 98.6% and 99.8% respectively. There was a significant difference between lead values with and without recovery correction. 4. Organic solvent results corrected by desorption efficiency only and those corrected by Both internal standards and desorption efficiency were more accurate than those uncorrected. But, the latter was the best.

This study was developed the posture balance system of multi-parameter for moving body after and before exercising. Body transition meaned a head moving and upper body moving. This system has catched a signal for physical condition of body data such as a data acquisition system, data signal processing and feedback system. There were checked a parameter that measured vision, vestibular, somatosensory, CNS. This system was evaluated a data through the stability. The posture balance system can be used to support assessment for body moving in exercising situation. It was expected to monitor a physical parameter for health management system.

The purpose of this study is to investigate guidelines and safety and precautionary devices for prevention of needlestick injuries in dental offices. This study conducted comparative analysis on the domestic and overseas guidelines for infection control and surveyed safety and precautionary devices for prevention of needlestick injuries. Based on the result of analysis and survey, this study suggests safety and precautionary guidelines to prevent needlestick injuries. To prevent needlestick injuries, staff in dental offices should be well aware of the guidelines for infection control and how to use safety and precautionary devices.

Robust control for DC motor is needed according to the highest precision of industrial automation. However when a motor control system with PID controller has an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of control system. As a compensation method solving this problem, in this paper, PID-supervision hybrid control method for motor control system is presented. If the PID control system (without the supervisory controller) is stable in the sense that the error is inside the constraint set, the supervisory control is idle. If the error hits the boundary of the constraint, the supervisory controller begins operation to force the error back to the constraint set. We prove that the PID-supervision hybrid control system is globally stable in the sense that the error is guaranteed to be within the tolerance limits specified by the system designer.

The interest on rural ecological landscape has recently grown on the part of policy makers for rural development. While considerable efforts and resources have been invested to preserve and utilize rural landscape, we still lack a systematic means to quantify and evaluate ecosystem service value of the rural landscape and management status. So this study suggests rural ecological landscape management indicator considering ecosystem service value. It consists of 28 criteria and 107 subcategories, which can be applied to rural village. And We have applied ecosystem service value assessment and resident's management status on three villages, Moondang village, Yonggye village, and Sesim village.

The study goals are establishing a library management plan for the school for the blind in Korea and also developing a structured library program, which reflected the patron's perception. We surveyed the students in three schools for the blind to identify their perception and usage statistics of the libraries. The analysis of the survey led to a school library program framework consisting of four types. To verify the applicability and effectiveness of the framework, we designed ten programs to meet the needs of the schools by consulting respective school's teachers. We administered the second survey after the classes, and we found that there were positive increases in the frequency of library use, a number of books read, perception about the libraries, amount of information used, and self-directed learning willingness.

This study developed a user experience factors for the evaluation of knowledge and information resource system from the user experience perspectives, which is emerging as a new analysis standard in the field of information media and information service research. Based on the analysis criteria selected through literature analysis, 'system perception factor' and 'user experience factor' were derived as factors influencing the use of information systems through an experimental study based on the user experience sampling method. As a result, the user experience factors of final knowledge and information resource system includes nine user experience factors, 55 detailed user experience factors, and 138 system perception factors. This study is significant in that the abstract concept 'user experience' was derived and presented as a practical, concrete, measurable factor through experiments. The derived user experience factors should serve as a basis for measuring user experience perceived by users of the knowledge and information resource system.

Recent national policy agenda of 'Low-Carbon Green Growth' has been implemented as the important vision of the country. The government has set a target of entering the seven major world powers of Green Nation at 2020, and five major world powers at 2050. In order to achieve the goal, the reduction of greenhouse gases and the composition of green land and transportation has been promoted as an important policy. In a construction industry sector, policies and technologies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy have been actively developed. In the case of developed countries, research for green road infrastructure has been conducted, which is the basis for certification system of green highway. This paper benchmarks the policies and cases of developed countries, verifies the applicability in the domestic road sector, and suggests the introduction of the certification system of green highway.

In spite of regular electrical safety inspection and improvement management of incongruent facilities, over 80 percent of electrical fires were generated in electrical facilities for general use, and the prevention of electrical safety accidents gets more difficult because of incomprehension on electrical safety inspection system, the increasement of non-inspection electrical facilities user, un-installation of residual current protective devices and leaving unsuitable equipments alone. This paper analyzed electrical safety inspection system of electrical facilities for general use and results of safety inspection and electrical fire statistics, and deducted the related problems. Also, improvement method of safety management of electrical facilities for general use was proposed in view of electrical safety inspection system, inspection implementation method, electrical fire statistics establishment, electrical safety consciousness and remote electrical safety inspection system.
