Objectives: The purpose of this study was to increase the utilization of Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guidelines(KMCGP) for ankle sprain by investigating the recognition of guideline developed in 2015 and evaluating the current status of treatment. Methods: An e - mail questionnaire survey was conducted for Korean medicine doctor(K.M.D) registered in Korean Medicine Association. Survey data were analyzed through Excel. Results: The most common Korean medicine treatments used in clinic were acupuncture(adjacent points)(28.5%), cupping therapy(19.7%) and pharmacopuncture(9.8%). The treatments with high patient satisfaction were acupuncture (adjacent points)(27.9%), moxibustion(22.4%) and herbal medicine(10.4%). Herbal medicine(17.9%), tuina(10.7%) and embedding therapy(9.2%) were difficult to perform during treatment because of cost. In the case of a later revision, respondents most thought it is necessary to update evidence and adjust recommendation ratings. A majority of all respondents said they would like to know about the revised guideline through the Internet. In the expected revision effect, the first order was 'presentation of standardized treatment method', the second was 'establishing the basis of Korean medicine treatment', and the third was 'strengthening the status of Korean medicine as therapeutic medicine'. Many respondents wished to add exercise therapy. In order to increase the utilization rate of the guideline, many respondents thought it should be included in textbooks and 90.6% of respondents answered that they would use more than 50% of the revised guideline. Conclusion: It is necessary to update evidence and adjust recommendation ratings and to promote KMCGP. At the same time treatment methods should be taught to K.M.D

The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of information resources of the humanities scholars in Korea and suggest the strategic planning of academic library and information services to serve their needs. To collect data, a mail survey was conducted during the period of November 2007 through January 2008. Out of 799 humanities scholars sampled from 25 universities, 132 responded with the completion rate of 16%. Major findings in this study are as follows: First, the majority of the humanities scholars distribute their time equally to research and education, and conduct independent research. Second, they still largely depend on print resources, including scholarly journals, books, and manuscripts for getting information, while using some online information resource mostly in text such as electronic documents and journals. They expect that the frequency of using such print resources would not decline much, but the use of online resources could definitely increase in the next five years. Some variances in the behavior were observed among the groups of scholars according to their research experiences. It is suggested that academic libraries (1) conduct more active outreach, (2) prioritize between traditional and electronic resources, (3) plan information literacy education for traditional resources.
It is not an overstatement that nowadays electronic mails are communicated more frequently as well as conveniently than phones and facsimiles, not only in routine life hot also in business transactions. Also, it is evident that emails will be used more and more as a communication method between internal and external organizations. If the information transferred and received via emails takes a role of business records, it is no wonder that emails should be uniformly managed as public records. Currently, however, specific policies or guidelines for the management of email records are not available, nor do most of public employees realize that emails are the actual records of the organization. In fact, the three research methods have been used for this study in the purpose of the establishment of email records management scheme. First of all, bibliographic research has been conducted in an effort to describes the definition and types of email records indicated in the guidelines of each nation, as well as the differences from the transitory email messages. Secondly, email management guidelines and policies of public institutions of England, The United States, Australia, and Canada, so-called the advanced countries of the records management, have been analyzed to examine the advanced examples of email management. In order to manage email records effectively, the functional requirements - capture, classification, storage, access, tracking, disposition, and role and responsibility were categorized in this thesis, based on the ISO 15489. As the designs of these foreign guidelines vary one another, common factors of them were extracted to be included in the realm of the seven stages. Lastly, this thesis has analyzed characteristics of the email system within the Electronic Document Management System of existing administrative institutions. Also, it has examined the overall environment of the email records management of public institutions and sought out its improvement. In essence, focused on the crucial factors on email management drawn out from the email management guidelines of foreign nations and the analysis of the policies, this thesis proposes an email records management scheme for Korean public intuitions, as well as an email management model suitable for forthcoming e-government era.

Participating Physician can access the servers at the center using a Web browser running on a PC available to them at any time. These components are linked together through various kinds of data and voice communication channels including PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) . CATV(Community Antenna TV) . Interned. and mobile communication network. Following the Physician's direction given to a Patient. he or she uses the home health care terminal to collect vital signs and fill out the questionnaire. When the terminal automatically transmits these data to the management center. the data interpreter and servers at the center process the information fo1lowing the Protocol implemented on the system. Physicians can retrieve and review data corresponding to their Patients and send back their diagnostic reports to the center. UMS at the center delivers the physician 's recommendation to the corresponding patient through the notification server. Patients can also reprieve and review their own records as well as diagnostic reports from physicians. The system Provides a new way of collecting diagnostic information and delivering doctor's recommendation to patients at home for their health management. Future works are needed in the development of new technology for measurements and interpretations of various vital signs .
The various environmental regulation directives such as RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products) and WEEE (waste from electrical and electronic equipments) are practically used as the technical barrier in international trade (TBT) of vehicles and electrical and electronic products recently. Regarding such an environmental regulation, Korea Research Institute of Standards Science (KRISS) organized a proficiency testing scheme to establish the reliability of measurement results produced by the relevant research institutes and test laboratories in Korea. Participants were 31 laboratories related to production of the electrical and electronic equipments and mobile vehicles. Two polypropylene samples of pellet type were employed as the proficiency testing materials (PTMs). Cadmium and lead were the analytes chosen among six components regulated in European Union (EU) RoHS directive. The PTMs were sent to the participants by post on September $1^{st}$ 2006, and deadline for results submission were October $10^{th}$ 2006. The results of each laboratory were evaluated in comparison with KRISS reference values using Robustic Z-score and Youden plot methods. The results of the various sample digestion methods were also compared. Most of participants reported good agreement within 10 % range of reference values. However, results from several laboratories showed significant biases from reference values. These laboratories should establish the quality assurance system for improvement of the measurement reliability.

This study suggests a model for building governance system to develop and utilize human resources in Chungnam province. In particular, In the regional level of balanced development of human resources, the study tries to investigate alternatives to utilize regional human resources development by building and using a network between related organizations through their partnership and cooperative relations. This survey was conducted to 250 of personnel and experts who were in charge of human resources in diverse chungnam institutions through mail or e-mail from December in 2008 to February in 2009. As a result of the survey, the study shows that basic groundwork for the regional human resources development is poor in terms of forming the system and its plans, and the ties and cooperation between related organization, Therefore this study shows that in order to overcome the current situation and build the governance appropriate to Chungnam area, we need to consider different approaches for each regional organization stage by stage regarding the maturity in the governance.
In this paper, we investigate a Hausdorff distance, which is used for the measurement of image similarity, to see whether it is also effective for document retrieval. The proposed method uses a local crowdedness and a Hausdorff distance to locate text images by determining whether a pair of images scanned at different time comes from the same text or not. To reduce the processing time, which is one of the disadvantages of a Hausdorff distance algorithm, we adopt a local crowdedness for feature point extraction. We apply the proposed method to 190 pairs of the same class and 190 pairs of the different class collected from postal envelop images. The results show that the modified Hausdorff distance proposed in this paper performed well in locating the tort region and calculating the degree of similarity between two images. An improvement of accuracy by 2.7% and 9.0% has been obtained, compared to a binary correlation method and the original Hausdorff distance method, respectively.

In the multimedia CDMA mobile communication service, it is required to support various applications, such as voice, video, file transfer, e-mail, and Internet access, with guaranteed QoS. In the mixed traffic environment ,which consists of voice, stream data, and packet data, we analyze the network where preemptive priority is granted to delay-intolerant voice service and a buffer is offered to delay-tolerant stream data service. And, for best-effort packet data service, the access control by transmission permission probability is applied to obtain prominent throughput. To analyze the multimedia CDMA mobile communication system, we build a 2-dimensional markov chain model about prioritized-voice and stream data services and accomplish numerical analysis in combination with packet data traffic based on residual capacity equation.

The purpose of this study is to present the factors needed to introduce knowledge management systems to university libraries in Korea, to suggest various methods needed to offer much more improved services of a library than now by investigating the current situations about introducing such factors in national and pubic university libraries in Korea. Almost all of the 33 university libraries selected the subject of investigation have offered the on-line reference service, e-mail pushing service, and full text constructions out of the 11 knowledge management system elements presented in this study, but the other services else have been offered by less than half the number of the libraries. The findings suggest to greatly improve the current services of libraries such as information education and selective dissemination of information, and immediately to introduce new systems including e-book and wireless service systems in order to the university competitiveness. The study implies that each library has already introduced the knowledge management systems, in proportion to a budget of the library, ifs librarian number, and a degree restructuring organization, and that an introduction of knowledge management systems such as policy and culture of organization, its librarian number, and its related security of budget takes the most important role in improving services of a library.

The purpose of this paper was to investigate the operational status of youth facilities as well as the degree of students' satisfaction with menus served at youth facilities. The survey was conducted from July 9 to July 31, 2013 using questionnaires. The responses of 55 youth facilities and 249 students who had experienced foodservice at youth facilities were analyzed, utilizing the SPSS V20.0 program. The results on management status of youth facilities were as follows: 41.8% of youth facilities were operated for over 10 years, and 45.5% of facilities served meals for 100 to 200 students per day on average. Meal costs were 4,450 won on average, and food costs accounted for 46.8% of average meal costs. Exactly 78.2% of facilities preserved storage type meals at a temperature under -18 degrees Celsius for more than 144 hours, as the 'Food Sanitation Act' stated. Exactly 12.7% of facilities did not hire professional dietitians and had unsupervised foodservice management. Among 19 kitchen equipments surveyed in this research, Combi steamer was the least frequent at youth facilities. According to the results, most students (38.7%) ate leftovers since the food was not tasty. Overall foodservice satisfaction was on average 3.45 points, and the four factors 'dining room sanitation' (P<0.05), 'food taste' (P<0.01), 'serving various desserts' (P<0.01) and 'temperature of dining room' (P<0.05), significantly affected overall satisfaction. As food taste was critical for customer satisfaction, it is important for each dietitian to consider customers' preferences and develop recipes and menus. Further, detailed regulation and precise guidelines for youth facility foodservice are required to enhance students' foodservice satisfaction and serve nutritionally balanced menus in a hygienic manner.
