Alveoloar Rhabdomyosarcoma of Tongue Base in an Infant : A Case Report (영아의 설근부에 발생한 폐포성 횡문근육종 1예)

  • 영아의 설근부에 발생하는 악성 종양은 매우 드물다. 저자들은 연하곤란과 폐쇄성 수면 무호흡증으로 의뢰된 17개월 남아의 설근부에 발생한 횡문근육종을 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. 외래에서 실시한 이학적 검사 상 설근부 전체가 돌출되어 있었으며 단단한 종괴가 촉지 되었다. 조직검사와 기관절개술을 시행하였으며 컴퓨터단층촬영, 양전자 방출 단층 촬영 그리고 뼈 스캔과 함께 염색체 분석을 실시하였다. 조직검사 결과 폐포성 횡문근육종이 확인되었으며 전이의 증거는 없었다. 염색체 분석상 폐포성 횡문근육종에 상응하는 PAX7-FKHR 유전자 전좌가 발견되었다. 8 회의 항암화학요법과 방사선 치료 후 촉지되는 설근부의 종괴는 없었으며 환자가 호소하는 증상도 개선되었다. 추적 관찰 시 시행된 자기공명영상 결과 확연한 종괴 크기의 감소를 확인할 수 있었다. 횡문근육종은 매우 드문 악성 종양으로 수술과 함께 항암화학요법, 방사선치료 등 여러 치료 방법이 동원되지만 전이나 재발이 있을 시 예후는 매우 불량하다. 그러므로 영아에서 연하곤란, 호흡 곤란 등의 증상이 있을 시에는 설근부를 포함한 상부호흡소화관을 적극적으로 검사하여야 하며 악성 종양의 가능성을 염두에 두어야 하겠다.

  • This study aims to establish an efficient future technology development strategy in the information and telecommunications industry by grasping related technology trends and fusion complexity through an analysis based on standard patents. Analyzing 1,983 patents related to the information and telecommunications industry identified the trends in major patent applicants and detailed technologies in the world. In addition, technology trends were investigated through keyword analysis to examine the degree of complexity in information and communications technology, confirming the direction of research in information technology. Electronic component and wireless communications fields have relatively few standard patents, but they are highly convergent with other industrial technologies. Computer information processes and communication and broadcasting technologies are highly related to each other, so they can be used as standard fusion technologies in standard patents. In addition, standardization activities in optical and image/sound devices are found to be high.

  • When calculating an intersection collision speed using a formula, it is very difficult to grasp the degree of deceleration of a vehicle after the collision unless there is road surface trace in the entire section where each vehicle moved from the point of collision to their final positions after the collision. A vehicle's motion trajectory shows an irregular curve after a collision due to the effects of inertia based on the driving characteristics of the vehicle, the eccentric force according to the collision site, and the collision speed. Therefore, it is very important to set the appropriate departure angle after a collision for accurate collision speed analysis. In this study, based on experimental collision data using a computer simulation (PC-Crash), the correlation between an appropriate vehicle departure angle and the post-collision speed was analyzed, and then, a regression analysis model was derived. Through this, we propose a method to calculate collision speed by applying only the vehicle departure angle in some types of collisions for traffic accidents at intersections.

An Optimal Container Deployment Policy in Fog Computing Environments (Fog Computing 환경에서의 최적화된 컨테이너 배포 정책)

  • Appropriate containers are deployed to cope with new request arrivals at Fog Computing (FC) hosts. In the case, we can consider two scenarios: (1) the requests may be queued until sufficient resources are prepared for the container deployments; (2) FC hosts may transfer arrived service requests to nearby FC hosts when they cannot accommodate new container deployments due to their limited or insufficient resources. Herein, for more employed neighboring FC hosts, arrived service requests may experience shorter waiting time in container deployment queue of each FC host. In contrast, they may take longer transfer time to pass through increased number of FC hosts. For this reason, there exists a trade-off relationship in the container deployment time depending on the number of employed FC hosts accommodating service request arrivals. Consequently, we numerically analyze the trade-off relationship to employ optimal number of neighboring FC hosts.

  • In this paper, we propose a closed-form based 3D localization method in the presence of multiple signal sources. General localization methods such as TDOA, AOA, and FDOA can estimate a location when a single signal source exists. When there are multiple unknown signal sources, there is a limit in estimating the location. The proposed method calculates a cross-correlation vector of signals received by sensors having an array antenna, and estimates TDOA and AOA values from the cross-correlation values. Then, the coordinate transformation is performed using the position of the reference sensor. Then, the coordinate rotation is performed using the estimated AOA value for the transformed coordinates, and then the three-dimensional position of each emitter is estimated. The proposed method verifies its performance through computer simulation.

  • Among Korea's content industries, the game industry is growing in size to the extent that it can be said to be a representative export-benefiting industry. Accordingly, many users are immersed in the game, and furthermore, they are addicted. This study aims to derive factors for social game users to continue to use by identifying the factors of domestic social network game users' attachment to social network games and empirically studying the causal relationship between these factors and the intention to continue to use them through immersion and addiction. To this end, a research model was presented that applies the main variables of the attachment theory of social network game users to games. The research model of this study surveyed general college students at S University in Seoul who tended to use social network games. As a result of the study, first, it was found that perceived stability had a significant effect on immersion and addiction. Second, it was found that perceived avoidance had a significant effect on immersion and did not have a significant effect on addiction. Third, perceived anxiety was found to have a significant effect on immersion, and it was found that it did not significantly affect addiction. Fourth, it was found that immersion did not significantly affect addiction, and it was found that it had a significant effect on continuous use intention. Fifth, addiction was found to have a significant effect on the intention to continue use. Through this, social network game users' attachment to games can provide useful implications for social network game companies to become attached to existing consumers, spreading social network game users, and improving the possibility of continuous use.

Mask Estimation Based on Band-Independent Bayesian Classifler for Missing-Feature Reconstruction (Missing-Feature 복구를 위한 대역 독립 방식의 베이시안 분류기 기반 마스크 예측 기법)

  • In this paper. we propose an effective mask estimation scheme for missing-feature reconstruction in order to achieve robust speech recognition under unknown noise environments. In the previous work. colored noise is used for training the mask classifer, which is generated from the entire frequency Partitioned signals. However it gives a limited performance under the restricted number of training database. To reflect the spectral events of more various background noise and improve the performance simultaneously. a new Bayesian classifier for mask estimation is proposed, which works independent of other frequency bands. In the proposed method, we employ the colored noise which is obtained by combining colored noises generated from each frequency band in order to reflect more various noise environments and mitigate the 'sparse' database problem. Combined with the cluster-based missing-feature reconstruction. the performance of the proposed method is evaluated on a task of noisy speech recognition. The results show that the proposed method has improved performance compared to the Previous method under white noise. car noise and background music conditions.

  • The Future Battlefield includes the main areas of modern warfare, including the ground, sea, and air, as well as cyberspace and space. Cyberspace consists of computers, wired and wireless networks, and spans the ground, sea, air, and space domains. Cyber warfare takes place in cyberspace, so it is not easy for people without expertise in cyber to recognize the cyber situation. Therefore, training personnel with professional knowledge and skills in cyber is paramount in preparation for cyber warfare. In particular, the results of cyber warfare will vary greatly depending on the ability of cyber combatants to carry it out, the performance of cyber systems, and the proficiency of cyber warfare procedures. The South Korean military has power to respond to cyber warfare at various levels, centering on the Cyber Operations Command, but there is a limit to defending all the rapidly expanding cyberspace. In this paper, to overcome these limitations, we looked at the changes in Germany's cyber warfare response policy. Based on them, the organization structure, weapon system, and education and training system of future Korean military cyber forces are presented separately.

  • As with the vast array of computer technology and its rapid development, along with the entry of the internet as one of the necessities of life, the so-called cyber space has become a vital component of our modern day living. While such cyber space has provided the society with much convenience and utility as to the gathering and acquiring of information, crimes involving cyber space has accordingly increased in both number and form, Nevertheless, the conventional law as existed before the development of the cyber space were unable to meet the demands of this new breed of crime, which inevitably led to the gap in the government ability to punish such criminals, Thus, in response to the rising number of cyber crimes, a large number of nations have either created or is in the process of committing human and financial resources to strengthen the investigative powers relating to cyber crimes and creating a new area of prohibiting such crimes. As a overview of cyber crime, (1)defines the terms, describes features of cyber crime, (2)explains the international prevention necessity of cyber crime, and (3)the necessity of legislating the cyber crime Fundamental Act (4)the recognition of the evidential values on the confiscated electronic records and reviews types of cyber crime including cyberterror. Lastly, emphasizes necessity on international cooperation for prevention of cyber crime as usual.

  • 시간과 공간의 구애를 받지 않는 양질의 음성, 화상, 문자정보의 교환을 위한 노력으로 디지털 휴대폰과 휴대용 컴퓨터가 등장하면서 음성과 문자정보의 교환분야에 커다란 진보를 이룩하였다. 그러나 현재는 휴대폰이 음성정보에 문자정보교환이 추가된 상황이기 때문에, 아직도 관련 정보교환기술 및 기기개발이 진행되고 있다. 앞으로 휴대폰과 휴대용 컴퓨터의 기능을 통합하고 화상정보까지 결합된 휴대용 정보기기를 위해서는 전자회로의 집적화 및 통신속도 증대가 필수적이다. 또한 이들 휴대용 정보기기를 구동시키기 위한 전력도 증가될 것으로 예측되기 때문에, 현재 전원으로 사용되는 2차전지보다 에너지 밀도가 더욱 증패된 전지가 요구될 것으로 예상된다. 그리고 내연기관의 배기에 의해 발생되는 환정오염문제를 해결하기 위한 방법중의 일환으로 전기자동차 개발이 진행되고 있으며, 이들 전기자동차에 2차전지를 장착하기 위해서 경제성이 있고, 고속충전이 가능하고, 안전성이 높은 고에너지 밀도의 2차 전지 개발이 요구되고 있다. 현재 2차전지는 음극재료나 양극재료에 따라 낚축전지, 니켈/카드륨(Ni/Cd) 전지, 니켈/수소(Ni/MH) 전지, 라륨 2 차전지등이 있으며, 전극재료의 고유특성에 의해 전위와 애너지 밀도가 결정된다. 특히 리튬 2차전지는 리튬의 낮은 산화환원전위와 분자량으로 인해 에너지 밀도가 높기 때문에 앞에서 언급한 휴대용 전자기기의 구동전원으로 많이 사용되고 있다. 리튬 2차전지는 음극 재료가 금속리튬인 경우는 리튬금속으로, 탄소재료인 경우는 리튬이온이라 하며, 한편으로 전해질이 고체 고분자이거나 혹은 역체 유기용매와 리튬염을 고분자와 혼성시킨 겔(gel)인 경우는 고분자로, 전해짙이 리튬염이 전리되어 있는 유동성 액체일 경우는 고분자를 생략하여 구분하고 있다. 즉 리튬금속 2 차전지(LB), 리튬이온 2 차전지(LIB), 리튬금속 고분자 2차전지(LPB), 리튬 이온 고분자 2차전지(LIPB)로 크게 구분된다. 금속리듐을 음극으로 사용하고 전해질로는 리튬염이 전리되어 있는 액체유기용매 를 사용한 리튬금속 2차전지는, 금속리튬전극이 충방전 과정을 반복하면서, 전리된 리튬이 균일하게 산화환원되지 못하고 표변에서 양극방향으로 성장하는 수지상 (dendrite) 현상으로 인해 안전성 확보에 문게가 있었다. 리튬과 알루미늄 합금형태로 음극에 사용한 동전형 전지는 상용화 되었지만, 이러한 단점을 개선하기 위해 리튬이온이 금속으로 석활되는 환원반응전위보다 높은 전위에서 전극재료가 충전되면서 리튬이온이 저장되고, 방전되면서 배출되는 탄소를 음극재료로, 그리고 리튬이온이 충방 전시 가역적으로 삼입 탈리되는 층상의 리튬금속산화물을 양극으로 구성하고, 엑체 전해질과 다공성 고분자 분리막을 사용한 것이 LIB이다. LIB에서 리튬이온의 이동이 가능한 액체전해질의 가능을 고분자 전해질이 대신함으로서 보다 높은 안정성을 확보 한 전지가 LIPB 이다. 또한 고분자 전해질을 사용한 경우 금속리튬상에서의 수지상 성장이 저하되는 현상이 관찰됨으로서, 이론용량이 3,860mAh/g 에 달하는 리튬금속 혹은 합금을 고분자 전지에서 음극으로 사용하고자 하는 2 차전지가 LPB 이다. 리튬 2차전지는 비록 1989년 액체전해질을 사용한 금속리튬 2차전지의 실패전력을 안고있지만 궁극적으로는 이론적으로 최대의 에너지밀도를 가지고 있는 LPB를 지 향할 것으로 예상되지만 가까운 장래에 실현되기는 어려울 것이다. 따라서 향후의 라튬 2차전지의 전개방향은 현재의 LIB를 고분자 전해질을 채용하는 LIPB로 진행시커면서 저가의 전극재료개발을 지속적으로 추진할 것으로 예상된다. 현재 리튬 2차전지는 소형전지에 국한되고 있지만 전기자동차나 전력저장용으로 이를 대형화시커기 위해서는 열적특성이 우수하고 저가인 전극재료개발이 선행되야하기 때문에, 저가의 탄소재료와 코발트산화물을 대신할 수 있는 철, 망칸 또는 니켈산 화물의 개발이 필요하다.
